That's what it seems. But then again, she is a 15 yr old female... Maybe her Mom was too strict for her and she was just rebellious. Parents can try their best but still appear to be "mean" to the teenager.... For all we know the Aunt and Grandmother were pimping her out in Florida (Yes I seriously doubt that - Very pessimistic), but we don't know the whole story.... Don't condemn the Mother so quickly.

at least she was found safe and sound . this is def a huge relief for the family ! edit : yo before you come for me saying that it would have been better if she wasn't found , i literally had no idea that she went missing because of the way her mother was treating her .

I'm really relieved that she's okay, but I hope they actually looked into why family aided in helping her run away. Was the home dangerous or were her parents just overly strict?
*I mean, there's more to the story than there is. The police/authorities should probably investigate the family, and how or why the daughter ran away. For sure, there should be more investigating.*
The say here in the comments sections that her mom's boyfriend was making advances at her or abusing her. She told her mom and her mom would not believe her. So, she ran away for her own safety.
She left willingly and her aunt and grandmother came to pick her up. A 14 year old doesn’t make it to Florida without help. They likely wouldn’t have interfered unless they felt they had to. She wasn’t being held prisoner. They were protecting her.
she did sadly:(. her mom and dad abused and mistreated her. her dad isn’t allowed to watch her unless its supervision. during the investigation they kept blaming each other and her mother didn’t care that she was gone. they kept her hidden for a reason.
@@healingthroughchrist1988 Maybe but I don’t know for sure, i’ve just seen a lot of similar situations, including my own. Most of the time the child goes willingly and the adult in question normally gets charged without any look into the parents. I just assume she wasn’t kidnapped due to her age and that It was family that she was with.
Yeah but there wasn’t even a mention a step dad existed. Girls don’t run away and hide from their MOTHER , without good reasoning. Could be the mom, could be the real dad seeing as it’s implied he exists due to the aunt being charged with interfering with custody. Who knows .

There has to be a reason why she decided to go missing. I mean, when a child is happy and is loved they have no reason to runaway. I'm just happy she's alive and well.
Why was that Not the first place authorities looked? I would look carefully at the circumstances that made this young woman bolt? When you see youngsters flee like this, they have good reasons most of the time. Leave the grandparents alone, as they could not turn down their granddaughter. There's more to this story.
People don’t know what could have been happening for them to do that to begin with it’s strange , they could have been protecting her from her immediate family
It’s always nice to see people return safely after going missing. People like her give me hope that people missing for months and even years still have a chance at being found, and even alive and safe too.
She was never missing. Her parents were just cruel and she chose to live with her better family members. The parents don't deserve to have her back. She doesn't wanna go back. Let this girl live the way she wants with her other care takers/guardians.

I find this so interesting because this girl went to my school and I remember when she first went missing everyone who was her friend was posting on their instagram stories. I’m so glad she’s safe now :) ❤️❤️
I'm so happy she was found and that she's safe. Strange situation but I was relieved to see it wasn't a guy who could have sexual assaulted and traumatized her
But i see alot of comments saying on the local news that she said that her mom's bf was making sexual advances at her and her mama didn't believe her.Also they're saying she wtote a ling letter on Instagram talking about all the abuse she's been having to deal with at home
Thank goodness they found her safely. Way too many of these cases end in tragedy, but I’m glad this has a brighter ending. I’m curious to find out the details of what exactly happened.
I remember when this story first came out people were so quick to assume she was kidnapped and was being raped and probably tortured/murdered. People love being their own detectives with no evidence lmao
@@caasicoleman1367 But that is the reality. Who cares if it’s negative and biased? You have to assume the worst when someone is missing for months with no explanation. And I bet the girl willingly left home because she was being sexually abused by a male at her house. That’s why many young women leave home with no explanation.

@@april8607 Cause nobody wants to make the mother a bad guy. But the mother is abusive. It's the only thing that makes sense. If she was kidnapped why was she healthy? If she wanted to go home, why delay? She obviously told the aunt to not say anything. I dunno but I'ma keep my eye on the mother.
I wonder why she ran away to grandma's house...is she being abused at home or does she just not like her mom's house rules? Its a blessing that she was with family instead of strangers and that she was found safe.
This was super vague news… why would she not call her mom if she wanted to come back home? Sounds like a vacation more then a kidnapping. Maybe she hates her mom.
yeah it's vague because the family's issues aren't things that have to be released to the public. But the update that she is no longer a "missing person" is public info.

She ran away. Turns out her parents had been abusing and neglecting her. She requested and begged a judge to allow her to live with her aunt but she was denied
I live in Indiana and I heard about this, I had freinds who knew her and it was a big deal for a while. I thought she was never founds because we never heard anything for months. I’m glad she was safe, but there must be a reason she ran away. I think everyone needs to be invested at this point.

I hope her family is investigated. Poor girl may not be safe at home. I remember having family conflict when I was 14 and it is honestly such a rough age in a teens life. I hope she is safe and if needed, gets help.
Honestly I'm glad it was "only" relatives in some sort of custody kerfuffle, and not some absolute evil kidnapper with a rape dungeon, which is what I feared when I saw the title.
