Who knew Ireland had a pyramid? I definitely didn't so when I came across a video on RU-vid saying we did, it was time to get on the bike. From kilkenny to Offaly it was a 140km round trip cycle. Epic day one the bike with all sorts of weather.

Garvagh Forest, in the North, near Coleraine has the Garvagh Pyramid, created as a burial chamber for Lord Garvagh in the 19th Century. Unfortunately the pyramid was never allowed to fulfil the task it was designed for and was sealed shut with no incumbent a number of years ago.

@@derekfeehan Derek, loads a video but probably unsuitable to share with the language !🤪. Weather was biblical at times and in particular during darkness, but we did it !, without the help of a support crew it wouldnt be doable safely. At least we got a predominately Southern Wind which really helped
