@@DaddyDaveRacing I bet a high speed camera directly in front of that car with some "for scale lines" while using a hub dyno again would go along way in dialing in the suspension flawlessly! Failing that you could do that with all your cars. Front and side views would make getting the squat and weight transfer because of it far far easier.

@@MrClaypogue If a person knows how a car(suspension) works they don’t need all that fancy stuff to make it work flawlessly.

@@HappyHarryHardon If you feel your better than the equipment you don't actually know what your talking about! F1, NASCAR, etc all use high speed imaging and spend literally MILLIONS of dollars per year to make in some cases sub 1mm changes to the suspension that you cannot do that by eye, feel, and/or because your shade tree thinks you can... Buts its OK someone said something that mentions being dedicated to doing it right the first time so you had to be a keyboard ONE UPPER... Here question for you then why do they use gauges on wheelie bars every time before a launch because they should just hire you to do all the measurements visually because your a god and are flawless............................................................Maybe you can even bring your shade tree with you to the track! you know the burnout box and start lines really really need that shade and temp difference.... OH and I forgot to mention in my original post that it would be for the base setup IE starting with new suspension, because the down force created by the wind speed at the track will causes downward force not visible on a dyno but yes please do tell me how your flawless but failed to mention that extremely important bit but still ran your mouth anyways. Again if you know the down force generated and with a bit of math and a high speed camera you can get the setup nearly flawlessly without ever having smashed a cross bar or oil pan because you stood it on its rear and then slammed it back down because your suspension was wrong or miscalculated by VISUAL setup.

I don't know anyone who would set up a chassis by eye. Also, I can't imagine these guys spending the money and wear and tare on a motor doing dyno pulls just to set up the suspension. Dynos aren't easy on engines and those $100k+ slow-mo cameras aren't cheap. After you get it all set up and go to run it and need to make adjustments, you will only have your hand tools with you anyway. *This is just semi-reality TV not professional racing*

That's a Hub dyno. It allows you to "make a pass" from brake to stripe. The back wheels are off, and the car is mounted to the hub dyno with adapter plates & lug nutz.. I hope that kinda helps. It allows you to dial in your chassis, then you just gotta make small adjustments for wind, street/track, etc. They have a hub dyno in GA. For all my homies in the deep south, it's at vengeance racing. They are a very nice machine to have around! 😎💨
