This video is a golden watch. - the waitress walking past with a tray - the guy on the other table with 147 on his t-shirt - Mink shooting daggers when some people in the bar speak a bit loud - some truly great shots - her sublime cue action - excellent spider recovery shot - the attacking split on the pack very early on - the shot from the cut-back black to get on the two remaining reds - her opponent banging the table with his cue when she makes the ton - the way she lines up the shot on the walk in - her dance of joy when she gets it Top marks Mink (and Hi-End snooker club) you got yourself a new fan
Couldn't have put it better than that, she was amazing given there were distractions from workers passing by and players playing at other tables, and that cute little dance at the end ended the video nicely 👌
Trolls. No snooker fan would ever give a thumbs down to a 147! The pros approve of a 147 even if it's the deciding frame and it eliminates them from the competition. So I can only conclude that it's some weirdo that doesn't like snooker and is just putting a little hate out into the world.
Probably because the thumbnail gives the impression that the video will be more than a club room fixed camera, so people feel misled or underwhelmed. Not the actual snooker or the player.
@@chompette_ True, she's wearing a different shirt in the thumbnail and it's probably from a tournament where the video is like you said, a fixed camera in a club room.
What a superb break, this young woman will be world champion very soon. Her technique is flawless. She has a cue action as good as any male player in the game. Look forward to following her career with interest. 👏👏👏
I'm not a snooker fan but this is the most exciting thing to watch! Thank you to Hi-End Snooker Club for filming and showing this. I read about this on BBC News. :) Well done to Ms Wongharuthai!
Spectacular, loved seeing this! Such composure and bravery, a great cue action, and a lovely little dance to finish things off. Congratulations Nutcharut! 👍
I thought the whole club would be around her when she reached colors. Nevertheless it was great and flawless 147 without any drama or nervous shots. She is confident and humble. Hope to see her on International arena soon.... congratulations Mink.
Oh Mink you're a star, one that lit up my life for a while. I love the little dance you did at the end. I’m amazed at your self control and the calm, cool and collected way you carry yourself around the table. Your snooker brain is remarkable, you played all the right shots with a superb cue action. God Bless you and best wishes for the future
Such an awesome talant. I hope she will soon be playing at the world championship in Sheffield. Cant understand why there is 151 dislikes? What is wrong with people. She is pure talant, skill and beautiful player / person.
@@mohiuzzamanmohi4069 Don't get excited; it just that there is no production value - no score, no commentary, no closeups of that beautiful little girl.
It's not as bad as it looks. No doubt there'll be a few miserable sods who can't handle a girl / woman doing well at a "man's" game, but the vast majority will be down-vote bots.
@@kujasan See. Again first round out against not a very good player. Not even 1st round, she lost in qualification round, which doesnt count as 1st round. And she never has made a century break on main tour, thats not a sign of quality. Zhao Xintong made century breaks in age of 16 and won already two tournaments, and even lost in 2nd round last tournament.
This is simply great. Number of recovery shots & that spider shot & another spider rest shot. Damn, these are real skills testing her abilities to the max! Another few years when she master all the placing to perfection, the female snooker world will see a dominator for a long long while! I'm sure shes gonna be world cham some day!
I love such spectacular achievements.. making history in such a simple, focused and down to earth fashion -- a lovely sight! Hope she goes on to rock snooker at the world stage.
I love how she's so excited. She's so good. I heard one of her friends last week interviewed and she said but just doesn't miss. She's going to be a force to be reckoned with and she already is. I really want to see her do well on the main tour. Women have played in it for years but none have really been super successful. Deanne does an awesome job but I just think but is on a whole other level.
There are now four women on the Main Tour: Reanne Evans,Ng On Yee,Rebecca Kenna and Mink. Though they've yet to make much of an impact on the main tour yet,it's still very early days and are bound to get stronger as they can only gain knowledge and experience from the matches they play.
Congrats on 147. She most be the first woman doing a 147 in history. It was a pleasure watching her and her accuracy is dead in the center the balls never bounce of the cushions.
*Impressive!,* a 147 in a relatively noisy and moving atmosphere is truly breathtaking, albeit uncompetitive. you can really see how much she had to suppress a smile more and more. really great, so consistently played *_and also sometimes with very good recovery_* to the end. without a referee, but with a certainly proud opponent, who kept putting the black ball on the spot again and again _(thank you, buddy!)._
Anyone could play against the worse player in the 🌎 But doing a 147 is way out of our range bless her 🙏 Reason I'm watching this now ?There's a break over here in the 🇬🇧 showing the mixed Doubles .Mink looked so nervous yesterday but to Neil's credit didn't even look at her .What a player she is wow ...not watch snooker in years ,But love the mixed Doubles..Cmon Mink 🇹🇭
*Awesome....another new star is born from Thailand...we all from Malaysia proud with her....hope she will success....from South East Asia...champion in making*
For anyone who thumbed down this video....can you please show some courage & post why, some explanation would be appreciated, I just cannot understand ANY negative towards this. Brilliant stuff from the young girl.
Thanks for the upload. What a treat to watch a brilliant 147. She will be major threat to anyone in the future. Good luck to the young lass and congratulations on a perfect game...
According to a Reddit response, the foul with the pink is five points. Is this correct? What rules apply in practice? Athoritatively, is the 152 or 153 a break or a score? How would it be termed in competition play? What's the diff? Does it really matter? I say, brava & kudos. Buy the lass a pint. And wasn't her pace exquisite! Huzzah!
Awesome break Nutcharut.. Age 19 what a fantastic talent.. Keep up the hard practice and dedication to the game.. Seen alot of your centuries on you tube.. Brilliant effort..
Wow, Congratulations from an Austrian Snooker fan! Aggressive split at the beginning - obviously not too afraid of the opponent - nice shots and awesome nerves and focus. I hope we see much more of you in the future!
Reannne evans should of done this by now. I would love to see this lady play on tv against the top professionals. If she can make a 147 she’s up there with the best. Lovely smooth cue action and she made some tough pots along the way. Nerves kick in a bit knowing your heading for that 147 break which makes every pot that bit harder. Congrats.
Wait, didn't her opponent strike just the pink on his only shot? That'd be a foul and a miss, giving Mink 6 points plus her cueing of 147. This is a 153 break on 11 March 2019.
No. It was a foul. Which you rightly said it gave mink 6 points. But this was not part of her break of 147. If, however she had got a free ball after the foul was committed, i.e she could not hit any red ball on either side THEN she could pot any colour as a red ball followed by another colour and then continue with her break. Potentially giving her a break of 155.
You describe the opponent with "his"!! She is also a girl. Her name is Ms Waratthanun Sukritthanes, the winner of 2018 IBSF World Snooker Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 of the World Women's Snooker World Ranking. You can find out more about her by cut and paste her name on Wikipedia.
That black to open the pack perfect,thisnisn1 of the best I've seen honest,so measured in her game, love watching her, natural talent you cnt buy the ability she has..
Appreciate the skill involved in scoring 147, however should her score not have been 153 since her opponent fouled on the pink ball giving her the opening to score the max.
At the time of posting there are 168 dislikes. I would be pleased to hear a reason from all 168 of you why you disliked the video. The young lady showed a streak of brilliance to make the shots she did - as others have already pointed out.
Congrats Miss Mink !! T hat was an amazing effort , pure brilliant world-class snooker !! Watch out boys , you gonna see a lot more of this fantastic woman clearing tables !! And the first one is always the toughest , now when she have made it , she have proofed that there is more where that came from , there is no doubt about it !!! Cheers….
Her place in history recorded , unlike John Spenser who would of been the first to have done a television 147, but for the TV crew where on a tea break in 1979 , and was playing Steve Davis when he done it in 1982.
You can argue about the larger club table pockets but that was a supreme maximum. Nothing rattled, all seemed to pot dead centre. Her opponent was almost as impressive in his spirit. Either he never gave up hope or somebody glued the cue to his hand!
Club tables tend to have larger pockets but in a lot of the clubs I go to the good/professional players are playing on star tables with pockets the same (if not tighter) than you'd see on TV. Not sure what table this one is but the camera angle does a lot to make those bottom pockets look larger. Although that all said they don't look super tight. Just amazing maximum break nonetheless. I am in awe.
Is there an actual reason why men and woman cannot compete at Snooker at a professional level together? I would love to see this. Obviously there are disadvantages for woman against men in certain sports...but snooker should be all inclusive in my opinion. This was an epic video btw....great player.
