Byd want to change lane then saw a car approaching on the left so driver swerve to the right. Malaysian car got shocked try to avoid and lose control. Nothing to do with road rage or who vs who. Byd need to accelerate more to change lane or stay in lane till lane is clear . Malaysian car drive fast with no safe distance.
EVs have instant torque but BYD driver cannot press accelerator to merge in front of Proton because it might break his BYD. Stepping on accelerator too hard will break your car. Everyone knows that! Camry lacks skills in his own way, oversteered and braked at the wrong time, causing his car to pinball between 3 lanes.
Never accelerate and assume the car will clear the lane. Wait until the car completely siam then accelerate. A lot of cars return to lane, when they suddenly see blind spot haven’t clear.
Funny how all blaming BYD but the first part of the video BYD was filtering left but the cam car is still accelerating and getting closer to BYD. Maybe BYD driver think unsafe to finish lane change so go back to his original lane. It’s not wrong to stop lane change when it’s unsafe. Camry driver just stupid to overtake a lane changing car so closely when the 1st lane is clear and he can use it to overtake
of course blame BYD lah...NB. As a road user, you should have assess the situation before making a move. Once you've decided do it, mai ai mai ai mai...FH.
@@ysngngys7753 so you won’t talk about the cam car speeding up when he clearly see BYD signal and trying to filter. It’s clear when BYD starting to filter the cam car is a distance behind but the cam car speed up at the same time. BYD driver just doing defensive driving by going back to his lane. While Camry simply speed up to overtake then the BYD is still in the same lane as him with no defensive driving. Are you telling me while you are changing lane a dangerous situation arise you cannot abort the lane change and should just stick to it instead? Lol
BYD (as many drivers in Singapore) enters left lane first then look out for lane's traffic condition. Driver should look first then turn, not the other way
the BYD driver is quite skilful, in that he managed to swerved left to avoid getting hit by the out of control Camry, and still can regain control. Maybe the electronic nannies were triggered as well to keep the car stable. Camry followed too close and only know how to drive fast straightly, and esp didn't work.
My guess is Camry's ESP/Stability Control worked to avoid oversteer but the driver's inputs after that were incorrect which conflicted the system. It's surprising how agile BYD was though.
he most likely wanted to give way, then gancheong when he noticed first cam car still in his blindspot and swerved back. Msian drivers always seem to have problem with gauging distances. why must stick so close in first place? cannot overtake from Lane 1?
Singapore drivers are known to die in road accidents in other countries. Tail gate is not exclusive to Malaysia. I got hit from the back twice in Singapore. Driving from Jurong to ubi everyday, almost every day there's traffic accident someone langgar the car Infront due to tail gating - cos little damage but ppl get down car to nego. I kena langgar before too. traffic jam 40-50km/hr also want to tailgate and then hit my car when fail to brake
i feel all 3 at fault. 1st camcar driver: See the byd and then still accelerate somemore byd: signalled left but went right abruptly, should have sped up to ensure he can cut into the camcar lane safely. should have also stopped together with the camry, check if camry driver is ok camry: tailgate too close, leading to him losing control of the car when byd did lane change abruptly. based on what i see, all 3 parties are at fault. any objections, pls reply down here.
Malaysian driving style,.like to tailgate. The many accidents in Malaysia caused by tailgating. No surprise the Camry lost control. It is a Toyota, the floaty feeling with zero handling.
Emosi yg merugikan dan membahayakan diri sendiri,, mengalah bukan semestinya kalah,, tpi sngt bermakna jika dapat sejukkan emosi marah dengan cepat,, bismillah first😊😊❤
That’s right we’re the best WE’RE THE BEST SG number 1 WE LOVE LAWRENCE WE LOVE LEE! I hope you’re Singaporean. If you’re Malaysian get the f o here. Hahaha.
when lane 1 is clear and dont wanna over take? seems like cam car hate SG car and wanna tail gate it for fun. Byd just baited u into a kan cheong spider. Play stupid game win stupid prize.
Both drivers cannot make it. Camry overcompensated on the steering and brakes. Atto 3 typical Singaporean driver allergic to 1) being in the slow lane, 2) being same lane as any other car so MUST have his own lane and 3) allergic to using the accelerator to just go just a little bit faster and merge into lane 3 in front of Proton the 1st cammer.
I think the BYD itself 'refuse' to change line because of the sensor detect car behind, it will automatically turn the wheel to avoid car behind. Still, who in the right mind try to tailgate that close and start to accelerate when the car in front mostly still on the way? Right line is empty, why don't just go there?
Australia have a commendable road laws. If the driver flashes the left signal, the Left driver have to makr way for the front dtiver to cut in. This will avoid accident. Look at vidro above upon the BYD flashes the Left Signal light. The left car refused to allow him to cut in and there ehere the problem started.
First the Camry followed too close especially at that high speed + that BYD don't know what their problem with all that space in front and could have speed up and change lane😅.And the final verdict Camry owner have to pay all the damages themselves.
Both are inexperienced in terms of safe driving, regardless of who's right or wrong here. One shouldn't return to their lane that rashly, assuming no inexperienced driver would try to "overtake". One other is simply too close believing nothing is going to happen beyond their ability to avoid things that could happen in the future like what the BYD did.
Malaysians always like to tailgate on highways…hope they learn from this video. Singaporeans need to know how to be extra careful on Malaysia roads…it’s a bigger world outside.
"Singapore drivers are better because cannot bribe to get license". SGD 3,000 license vs MYR 500 license. 10X the price, 1.2X the driving ability/skills at best.
@@DoktorKek please. It is known when we see SG cars on MY highway don't get too close because you people drive like bastards due to inexperience driving on highway and on high speeds. Don't bring your island driving culture to the mainland, learn from us like how we adjust and follow your road culture when on your island. Especially the kiasu culture shown by the red car is a no no on MY road. If u are unlucky u will not only get beaten up by the road side, you will get beaten up again inside the police station. 😁
So now we see the full picture. Actually the Camry driver "overreacted" when the BYD driver moved back in lane (assuming safety systems were activated and the BYD Driver drove defensively when it's lane assist system was triggered). Both tried to drive defensively, but in the law of physics, the tyres on the Camry did not hold up strong and thus the driver over corrected and ended up in the barriers. Camry driver has to suck thumb and pay for his own repairs; lucky for the BYD driver, has an array of systems to keep him "planted" on the road
Looks like BYD safety lane assist, owners will know. Btw, white car damn impatient, wants to cut into a lane side by side when the car in that lane is is only 1/4 switching out. Poor judgement and car handling skills + impatient
Camry at fault. Too close. Furthermore, if the Camry wants to overtake, should have taken farthest right lane, bukan accelerate while car in front was changing lane.
nah i blame BOTH,cuz when you wanted to changing lane, you need confident enough, make sure you get a green light or perhaps accelerating more iinstead pondering whether should you,or should you not wanting changing lane....give a signal first, look at the side miror make sure you capable to changing lane, and confidently changing lane....dont give a signal and at the same time changing lane only to realized there is a car near you and you have to avoid that car and unintentionally causing chaos on the road, thank god everybody okay.... the camry also at fault, cuz it drives to close,no safe distance whatsoever...maybe after saw singaporean perhaps, and ego kick in maybe?
Lane 3 car tried to cut off lane 2 car from filtering left. Typical spore/ Malaysia driver style. Red car took evasive action to avoid collision. White car suffered collateral damage from lane 3 car selfish driving
Everyone only blaming the sg driver but both are in the wrong here. Why the f would you tailgate so closely to the point you cannot slow down in time? Tailgater was going way too fast and too close.
Following so closely on a highway? There's a good reason why rules state that separation should increase with speed -- perhaps something many drivers don't understand or bother... hence it's not rare that we see cars entering our lane almost in front of us even on highways. So remember... separation + ABS is your lifeline.
The problem is Malaysia law on Road already long outdated from the 1950s where Bullocks Cart are common. Further witj kopi o license, a lot dont know the road laws. Its about time Malaysia afoot Australia road legal system. Assuredly they failed Australia road laws if they have Malaysia mindset. Malaysia is one of the high fatalities road cases in the world.
1st Camcar is at fault. Drive fast while Byd atto try to filter. 2nd camcar is at fault. No safe distance and also wth is he doing at 2nd lane with that speed? Should have drive on first lane earlier.
Don't understand how some people get their license... Since when you maintain your speed to switch lanes? Failed your BTT and FTT? It clears states to accelerate to change lane or slow down let the vehicle go past you then change lane. A lot of losers these days cannot drive, a simple lane changing also cannot do I wonder how this fellow does parallel parking. And then there's the Malaysian car who wants to teach this BYD a lesson but end up becoming a joke himself.
Absolutely agree. BYD's driver should move left in the first place when it started the signal light to the left. Crazyly it did not go to the left instead to the right.
Fact is BYD signaled left, but the left vehicle (1st car pov) accelerated which caused the BYD to swerve back. Fact is the white camry is tailgating so near at such speeds ... the camry driver can only blame himself to be tailgating. clearly there was enough space to overtake on the right at the get go ...
Very surprising that a FWD sedan like a Camry can spin out of control with such low CG, must be shitty tyres on the Camry for it not to be able to handle these kinds of manoeuvre. Joker forgot he cheaped on on tyres and still wants to play antics.
Byd hesitant, slow on highway. Make sudden steer. Lousy driver unclear where wanna go. Camry just follow too closed, got shocked by byd sudden steer, lousy driver don't know to tackle the situation and own car.
