Yeah... Insufferable sun at day and windy rains in the afternoon, you always have to go out prepared for anything. But the sunsets and sundowns are so beautiful...
Parks and plazas are free obviously. Teleférico costs 5$ Basílica is 2$ Most of Central Market meals are 3 to 5$ La Ronda and Plaza Foch have spots with various prices but are kinda dangerous at night. Craft beer tours would be the most expensive... What is missing is the old town "Centro Histórico", my favorite Parque Metropolitano, and there are some nightlife spots around Tumbaco, Cumbaya, Guapulo and La Alameda that are very good and varied. In short, is a wild, unique city.
