I clicked on this because I thought the license plate device was a programmable screen that let you display whatever plate you wanted...James Bond style.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The "Fox Vault" (first item shown with the safe behind the tag) was nothing more than grand theft of everyone who backed that project. I was one of the people they stole money from and I'm not even sure how that link still works because the person that was doing it disappeared and stopped communicating with anyone! The link to the item needs to be removed from this video so others don't get scammed as well!!!!
6:28 I'm not so sure I would have piece of mind with this on my roof. My dashcam also uses "vacuum technology" to attach to my windshield, but it has fallen off countless times... 😕
That Carsifi caught my attention as I hate plugging in my phone every time I get in the car, but then I saw the price tag and was like I can live plugging in a wire every time.
The downside is that it emits harmful EMF radiation and so does bluetooth.; also the EMF radiation is trapped inside the vehicle with you making it more intense. It's safer & more reliable to hardwire and use shielded cables.
@@davelowets well it probably isn't that harmful but it still effects you a bit (probably unnoticeable) you can search case studies on it, world health org classified emf as possibly harmful to humans.
@@PerennialWheat "Possibly" is the key word here. There are MUCH bigger things, that slowly kill us all on a daily basis, than to worry about something so trivial. Like the people who bitch about cell phones or "5G death beams", but then have Wi-Fi, cordless land line phones, a stereo, and a huge satellite dish in their front yard. It's dumb, really.
The license plate safe looks like an excellent way to hide contraband. It’s not inside the car, so there’d be little chance of it being found, as long as you took care of the smell.
I can foresee lawsuits if ever the suction cup loses suction and the carried materials hits the car behind! I would never ever buy that! A Micro scratch can cause suction cups to lose suction!
Suction cups always lose their suction if left on for too long. It would've been smarter if they had safety straps that clip on under the roof by the doors, like the old school roof racks.
The "I-Ball" camera. Any truck built after 2008 will likely have a back up camera. Trucks especially have the camera aimed in a way that it sees the trailer hitch. I have a 2008 Escalade EXT and it's factory camera has the perfect angle when I am backing into my trailer. That product is only needed for older trucks.
I've been backing up to trailers with work trucks for 25 years. Never needed no stinkin camera. It got to the point where I can look through the back window or side mirrors, back the truck up til it lightly bumps the ball on the hitch, pull forward a few inches, and everything is completely lined up the first time when I get out. I did this once with my old man in the truck, and he was impressed. He said "I can see you've been doing this for FAR too long". This was his way of giving you a compliment.
Nope, back up cams are just optional. I personally think they're useless and it's just another thing that will break and lower the value of my vehicle in the long run.
I-ball cam is really handy, most of the time anyone with enough experience can nail it the first time, I bought it because as the spring thaw comes and the ground softens you don't get second chances if your off, now I have an f150 that's aluminum and this thing won't work, so now I stick on shop wall so I can bach camper into it's little hibernating spot with a birds eye view and the wife's not yelling go right when I need to go left, we also stick it inside horse trailer and keep eye on horses while transporting, it can get a little fuzzy doing this but you can still see what's going on, so many uses other than backup camera
I have the jump starter pack (4:42). It has saved me so much time and money. It works for motorcycles, too. Just be aware that it loses charge after a while of sitting dormant
Not sure why you would include something that comes installed in a vehicle. The MBUX is not an item you can purchase and stick in any 🚗. That was just a waste of time and effort on your part...and ours.
5:31 this is so silly and waste of money. Newer cars have proximity sensors and parking assist. And even a string and tennis ball can do this or even make a marking on side of garage. Basically many options that saves you money and not accidentally blind you with laser beam.
Waste of money? A can of tennis balls costs more than one of these does. I picked up a motion sensing garage parking laser for $4 in the bargain bin at my local hardwate store. Came with a plug-in wall-wart OR battery option. Much better than having that stupid ball and string wrapping around my neck when I'm working in my garage. It wont "blind you" if you have it aimed properly either.
*_I genuinely believe that all food delivery companies like DoorDash & Postmates should give all their drivers that glove box bag seatbelt, like it should just be standard issue_*
I would legit use that license plate item to avoid getting caught by traffic cameras. Just use the app to drop it open if you're trying to cross while the light is yellow. (And all you safety monitors, I really don't wanna hear it cuz we're all guilty) so loosen up that cape a little bit.
I've had a similar car vac for years. They work OK for smaller vehicles like motorcycles but take too long to adequately dry a car. Mine sits mostly unused nowadays.
As a detailer, I'd only use that dryer thing to blow water from area that my microfiber towels can't reach, like in the cracks between the light housing and the body or blow water from behind the side mirrors. If I wanted to blow dry my entire car, I'll get like an electric leaf blower lol
I found the BigBoi works if your car has a ceramic coat on it. Then it dries it very fast with no need of towels or scratches, it even gets into the cracks and behind the trim. But they don’t work on a car without that extra layer of protection.
Emergency led sucks I have one and it discolored from the sun. It broke So now when a just tap it it shuts down from the smallest hit. Like placing it on top of the car
Very disappointing!! Got me all excited about and wanting the hyperscreen he implies it's available for multiple cars, truth is only comes in a certain model of mercedes .
$150 for what is basically a snow scrapper (Snoshark). Ridiculous. Took an extendable window squeegee, added a "paddle" and for $15 the same tool (minus the windshield scrapper - purchased separately for $4.00.
Wrong. Many current garage door openers have a battery back-up in them that will still allow it to work if the A.C. power goes out. Mine is almost 5 years old, and has the battery back-up.
@@stephans1990 If that happens, then I could see it being an issue. Hopefully the software in it wouldnt allow someone to be able to remotely open it when it's in motion. As far as manually opening it, and leaving it down, its probably faster to go out there and bend your plate up to hide it without the device.
@@geosciencenerd YOU asked... 🙄 Edit: MANY garage door openers also have a battery back-up, and WILL still open with the remote if the A.C. power is out
@@davelowets the best part of this is your inability to see the levity in my original comment. Maybe you're one of those "let me straighten this out for ya" types who can't help but to intervene.... As long as it is a subject you can handle, amirite??? Amirite???
Ya made me realize you were over hyping and exaggerated when ya said that battery pack can jumpstart a car up to 35 times. I doubt even a slightly undercharged motorcycle battery could get 35 jumps from that.
I don't consider products that are made for literally only one car.....a car gadget. The 2 different dash things, like the mbux hyperscreen......they are designed for only for one car or one car brand. You're not gonna put the hypersceen in your toyota corolla, it's not a car gadget, it's more like a package option from the dealership.
