I just love you and your daughters videos. I too have suffered a great loss. Our middle son was killed in a car accident in March. I remember what you went through at the loss of your husband ( God rest his soul). You are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for being you.
I love how you always share your paper with us. I love paper too. If I'd start making journals till I used up ALL my paper, it take me years. I've making bookmarks, tags the most..
Inspired by you and Gayle, I'm making many journals hopefully to sell on my "theoretical" Etsy shop that I'm too shy/scared to open (;() and I need to do a mass pocket and tag make, so this is perfect timing. That rose journal is gorgeous!!!
Jamie Mueller I thought your comment was mine. I did a double take and thought I had already commented. Soo could have been me with my "theoretical " Etsy store! 😆 🤣
That is fantastic. Just do it! What can it hurt? You have to take a chance, if you don't who will. I know you can, you just have to believe in yourself.
You have great ideas, thank you for the inspiration. I like your glue stopper but can’t find it and don’t want to use the dangles and charms they are cute just too much for my liking.
That sheer green fabric looks like florist fabric... the fabric that is around bouquets of flowers at the store! It will be awesome when you reach 100k!!!
I've been making pockets and tags. I enjoy watching your videos. I even go back and watch older ones Thanks for the inspiration. 🤗🤩 And thanks Katie for the freebies 🤩
E, as always, just a bunch of wonderful little 'goodies'! Because of you, I throw so much less out. I now look at things and say 'I'm sure I can do something with this'! TFS!
Thank you Katie, for sharing with us your beautiful ephemera. I will use it gladly. Thank you again. And to you too Edith for sharing . You make me laugh and smile so much. Lov always to you both, Lin
Great reminders of different pockets. I've been enjoying the different ways to make envelopes too. I wish I knew people locally who liked making junk journals. Most of my circle of friends quilt, sew or make greeting cards. TFS 🤗
Thank you for teaching a variety of pockets with the different materials. This was a helpful video! I enjoy watching you, and this is a video I'll return to again and again for mass makes! TFS
FYI If only one subcontractor that day was using the front door it is the subcontractors insurance company that should pay for your new door. That's why they have insurance. You should not be paying for it or for the installation. If two different subcontractors may be responsible still try and work with your contractor for a settlement. At the very least see if you you can get the door installed for free.
Love the easy pockets. I have a thing for pockets too. I don't have much to decorate them with yet, but love making them. :) Thanks for sharing different ways to create them! Oh and I really love your little 'label' storage booklet. Adorable. You've probably got a tutorial on how you made it, I'm thinking? I'll look for it.
I would love to make them, but I just simply don't have the time. I do have a step by step tutorial on how they are made in my playlist ephemera journals.
I love all these ideas, but I'm new to all this. I guess I don't understand why you need a backing to the pocket or are the things that are single ply and glued on three sides not considered pockets and do you call them something else? I don't understand the point of having a back to the pockets. What am I missing? Although I do love the looks of these.
This is just another way to make pockets, you can use these pockets as flips in your journal whereas you couldn't use the ones that have no back as a flip. If you have a design that you don't want to "loose", then make the pocket like this and then use it in your journal as a flip, that way you see both sides and still have a pocket.
