My favorite thing about your videos is when you say No Biggie. Its a good reminder that it isn’t a big deal. You can always disguise it or ignore it. I find myself saying it when I mess up. I love the book.
This book cover is awesome !!! I like the way you took the pieces that you cut from the corners and glued them back into the corners. Many people have issues with corners. This solves evert one of them. Thank you !! I love the double tag its really cute. The little fox completes it !!
Hi E, I wanted to say that I really appreciate you using kits like these, because of scrapbooking I have a lot of this paper packs. I love to see what you come up with and can't wait to try it out myself. ☺️❤️❤️❤️
That journal cover is a very handsome cover. One of the best yet. Just so good looking and tasteful. It has a tailored look to it, that we don’t necessarily see in all the other beautiful journal covers. Really different. Super job!
Truly amazing project you make projects out of anything you have, I love watching you and looking forward to the next stage , again thanks for all your projects yo have really kept us busy and happy during this Auful time god bless you and your family blessing x ❤️😘
Love the cover so far. I'm enjoying watching you craft as you go. The tags cute. Excited to see the rest of the process. Thanks so much for sharing freebies with us. God bless.
This journal is great. That cover looks like tooled leather. Beautiful! On the subject of owls, I've got this story. I went on a field trip with one of my daughters' classes to a nature preserve. A fellow came out with a large owl perched on his outstretched arm, to give a little talk to the children. There was limited space so I stood behind the fellow, directly behind the owl. All of a sudden that owl swiveled his head around 180 degrees and stared right at me! I almost wet my pants. That was unnerving! It's too creepy that they can even do that. Anyway, thanks for sharing the beginning of this journal. Can't wait to see what else you do with it!
Thank you very much for the pocket templates. Try as I might, my pockets are always crooked on one side or the other. These should solve that problem!!
I think you mean "hellosusan" on Etsy. I had to laugh at your comments about the dictionary pages. One lady I was watching spent so much time on a piece and it was really pretty, but smack dab in the middle, framed out by the other objects she had put on was the word "phallus" haha. I was waiting for her to notice it but she never did and I just died thinking about who would end up with that. Great video!
I walked to the PO also on Wed and didn’t remember until I got there! Dummy me! We had just gotten home from enjoying a generous free meal for Veterans......which hubby and I both are! Lol. So don’t even think twice about forgetting. We all get in our routines and sometimes forget.
I just happen to have a couple smash books that never got smashed !! Lol ! Time to make those beautiful!! Thank you so much for the pocket freebies ! Getting colder here in SE Kansas. Really setting off a fibromyalgia flair up. 🥺
@@bigmommasandymoore2531 Thank you so much Sandy ! That is what set off this flair up. Upper 70s one day next day 30s. I knew it was coming before the weather man !!! Lol !! Predicto body here ! Good at predicting rain, snow and weather changes !
E, ask your hairdresser to wash your hair after your haircut instead of before. That helps me with those tiny hairs that itch like crazy.. Love what you did with the cover of this journal.
Do you have measurements for your Smash cover?! I am making a journal from an old Golden board board book. 10”x8 1/2” .Its calling for large tear outs with spine fold intact. Glueing sheets onto sheets. As I want large sheets.
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS Thankyou for not referring me to parts i missed before commenting! I happen to be working on a 10” height one too! I like your thoughts on allowing for gesso etc!!
You are truly amazing. I’m still unwell, 11 months, I was able to sleep. 4- At least. Did you hear about “glitter glue” and no longer selling, I’m Going to attempt to get ahold of them tomorrow,
I really just wish I could see the usefulness of these journals. They look nice, but I just don't see the appeal, nor do I understand how they are used.
I do a lot of inking and when I have a darker spot on a cover I find to embrace the difference, it could be oils or creams from our fingers that change the color or deepen it, but that is all part of inking, I found that mixing a couple of colors sometimes helps also. i found expresso and walnut give an old book effect the tea seems to give it vintage aging looking, the light colors like the vintage photo then take a tea or an expresso and touch the edges a bit. Love everything you do. But you taught me this. Thank you
Thanks Miss E for using my Pastel Autumn Kit in your journal and doing such a pretty job!! Thank you Sunny Smile for helping Miss E with my etsy shop name hellosusan.
Susan, I am so sorry I got your Etsy name wrong. I have no clue where I got oh Susan lol. Names are just not my thing. I love the papers and I have had quite a few let me know that they have purchased. Hope it has helped you out. I have to go look for those kits and get more I have used up all you sent me in the last few projects. Thanks so much.
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS We got it worked out...You are such an inspiration to me and I appreciate you and all you do! I am very happy with all you have done and you have the best subscribers! You are so welcome.
I just knew I was keeping my Smash Book cover for a reason. LOL. My only problem is mine is huge 11 X 13 inches. I am thinking it would be great for either an ephemera folder or to make a journal for all the memorabilia I have from a trip to Italy. The city maps are too big for a regular journal and I did not really want to fold them. Also, I love what you did with the front cover. The inking looks great and brings out the pattern beautifully. TFS
My JJ friend. I have been searching for things I loved. I’ve wanted to Create “All things pink & lavender colors .” Thank you, for sharing your thoughts and prayers.Hugs @ blessings & dear prayers
I’ve tried to find Oh Susan not can’t - maybe I’m not searching in the correct way on Etsy - can you show the link to her please - loved this video - going to be a fab project when finished
Love this, E! And you out did yourself on our kits this month. I just finished putting together the signatures for my son’s Advent Journal but just wanted a little something for a few pages and some of the die cuts will be perfect! I had the idea of making this with a pocket or tuck for 25 days, a tiny journal, matchbook, or flip out for each pocket and a Scripture for each day. Then he can write a little something in the little pages. It’s turning out so cute. Just have to put the cover on which I’m going to use some muslin I think and batting. Then I can sew some little cut outs and clusters on - at least that’s the plan. He will be here on Thanksgiving so I have little time to make it. Just wanted to share that. And some of the things in the kit will help finish it off! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much! 🥰
