I started dropshipping 2 years ago and it pretty much takes as much work as building a professional business. It took me 5 months to get my first sale but you just have to stick to it and be dedicated. I eventually stopped a year later as my niche was too specific so there was not a large enough customer base but it's not a complete loss as the experience taught me valuable marketing skills and now I have been able to start my own media company. Moral of the story: Never give up and if you have no choice but to count your losses, every failure is a valuable lesson.
I did dropshipping 3 years ago. I got the best products from a site Modalyst. I didn't sell much directly from my site but mostly on eBay. I never was able to get much traffic despite using Google ads. The most serious issue was some suppliers will screw u and not ship when they say they will and makes your business looks bad. It's a gamble allowing others to ship for you. Some are very consistent and reliable and others will embarrass u and leave u hanging to explain to your customer why they don't have what they paid for. It can work but need reliable shippers.

Starting with something that interests you is actually a good place to start. You should never ever sell a product you're not knowledgeable about and something that interests you is typically something you also know a bit about. People will pay $$$ for product knowledge and it makes the markup look much more justified. Do people want to buy dirt cheap goods from another country with poorly written descriptions, shady reviews and 100+ identical looking listings and suppliers? They'd rather spend a few extra dollars going through someone they can talk to easily who's already found the right one to buy.

To answer your question Aluxa, I don't really think drop shipping is appealing. I've been familiar with this topic before I watched this video. But after watching you throw those numbers, I really don't want to put my efforts and especially time into drop shipping. I'm now more concentrated on learning real estate and stocks. I'd be glad if you do videos on these topics. And if you already did, so many thanks to you guys. The men vs boys video was so informative and I'm happy that I checked almost all boxes. Dropshipping is simply a way of making fast money in a short amount of time depending on how successful or how much money you have in order to play the game. Dropshipping simply is not long term :( keep in mind most dropshipped products are made of low quality and may result in very extreme returns or chargebacks !

When buying through " Dropshipping " companies / stores / outlets , remember : IF after getting your product you are dis-satisfied with the item , can you talk to " anybody " that's a warm body to deal with your problem ?? What IF - you never receive the ordered product / -s .... who are you going to complain about this ? In a " dispute " the Payment Processor will make you jump a lot of hoops -- not worth the hassle .... No matter how good the product , if you can't find it - in regular / specialty store - - then the product might not be as good as advertised ....
When I was eighteen I worked for FedEx Ground in East Oakland California, a lot of times I worked from 2:00p.m until 4:00a.m I am sure shipping is a whole lot more work than it sounds like.
Someone, please explain this to me. When you promote a product on your store from Aliexpress and someone buys it. Do you then go back to the Aliexpress page where you got the product and just put in the information in (house address and so on) of the buyer?? How does this work??
Yes you can do this from starting from dropshipping and as you scale your brand, private label the product and trademark ™️ it. Once you do that you can keep stock in a local warehouse and be able to improve products to increase value (packaging, performance enhancements, faster shipping times)
I’m surprised this video didn’t mention anything about having to do lots of legal work, sales taxes and applying for all sorts of business licenses etc. i thought about dropshipping but I got turned off by all the taxes and and stuff u have to go through
I'm constantly getting ads for dropshipping webinars. They all say the same thing. They all have testimonials. Their method is the easiest. Not sure who to believe.
Its all about being in a process. Process till u find your winning product. Process till u find your audience. When we have both at its place. Hit the homerun again and again. Till that process end. Or maybe u are pro now. 😅
