Awesome classic set of darts and great review. I like the front loaded design with a small scallop in the middle of the barrel! Great find and stroke of luck on your part.

In my collection i have every weight of Priestleys Winmau range including all the Gold ones. In my experience i found the 17g and 19g sets harder to come by. I love them all anyway 😍

True about the 17's and 19's. I've only seen the 17's come up for sale once in about the past 5 years. Never seen the 19's for sale.

I got 2 sets of 19s. One set of 17. One set of 15.

WOW you are indeed blessed to have both of those sets in your collection, would love to try them but very limited success with front loaded darts. Tried Hankeys a while back and they were hitting the board at 45 degrees

Got a bit lucky with both sets to be fair. I was prepared to spend a lot of money on the gold ones but thankfully they went cheap (ish). I did drop about $85usd on them from eBay on the other side of the world

I got the 19’s. I love em. They fly so smooth for me, and so easy for me to grip exactly the same each time. I was gifted them by a friend. Didn’t know they were fairly desirable. I’m just about to buy a set of the 25g’s…

Man, I love the priestley's as well as you do. In my collection of the 'world champion series Softtip Darts' (Gold & normal 16/18/20g) only both 18g still missing 🤷🏼‍♂️

For me, simply because something is "rare" or hard to find does not make the dart more desirable, since I'm more of a player, not a collector.

You know I'm NOT a collector right? I mentioned at the start of the throwing demo why I wanted them. They're one of the nicest front loaded darts on the market. They also happen to be extremely rare.

Keep hold of these ones WW, don’t make the same mistake again, I’m sure a lot of us have done what you did, as in getting rid of a set, then wanting them again some years later, I’m happy for you tho, classic set of legendary darts you got yourself there, well done for hunting them down Sherlock haha 👍🎯

Believe it or not I brought a set of these darts in 19g from eBay many years back and the actually have red and gold grooves in them! I think they had been modified, they are a natural tungsten barrel.. lovely darts 🎯👍🙂

There is something that makes it so much more fun throwing a lighter barrel. I used some of my old 26g darts recently & played probably 20% better, but man it's just so much more entertaining throwing 21s or 18s or whatever the weights. Feel like you need to aim a bit smarter too. Smallest adjustments with a light dart could make a bit difference. I threw my 26g like Bully Boy or MVG just bam bam bam.

Serious question here.. Does anyone else have MULTIPLE bounce outs of bullseye and triple's on their Winmau Blade 6 darts board? My club members and I are having ridiculous amounts of bounce outs from the Blade 6 darts board we have...

YES! I've tried to tell a lot of people about how Winmau dropped the ball with the Blade 6 board. It's way too soft and I've got a few bounce out myself. Their Blade 5 boards were incredible but sadly the Blade 6 isn't good at all
