macro cosmos took silvally from aether foundation, ghetsis's eyepatch was probably developed by colress, and because colress has a all-steel team it's likely colress works for MC as a admin like oleana as most evil teams have 2+ admins and 1 leader. on colress's team plazma uniform colress sports a white hectagonal motiff on his belt, the same as chairman rose's.
You are wrong on that Omanyte was extict, in one of the Gen 1 Ash tryes to stop team rocket for exploding a canyon, they get stuck in that cave being watched by lots of kabuto, kabutops, omanyte, and omastar. so they thought they were extict, but never were, but hidden from Humanity.
It's always been a theory of mine that the fossil Pokemon are rock type. Aerodactyal was originally dragon and its mega is spikes from its dragon body but since it is still technically a fossil
Another fun fact, Hop's starter now Gmax's so he fed it some max soup during his time in the isle of armour. It was a normal dynamax in your battle against him at the end of the main game. I believe he's also the only trainer with multiple GMax's with his starter as well as Corviknight. Also Avery and Klara's daily rematch will update after you compete in the Galarian Star Tournament to be slightly higher lvl and include Galarian Slowking.
"Because some omanyte managed to escape after being restored or are released into the wild by people, this species is becoming a problem" Masuda Breeders: *whistling nonchalantly & backing up slowly*
Fun fact, but unsure if someone else has already mentioned it: the suffix -trier in the horse's name is taken from the name Destrier, a type of War Horse used in medieval times. Usually used to carry knights and similar noble types, its safe to assume that as Calyrex is the King of Bountiful Harvests, that's what they were aiming for. Also judging by the shape of the body plus the long mane, its design is similar to that of the Friesian, which is an unsubtle pun, given the location you're in
Fun fact: If you talk to the carbink in the mayor of freezing ton's house where you learn about the iceboat and shade root carrots, the carbink says "carat" as in a reference to the fact carbink is a diamond and also the carrots for the legendary horses! I found that really cool
Crazy idea about Aerodactyl: The in-game trainers haven't put it together yet, but Mega Aerodactyl is the original version. Modern Aerodactyl is a man-made revision of the original. While it is alive, it doesn't have the power, or infinity energy, that used to run through it's veins when it was a natural species. When scientists were attempting mega evolution on random pokemon to see what happened before the science was fully adapted, and it probably worked on Aerodactyl. That "mega evolution" probably worked more like primal reversion and reset it to it's original primal state, but because it isn't a natural lifeform anymore, it can't hold the change for any longer than one battle. The only hole to my idea is the Aerodactylite. Why does it even exist? Every other pokemon gets a whole new form, so why would it just restore Aerodactyl? I'm not really sure. Perhaps the transformation was discovered in Ferrum (from pokken) with a synergy move, and scientists retroactively made it into a mega stone? If scientists figured out how to concentrate the energy for themselves, that could also explain why the mewtwonites exist. Well, that's my theory, anyway.
Aerodactyl's mega dex entry literally says that mega evolution restored all its genes, meaning that mega aerodactyl is what it looked like in prehistoric times
I don't know. I think that maybe it might actually have been a dragon pokemon... maybe even the ancestor to Charizard and Dragonite and Zubat... the Mega probably just increases the rock energy in it instead...
@Salazzle Surprise It also says that mega evolution awakened dormant genes, which suggests its still not a perfect representation of it's original form. Who knows what effects the original changes to it's genes may have had.
My interpretation of the Aerodactyl thing is that it was accepted somewhat recently that most, if not all, dinosaurs likely had feathers. Perhaps the Aerodactyl, Tyrantrum, Aurorus, Shieldon and Rampardos of ancient times had feathers, but the restoration process wasn’t perfect and the feathers were left behind
Aerodactyl is based on pterosaurs like pterodactyl though. Pterosaurs weren't actually dinosaurs, they were a separate evolutionary line and likely did not have feathers. It's even thought that part of why pterosaurs went extinct is that feathers actually gave early birds a big advantage and the pterosaurs couldn't compete. It does mean though that giant lizards evolved flight twice which is just amazing.
Pterosaurs aren't dinos, they aren't closely related to birds. No feathers. They were covered in "pycnofibers"- it was like hair, but not the same structure as mammel hair.
@@ossoffwarnockjan.5th413 idk if you’ve been keeping up with recent developments, but it was suggested at the end of 2018 that pterosaur pycnofibres are homologous to dinosaurian feathers and protofeathers
I’ve got a thing you missed in this video. When you first arrive to Galatians Star Tournament, Klara/Avery reveal to you and Hop that they are now a full time gym leader (albeit in the minor leagues)
@@onepieceking1770 I'm obsessed with the characters for Swsh, I realllyy hope this is what we get in late 2022 or early 2023 or smth even though Legends Arceus is coming out the same year
oh OH THAT MEANS WORLD TREE!! And hold on! Ygdrassil didn't just have a giant squirrel, it also had a giant bird at the top and a giant worm at the bottom! The legendary birds totally have the bird covered! WE NEED TO CHECK THAT TREE FOR ZYGARDE!
7:57 if I believe I’m pretty sure some where they said that mega Aerodactyl is actually how it looked like originally in ancient times so this dex entry could be a reference to that
According to my head cannon, the reason team flare and team plasma accessories are in the max lair is because they came out from the ultra wormhole above. Also the reason why there are so many legendaries/ultra beasts in there. They don't normally dwell in that cave. They came from other worlds.
So I guess the chronology is like this -Mustard became the champion -Mustard's partner pokemon died -Peony defeated Mustard and became the champion -Previous chairman suggested a rigged match for Mustard but he refused -Previous chairman was caught with the rigged match attempt (or probably already did one before he even suggested it to Mustard) -Rose replaced him as the chairman -Peony quit the league It all comes together
Toby! I noticed something you didn't mention, but I think you'll find adorable. Peony and Peonia have the same ADHD-like tick. They both seemingly involuntarly shake their legs the same way during a couple cutscenes.
Seeing as Leon passion is to bring out the best in trainers I don’t see why he would want to rig matches. And something I been thinking about the two humans kings what if they were the false kings and Calyrex was indeed the true king of Galar seeing as the there’s a lot of evidence shown that the Pokémon influence throughout Galar has been hidden away from the public eye.
Forgotten rather than hidden. People forgot them. That said, I think the 2 kings may have been humans and Calyrex was just a different era... or a different part. Galar is huge after all... It'd be like 3 separate nations easily...
@@TheDeathmail true people forgotten about Calyrex over time but why back in stow in side the Zacian and Zamazenta statues were covered by an mural wall you would think that would remain seeing as they help defend against the darkest day.
@@steveminecraft5887 @Madhavilatha Kota , Nope, i have seen People i dont know randomly poping up when im not in Online mode In-game, so you also wil see other people that you are not friends with, they just have to be close to you. so if you go randomly walking around where lots of people live close to each other you can find all 32 people to talk with to unlock Spiritomb, i only talked 32 times with diffrent people to unlock spiritomb, so thats aswell not 50 that Toby says in the video. in Poke Lets go, people wil always spawn next of you where you going and stand stil for a sec. in sword and shield only in Wild area and the two DLC parts. now you know XD
Hey bird keeper toby, you were mentioning peony and chairman rose, well yeah, the game prooved they're related, look on the back of his rare league card, it says he's rose's younger brother
Is Rose in jail? There's that event in the Crown Tundra at night where you can find Oleana, and she mentions how Chairman Rose has been missing. Or did I read that wrong...
No u read that right I questioned that too thinking if chairman rose either escaped or someone let him out and hes been gone ever since or rose is still in prison but oleana nvr knew? But that's kinda weird considering oleana knew rose turned himself in so.... yea a very weird mystery perhaps sword and shield is not entirely done yet
Basically theyre had been reports of chairman rose being seen in the graveyard, so at night olena had been going there every night to try and see him, the claim ended up being busted after it was revealed that it wasn't chairman rose, it was chairman roses little brother, peony, yes they r related, so basically that's that.
Was thinking the same thing. Leon wasn't scheming with them he was watching them while they did their apology tour around Galar for the trouble they caused to make sure they didn't try anything else. I love Toby and his videos but I think his whole spiel about Leon being evil is way off. He's perfectly free to have his theories and headcannon of course but I hard disagree with that one.
I feel like Leon would be evil for a different reason, and it’s in small things like how he acts when he’s defeated (it looks like he’s about to break down then all of a sudden it’s like that animation never happened). Plus the fact that Leon doesn’t seem to go along with peoples evil plans fully, but he happens to be tagging along. I think if Leon would be evil, it would be because he wants to be the strongest and his personality was basically built on being champion, and now that’s taken away from him. So when there’s an opportunity for him to feel somewhat important, he jumps at the opportunity because now he can seem like he’s stronger. Basically it seems like even the tournament is his way of putting himself in some sort of position of importance, but eventually the dude seems like he could snap. Character wise, his defeat animation extremely contrasts with the fact that he’s wayyy too happy. And certain npc’s in the game had said before that Leon would always go all out in battles even if it wasn’t necessary (eg: training matches), so maybe that’s another clue. Not to mention that he contacted the champion (the playable character) last when it came down to the star tournament, with little to no context as to what was happening, maybe another sign of self importance. Even if this isn’t it, I hope that the game does get a twist of some sort. It would be interesting to see small details that were seemingly insignificant all of a sudden mean something to the player and the story
@@madnessarcade7447 possible so, but I think it’s still weird that the game decided to include a sore loser animation, plus the fact that he seems to fill his loss with a bunch of distractions. Even if he’s not “evil” so to speak, those are two details that stick out a lot and seem they could possible contribute to the game if the game even gets an extended story past the dlc’s
@3:57 I just finished catching Keldeo and went to do the cutscene, and found it kinda odd as well... I find it soo oddly specific that you: 1. Find all the footsteps 2. Confirm with Sonia where the S.o.J. are 3. Catch all of them 4. Show her they’re real 5. Watch her leave back to mainland Galar without seeing Keldo 6. Wonder around and find the cooking pot next to Keldeo’s footprints 7. Put all the S.o.J. In you party and cook a meal to make Keldeo appear 8. Catch Keldeo 9. Go show Sonia back at the lab and listen to her awe and say she should’ve stayed awhile longer in the Crown Tundra *10. Finally get the cutscene You go through ALL those steps to get to the end point which is the cutscene. Then you watch it and it’s like a “oh... that’s all?” type reaction. Or at least I had that response personally. I get it, you get the legendary Mon’s and that’s a real prize in itself ... because I mean come on... that’s what the game is based around, catchin’ Pokémon. BUT..... it almost seems like a red herring. More specifically what made me raise an eyebrow was because when you show the professor that you caught Keldeo, Sonia just talks about how she should’ve stayed longer. Nothing more. And then camera goes to focus on Yamper. It almost looks like the REAL CONTEXT OF THE CUTSCENE was the camera specifically panning to Yamper to show it bark in the direction of the map on the far side of the room 🤨🤨🤨 Didn’t Gamefreak intentionally put a picture of G-Max Toxtricity in Ultra Sun & Moon or something like that?? Would it be too farfetched(lmao) to think that’s a map of a future game or expansion? Gamefreak has been cheeky like that in the past, and I think to put something THIS specific and seemingly irrelevant at the END of series of events in a side mission might be trying to point something out to us. Or am I being ridiculous and that’s a map I just don’t recognize??? Someone please help it’s like 2 in the morning and I need these answers 😂🤔 LOVE the content you put out by the way brother! 💪🏽
The reference to Cobuto being only near extinct - could mean that we could see a future region host a variant of it that is the actual way it looked like millions of years ago. Here I'm assuming that Aerodactyl's entry of imperfect restoration extends onto Cobuto too.
This actually isn't new infomation, all the way back in Gen 2 it's had dex entries saying it's not completely extinct. For example: Silver "This POKéMON lived in ancient times. On rare occasions, it has been discovered as a living fossil." Emerald "It is a POKéMON that has been regenerated from a fossil. However, in rare cases, living examples have been discovered. KABUTO have not changed for 300 million years." Omega Ruby "Kabuto is a Pokémon that has been regenerated from a fossil. However, in extremely rare cases, living examples have been discovered. The Pokémon has not changed at all for 300 million years." (Original Ruby is very similar to the emerald entry) Ultra Sun: "This Pokémon thrived 300 million years ago. It’s said that living specimens can still be seen in a certain region-a rare sight." Which could be referring to here.
@@Justic_ yeah, I believe that next year they should at last give us the Sinnoh remakes, and a massive game for the 25th anniversary. Many fans have been waiting patiently, and the truth is that considering the new reggion is just a year old, it wouldn't make sense to introduce a whole new region to the market.
@@Justic_ yeah, couldn't agree more. I hope that whatever they're working on, they put their most in it. I wouldn't mind let's go Johto, but considering that the Let's go series isn't getting the best reputation by the fans, I believe the games won't be as popular. I just hope that the new games have at least a "better quality", as some fans say, and enough content to satisfy all types of fans.
Re: Aerodactyl, wouldn't a "perfect" version of it be one that isn't part rock type? The idea of all but the Gen 8 fossils being at least part rock type feels like the method for reviving them means they can't be totally brought back to how they once were. If that is true, a perfect version may be flying and dragon, or stay rock, like I would assume Omanyte and Kabuto would due to their shells.
*peony's daughter doesnt look like peony and is called "peonia"* weak theory... rose had a daughter called "rosa" (hence rosa has hexagons on her outfit) there macrocosmos logos
What about the implications that the Variant Legendary Birds don't actually seem to belong to Galar? They don't match the description people in Galar would have about the birds, and in fact, it looks like they just suddenly appeared and Galar knew nothing about them....
Thinking about eternatus and chairman roses conection to the max lair... What if thats where eternatus first landed and they brought it to mainland galar. That might explain why the dynamax energy is so potent and even why all the legendaries are there...just a thought
someone's probably already commented about this, but I wish to correct something about spiritomb. I should also mention that this isn't a hate comment as I like toby, but I have heard the same thing everywhere and I do wish to help those who are looking for the spiritomb and, not, waste their time talking to a number they don't have to hit, but you can if you wish to have cooking ingredients for keldeo's encounter ^w^' There is a tomb in the location nearby the massive tree where the birds were found, it will tell you to spread its voice, what it means is to talk to people, not through battles or trades, but how you would get given cooking items from them in the overworld. The number of people that need to be spoken to is not 50, it is actually 32 which is the same as it was in gen 4. Once thats done, check the tomb again, then reset the location by either saving and resetting the game or flying to the tree again or another location then coming back. make your way to the tomb again and there will be a spiritomb. The thing to keep in mind is that the spiritomb can be shiny hunted but there is only 1 spiritomb in the entire crown tundra. so if you wish to shiny hunt for it, save before battling it. I also believe that talking to 32 people before checking the tomb cannot change the tomb's dialogue to summon the spiritomb, you need to check the tomb first or you have to talk to 32 people again. (this part is not factual, but it is what I believe as I have talked to more than 32 people before I beat the game and it told me exact same thing, spreading its voice) I really hoped this helped people understand of how the spiritomb works ^w^
@@Whispernyan ah, that does make sense as that would be resetting the location. Its also a time saver as well rather than flying to the tree or saving and restarting ^w^
i found you much later on in your youtube career but thanks for providing all this story telling in fun videos. even now, theyre all so fun to go back and watch and you're such a sweetie and a positive voice
Yeah Leon being evil or at least a massive D bag is ingrained in my brain. MY personal theory is that he's accumulating all this power so he can lure all the other champions to him for some nefarious purpose. Personally think if we do get another DLC that it'll be world tournament esque thing that'll have a heavy focus around us finding out more about Leon. I also have way too many ideas about Ghetsis specifically being involved XD
Actually with some of the Fossil Pokemon, the Shield entry for Shadow Rider Calyrex says "Legend says that by using its power to see all events from past to future, this Pokémon saved the creatures of a forest from a meteorite strike." That's a really cool tidbit that explains why all the Fossil Mons are still alive.
It’s also cool that Peony is Rose’s brother. I wonder how Peony reacted to his imprisonment, it is said that their parents often said that Rose would be better and more successful than Peony causing his rebellious nature. So I was wondering if Peony would feel sad that his brother has fallen so hard and is now in prison or if he would feel vindicated as he could finally prove that he wasn’t the useless or worthless person his parents made him out to be. What are people thinking?
Rather than came from the lair, I think he was exploring collecting energy from the lair. Those were said to be devices to draw or give energy to the stone Eternatus was in. It's likely one of his later projects before deciding to go full Darkest Day.
I think so. It seems, unlike other regions, champions either switch after being beaten or retain their title another year (rather than winning it as title while position is still claimed by original "champion") Mustard has the record for 18 years while Leon mentioned to have 10 years. Also the Chairman before Rose was trying to get Mustard to win a rigged match, prompting Mustard to retire. Peony held the position a year until Rose stepped up, which caused Peony to quit and disappear from the public. And as we know, Rose developed the battle tournaments Galar came to be famous for and sponsored Leon when he first started out. Obviously we won't know who else had the champion title in the other years but the timeline is assumed to be... Mustard champion -> Mustard retires -> Peony becomes champion -> Rose becomes chairman/Peony quits -> Leon becomes champion
Peony was a Gym Leader. He was Major Division for sure, but never got up to Champion status. (Everyone thought Peony was Rose's father lol Turns out he was his younger brother 😂)
In relation to number 5 there’s an explanation for why the scientist said that about Peony: if you go to the Old Cemetery at night you can find Oleana. When you speak to her she tells you that she’s looking for Chairman Rose and that she heard that he was seen in the Crown Tundra. After she asks you if you’ve seen him, Peony will appear and Oleana realizes that people were talking about him and reveals that Peony and Rose are brothers (which explains why both of them use Steel Type Pokémon) Also, some of the returning legendary Pokémon have Pokédex descriptions for SwSh in Pokémon Home but do not appear in the games dexes these are: Mewtwo, Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem, Keldeo, the Solgaleo/Lunala line, Necrozma & Zeraora (with Regigigas probably being included as well)
Another little fact is that u can catch the fossils in the wild of the crown tundra because calyrex looked into the future and saved them from extinction. It says this in his dex entry. Also the only fossil pokemon that cant be caught are the gen 4 fossils, coincidence? Also its 32 trainers that u have to speak to, to get spiritomb
In isle of armor, during the initial 3 challenges, you have to get max mushrooms, and Mustard tells you there uses to be a lot of max mushrooms in the forest but a Greedent came through and ate all of them. Has to be the same Greedent in the giant tree right?
The fossil Pokémon are given a decent amount of lore in this game! If you read Calyrex’s dex entry (I forget which game & which Calyrex form), it mentions that it once saved the Crown Tundra from a meteor that devastated the rest of the world - the one that made all the Fossil Pokémon go extinct everywhere else. So basically, the fossil Pokémon are alive and well in the Crown Tundra because of Calyrex. That brings up a contradiction though in Aerodactyl (and possibly the rest of the fossil Pokémon). Aerodactyl is an incomplete restoration according to the games, but I vaguely remember learning that was the case for ALL Fossil Pokémon, and the reason they’re all rock type is because some of the fossil rock fused with their DNA in the restoration process. I can’t find sources on that last bit so maybe it’s just a theory or something, but at least Aerodactyl definitely raises the question: why are the fossil Pokémon that roam the Croen Tundra their restored variations and not their original counterparts? Now I’m wishing they did Galarian forms for some of the fossil ‘mon. Missed opportunity 😔
The giant is more likely a reference to nordic mythology, which has ties to the history of the uk. Ymir being the giant who's body formed the lands and everything
I love to see true forms of the existing fossil Pokemon, like regional form but are what they actually look like in prehistoric times, something to expand the Pokelore, also pre-evolutions of Aerodactyl as well as a G-max form, also true forms for the Galarian fossils, love more fossil mons too
Wow I thought I was done but apparently not. I have a Keldeo & Regigiggas to catch, a few more rounds of the team tournament to play AND new fashion to unlock. Big thanks for this one Toby.
i hope the Victini event happens i'm excite because its a static encounter which means that gamefreak is finally getting out of the habit of just giving away mythicals(gen 6-now) and we are finally back to the old ways (gen 3-5[gen 2-5 if you where in japan]) and earning our mythicals and i'm so excited. i hope this is a future event and not scrapped content because Victini is my favorite Mythical pokemon.
When it comes to the Galarain legendary birds it seems they are variants which have adapted to the Crown Tundra. I like to compare this phenomena to something like Monster Hunter, where there are monsters with alternate variants that live in different ecosystems.
1. The League Cards say that Peony is Rose's brother. 2. At some point, Oleana shows up near the cemetery and says Rose has been spotted, only to realize it was actually Peony.
I think with fossil pokemon it's why they have the rock type instead of their normal secondary, if they had a secondary. Which is why we get the various fused typings from the gen 8 fossils
This was their best chance to give us the original Galar Fossil Pokemon designs. The place has ancient pokemon thriving. If there was ever an opportunity to give us the four fossil pokemon, this was it.
To elaborate on Peony and Chairman Rose, if I'm not mistaken his Regular or his Rare League card outright states they are related. I believe Peony is the younger brother to Chairman Rose. I'll have to go back and double check but I read them the other day cuz TyranitarTube mentioned how they looked alike and the scientist also mentions it but he never read the cards....so I did and they are in fact related.
Me after starting to play this game again: Me: ...wait so what happen since Rose doesn't run the League anymore Leon: I am actually...CEO of the company
The fossil pokemon running wild and hints at them not being perfect recreations of their past selves is absolutely a reference to the ending of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom
Just to clarify, Peony got the master ball fr9m Rose, he says "i got it from someone i used to know", and both his rare league card and the secret Oleana cutscene confirm that he's Rose's brother,
I think honestly the legendary birds shiny forms are meant to represent that they are a split form. They are technically the same birds but the reason they're so different is they adapted to different climates. Their typings are just adaptations to a new climate and gain the upper hand by being slightly different? Just a thought
Marshadow was once a Gengar because it states that before Marshadow was Marshadow he was a Pokémon who could go into other’s shadows and that hen specifically went into martial artists shadows and became who he is now Plzzz use this in a vid
WHAT IF, Eternatus did come from crown Tundra, was secretly transported under Raihan's gym in the power plant, BUT the reason why the similar beam thingys are there was to make Eternatus feel at home?
According to Pokémon Sun, Mega Aerodactyl might be the true form of Aerodactyl, stating "Part of its body has become stone. Some scholars claim that this is Aerodactyl's true appearance." which could be very plausible cause further more; Let's Go's dex entry says "The power of Mega Evolution has completely restored its genes. The rocks on its body are harder than diamond." emthesis on "resoted its genes". Also Peony is apparently Chairman Rose's brother, at some point you can find Oleana in the Old Graveyard in the tundra, -i just found her chilling there while looking for Galarian Rapidash- and she's apparently looking for Rose because "someone who looked like Rose" is in the tundra, and conveniently Peony shows up and it's revealed that he's Rose's brother, which could also explain why they look alike.
Small fact about telepathy in the game There is one talking Pokemon before this that spoke to you normally. Zoroark in Black 2 where it is disguised as a hitchhiker and doesn't reveal itself till asking "Have you met a Zoroark?"
I believe one of the Calyrex pokedex entries say something about Calyrex protecting some pokemon from an extinction event which is likely why fossil pokemon roam free here.
I think the fossil pokemon in Crown Tundra are a reference to Mary Anning, a famous English paleontologist who made a lot of famous discoveries in Southern England.
I don't know if this has been pointed out before, but another connection from Rose to Peony, Roses are considered the Queen of Flowers, Peonies are considered the King of Flowers. From that I assumed that Peony was Rose's older brother, which would lead to him coming into ownership of the Master Ball. (I hadn't checked his league card)
The one who gives you the card that unlocks more clothes and hairstyles is either Klara or Avery. Though that man you get clothes from does appear in the Isle of Armor
You also didn't go into Calyrex-Shadow Rider's shield pokedex entry with the fossils, despite it fitting: "Legend says that by using its power to see all events from past to future, this Pokémon saved the creatures of a forest from a meteorite strike." considering a meteor strike is a big theory on how the dinosaurs went extinct and became fossils... and there are fossil mons roaming... and they aren't dead...
On a directors commentary from an early Pokemon Movie, one of the staff said they loved the telepathic pokemon, as without a moving mouth the dub can be whatever they want.
I don't think anyone else is talking about it but I've noticed that the only fossil Pokemon missing from the Crown Tundra are the Gen 4 ones, I'm not sure if it's solid evidence for remakes but should definitely be mentioned. Also Gen 4 mythical Pokemon can't be moved into Sword and Shield either.
For Spiritomb, you only need to talk to 32 people, just like it was back in Gen 4. It’s even more of a reference than what you said in the video. Eternatus didn’t come from the Max Lair. It was found underneath Hammerlocke. Calyrex also talks to you after you catch it, though briefly. Peony is already long-gone by then, so my guess is it’s standard telepathy there. Fwoofy is way too cute of a name. Not gonna lie, I’m still convinced that your “Leon is evil” theory doesn’t hold any water whatsoever.
Actually, for the statement that Aerodactyl isn’t in their complete state, it’s been confirmed that Mega Aerodactyl is the family’s actual form. Considering that the spears on their body are in fact part of their anatomy, I’m gonna assume maybe the bones in a fossil got destroyed or something. But it is an interesting topic in pokemon’s lore.
