Fantastic list! I agree with 13 of the 15 😄 A brand I have zero interest in owning is Chanel! Judge me all you want but any brand that makes me feel like my money is not good enough to be spent in their stores gets a 👎🏼 from me!

I agree with you for many of these bags but I love the Neverfull and the Alma BB. I also like the Loewe Puzzle.

My Alma BB (DE) is one of my fave bags 😍 I love the silhouette and I think it looks so classic and timeless. Most of the others aren't for me...never understood the appeal of the Book Tote!

Agree with most except for the Loewe puzzle bag. Got it last year and it’s still a favorite! I have it in the small size sand/mink color and it just perfectly goes with my style and neutral wardrobe

agree w/ all except for the mini WTH. I own several rec mini’s and the one I wear most often is the top handle one - so easy to grab and sling on/off while wearing crossbody. I agree it was most def an after thought bc it’s literally the rec mini with a handle added, but I’m SO glad they had this afterthought bc top handles are a must for me and I’m obsessed with rec minis! 😍

I agree with all 15 bags, in that they're all so different, it would be very difficult for one person to be able to pull off all of them. I think the problem with influencers today feel like they have to get all the bags, even if doesn't go with their personal style or vibe.

I have the multi pochette accessoires only because I don't have any SLG and for me, I was in the mindset that if I didn't like the bag together, I have the pieces for my collection. I saw it as investment pieces and can split them up. Other that that, I agree with your opinions on the other bags.

I agree with you on all of them except for Chanel 19 (even though I don’t own one). There are so many handbags I would never buy, but there is a small handful that I would want in every color if I had the budget :).

I love the lv heart bag 😂 and also the Chanel 19. I love mine! I didn’t like at first but after I tried it, it was super comfortable and functional to me and I use a organizer for structure :)

I have to say that I agree with most bags you mentioned in the video. The Fendi first bag, I wasn't interested in it either and thought it's a clutch until I saw a girl wwar it in the supermarket, it comes with a thin crossbody strap and since than, I've being loving it and concidering adding it to my collection

Excellent list! I am very particular with my bags and agree with all your points. The only bag that I would actually want to have is the Alma BB. It’s just so cute!

I love love the Neverfull. I have it in MM and GM. And because of people saying that they hate it and don’t like it made me consider of selling it but I am so glad I didn’t cause I know I will regret it. I love tote bags and even there’s tons of options out there I still go back to my Neverfull. I end up selling the other ones and just stick with my 2 Neverfulls and not care what other people say. I also have Alma BB and Chanel 19. They’re ok. I love them but not as much as I love totes. Book tote I am considering. I love the look but I am not 100%.

I agree with everything you mentioned except for the LV Alma and Neverfull. I like classic styles not trendy bags or loud colors. Both of the bags in the classic prints will be relevant 20, 30 years (and beyond).

Wow I didn’t expect to but really second all your picks here! With full respect to these bags and people that own them, I personally don’t agree with brands that produce almost fast fashion trendy bags these days with minimal actual design (e.g. LV multi pochette, I’m with you 100% that this ‘bag’ is just a 3-SLGs-in-1 + a chain). To me luxury fashion that’s worthy the price tag needs to at least show me the designer’s thought behind it, and then be justified with good product quality.

I agree with most of what you said except for the Alma PM, not the BB. It’s such a good bag to elevate a jeans and tshirt outfit. Especially in the Epi. I don’t like the cosmetic pouch but I love the Alma

I’m laughing at your descriptions 🤣🤣. I own alma pm and neverfull GM. I love alma as a handbag but I don’t see myself using it as a crossbody. Neverfull took me years to add it to my collection. Hawaii price made me do it last summer as a travel bag. Great video and thanks for your honesty.

I think we have pretty similar taste that I agree with you for most of them except one, CHANEL top-handle mini. I have both rectangular minis with/without top handle. Although I love them both, top-handle is easier to grab when I'm in hurry 😁 In addition, one bag I won't buy is HERMES Herbag, because it is hard to open and close😂 Thank you for sharing! I agree with all of these with the exception (don’t we all have 1 or 2 exceptions - lol) of the Loewe Puzzle bag. I own several of them and was worried about the opening as well. It was very easy to get used to and I basically leave it unzipped all the time so with the flap it still looks closed and secure. If I want the extra security I just zip it up. It really is a great bag, high quality, and pretty low key (which I like).

Thank you for a great video. It can be tough when you voice an unpopular opinion. The popular bag that I will never buy is the pochette metis. I can’t stand it!!! I really liked the look of reverse and decided to try it on last year. It looks ridiculous on me. I feel like I am wear a middle schooler’s messenger book bag. I’ve tried the monogram, reverse, and that beautiful nace nacre blue empriente leather one, which was my favorite by far. So gorgeous and luxurious, but not for me! 😢

I love the puzzle bag by my issue is it looks… contemporary? I just don’t think the price matches with aesthetic. If the bag was in the $2K range then I’d consider it.

I have the Prada crystal bag and the Goyard tote. I love them both and they are holding up well. I really dislike the Balenciaga bag you featured. I’m a huge fan of old Balenciaga, but the new ones creep me out!

I'm a bit late to this video, but I absolutely have to comment on the Loewe Puzzle. I have similar taste to you in that I love clean lines, simplicity, and classic styles. My Puzzle is the one bag that doesn't fit perfectly into this aesthetic. I have the medium size and it is the most versatile, wearable bag that I own (except maybe the LV Speedy). The leather and craftsmanship is second to none. You may be aware that Loewe is referred to as the Spanish Hermes. I've worn it for 3 years, never baby it, and it looks brand new. It has not lost its shape at all, which I was a bit surprised about. It doesn't look slouchy. As a side note, I do have it in black, so the asymmetry of the lines is less pronounced. It is really fun to get your perspective on topics like this, though, since it sort of helps us see things differently. There are just so many bags on the market, so it is good to be very critical of them since most of us view them as something we will have long term! We have to be discerning 💜

However I would have been so thrilled if I was gifted with any of the bags you mentioned except the heart shaped bad. It’s an absolutely NO. Oh my gosh, thank you for sharing your list of “not going there,” with your purchases. I agree with your concerns with all these bags. Just not my vibe either. I recently purchased the LV Speedy 20 in empriente leather after seeing your Speedy BB. What a great little bag, checks all the boxes and is stable when you set it down. I need user friendly bags that tend toward the well designed zippers, pulls or flaps. The issue of getting in and out of a bag is important, with the design being well balanced with not too much stuff jammed on it. The deep embossing, looks swollen a bit creepy. Plus, I think the puffiness will breakdown over time. You have great taste for the long run. The only exception, I do love the Neverfull in empriente leather… nicely structured and understated.

I agree with all except the Alma bb lol. I own it in monogram and I just think it's the cutest bag. Funny though, I only like the Alma in the bb size. Whenever I see it in the larger sizes I just think clunky old lady bag 😂.

I have the Kate spade heart bag and I adore it. It’s surprisingly spacious for a ‘gimmick’ bag. But then I have a very girly style so it’s best for me. And it’s at a much lower price point. I found a few bags on this list as plain ugly in general,. 😂

The Fendi first has a strap that you can add to make it a crossbody. I really like it more than the Bottega pouch. I own the Prada and I love it, it’s fun to have, fun to wear and eye catching

Would add another one: the Chanel Gabrielle. For the same reason as the Chanel 19 - way too heavy and the chains would slip off my shoulders. On a separate topic, I wonder if anyone has predictions of when silver / platinum hardware will become more popular, and larger sizes too? Saw your Chanel jumbo in action and it’s got me thinking more this.

I agree with almost everything in your list. I only have the LV Neverfull and the only reason I decided against selling it is it got “easier” to use when I bought an organiser to put on it. I also use it when I need to bring my laptop and still look fashionable 😁. But I agree, it’s a glorified “mum bag”!

I liked this video topic. I can’t decide if I agree or disagree with you on some of these, because there are some on your list that I do love and internally said “blasphemy!” when you called them out 😂, but on the other hand, I don’t love them enough to own them, so maybe that is a somewhat tacit agreement. 🤔 But if I had a bigger luxury handbag budget, I would absolutely want to add a crystal Prada Re-edition, a Loewe puzzle, a Chanel 19 and a Fendi First (but only with a strap-I thought some did have one?).

What an interesting video! I agree in most of the bags you mentioned except for the LV Neverfull and Chanel top handle mini. Love my damier azure NF MM for the summer where I can put my mini bag when I am out for the day running errands, driving around. My silver caviar mini with top handle got the most use last summer. I use it cross body and easy to grab with top handle. Love my regular rectangular minis too.

I do agree with most! I have 4/15 bags though 😍 I would never get Celine luggage tote or belt bag- the design just never appealed to me and it looks heavy! This was a fun video and I agree with many who commented- it’s a good thing we don’t all like the same bags, that would make it even harder for us to get our hands on the ones we want 😂 a few of these brands make it hard enough already!

I agree with most of your opinions except.. My chanel 19 is my favorite bag at the moment. I love the slouchy siloueete. My LV Coussin bag is my second favorite bag. It is extremely lightweight for a leather bag. It is very versatile with the canvas crossbody strap for day then the gold chain shoulder strap for evening. I again love the soft slouchy bag. My Neverful is my go to travel bag. I don't use it as a purse. I have it in DE so I don't have to worry about the vechetta.

My old Palermo gm (very similar to neverfull) is just the perfect compromise between a backpack and something lady appropriate 😂😂😂that’s why I bought it 15 yrs ago when I was tired of being the only one so nerdy with a backpack (backpack wasn’t fancy at all back then). Great video! I agree with all… except the Loewe puzzle although yes, it is a bit annoying to get into. Not the best ‘running around town doing errands’ pick for that reason. The shape didn’t initially wow me and I didn’t get it, but it’s grown on me and now I love it - the mix of slouchy and structure. I have a tri color version which I think shows off the lines/sections nicely.

Apart from the Neverfull, which I have and love, I am in 100% agreement. To be honest I think I dislike more bags than I actually like, no matter what the cost or who the designer is. I bought the mini rectangular with top handle in caviar, but I sold it because just like you said the handle was added after thoughts. 😂 NF GM is very useful as a shopping bag. 19 is an easy bag to use and fits a lot. Agreed with others bags you mentioned. Not for me. Fun video to watch ❤️

I agree with all of your choices. I placed the Alma BB in my cart several times, but never pulled the trigger. I do have the multi pochette in Creme Empriente leather w/ just 2 pieces & a pretty gold chain & leather strap. I didn't care for the original monogram, but the leather version is quite nice. I do sort of covet a Chanel Classic flap but my top limit is $4000 for a bag. Hermes B & K bags don't appeal to me at all. Thanks for your Lady Dior love/hate - I was crushing on that bag for a while too!! Your reviews are so good. Really helpful.

I thought i’m done with it but lo and behold, I recently got the sunflower color. Indeed you need to be strategic with how you pack your things so can be a bit fussy..hehe .. but love the little alma to bits and will continue to enjoy them for a long time. 😍 Of my 6 LV bags, 4 of them is alma.. 😅

I was obsessed with Alma BB last year, but thankfully I was never able to find it in stock online :D My taste has changed a lot and now I’m so glad that I don’t have one. The wide bottom makes it so awkward to wear crossbody and the short handles make it impossible to wear on the arm.

I usually change the strap to a more neutral color to match more outfits. 🤣 I really want to add the saddle bag to my collection! I agree with all your reasons for not wanting to add those bags in your collection. Personally, my main considerations in purchasing a bag would be craftsmanship, symmetry/design, durability, and quality of the material used.

Agreed with your 15 choices. Got the red alma bb April last year sold it December last year. Took a $1,540 loss and never wore, it sat on the shelf. I only want coco handle and Kelly an Birkin - no other bags matter.

I totally agree with you on all of these, except the Alma BB. I wasn’t keen on the Alma BB either until I got one and then I fell in love with the shape. The only thing about mine that I’m not keen on is the damier print, because it’s way too common and I see it absolutely everywhere!

I agree with almost all of your choices, except for the Fendi First bag/clutch, and the top handle chanel mini rectangular. The Fendi First - I own in the large, and it comes with a strap so you don't have to carry it just as a clutch, although I do personally prefer it carried that way. Also, I purchased it in the fabric with the Karligraphy print on it, which makes it more interesting, without being too obnoxious, in a beige/caramel colour. As for the top handle mini rectangular - I do not own one, but am hoping to find a pre-loved version in great condition at a decent price point in the pre-loved market. I love the sturdy top handle, and you can tuck the rest of the chain inside the bag. I agree that you could shorten the purse chain strap, but I don't love that it flops around, and moves so much while carrying it (hence why a sturdy top handle is so nice to have). I do agree with all of the other choices, I wouldn't want to carry an organ/kidney bag, or a book tote that weighs as much as the books it's supposed to carry (plus it doesn't come with a shoulder strap, or no closure zipper! The balenciaga hourglass bag is ugly (in my opinion), and the botteg veneta jodi bag is ugly, and I hate that there''s no structure/symmetry. However, that green colour is gorgeous. Wish they made more bags in that colour, even though, like you, almost all of my bags are in a neutral tone so I can easily mix and match. The Prada re-edition bling shoulder purse is very tacky. I feel like I could bedazzle any shoulder purse, and have the same effect. I don't hate the Chanel 19 bag, but I don't love the mixed metals, chunky chains, and now, I cannot un-see the spider-y decal of the chanel logo turn lock. However, I do love that it is a larger sized bag, has a giant back pocket for sliding your phone in, and you can buy an organizer to make it a lot more structured. Still, I hate spiders, and that logo is creepy. Speaking of creepy - you are right again, there is something "off" about that LV Coussin bag. It's meant to be a "pillow" bag, but the indentation of the logo stamped all over is like it's branded skin, indented in. The LV multipochette accessoires bag, is way too much going on for such a small bag, and the LV heart shaped bag - I do like it a lot, but the fact that I too have a little daughter that would be all over that bag makes it seem a bit too childish to be carrying around. I like and own the Alma and the coco handle (Chanel bag with top handle). I think top handles look lady-like and elegant. These bags are appropriate when I go to luxury 3 star restaurants and 5 star hotels, where I need to look formal. With respect to all of the other bags, I agree with you. But when you are young, it may be fun to be adventurous in fashion. After all, it may be the only time when you can be like that, so I wouldn't deny that. It may take a lot of experience and experimenting before you settle down to timeless pieces, and that process may be fun. I myself went through the neverfull phase, but I don't regret it, it was fine and appropriate at the time.

I agree with all your picks. Never liked Chanel 19 but fell in love when I saw LVloverCC wearing it in pink. Bought one but never used it after owning it for 6 months. Sold it without regrets. I don't get the popular Alma BB, puzzle bag, Chanel mini with top handles, Prada re-edition (in any material) either. Having second thought on Dior saddle bag though after I recently re-watched sex and the city and saw Carrie carried 4 or 5 different saddle bags in one episode. i thought it's hard to style that bag but Carrie styled one of them with just tshirt and jeans and it looked so good and effortless.

I don’t own or desire any of these, and for many of the same reasons you mentioned. Gah! Someone who understands!! 🙌🏼 While I think the Neverfull is handy, and I do love totes when I have to carry a lot of stuff (work client visits or personal meetings), I need a zipper or some kind of strong closure for security and also to prevent content spillage (aka, hard stop in the car, airport security screening).

We think alike, at least on 14 of them. I like simple styles, no logos if possible, not heavy and functional. That's why I am a fan of the Le Pliage bags, so utilitarian and sturdy, you just throw everything in. I do own the puzzle bag in navy which I LOVE. I have the earlier version with the wider strap and the feet. It is frustrating that how they removed these and charged higher prices. It is my most used everyday bag particularly when I travel because it feels safe cross-body style sight-seeing and quite inconspicuous. The outside zipper for my Metrocard is so precious. I do understand how the opening could be problematic for some people but I do not carry much so my hand just slides in quite easily. I would love it if you do a future post on designer bags that you like that are under the radar, sort of the opposite of this post. I am a bit of a contrarian so would love a post on "bags I am liking that nobody talks about". Congratulations on another wonderful post!

Last week I took the liberty to criticize the visual part of your video, that in my humble opinion was not helping your excellent content. This week I am going to praise it, knowing that it's all my own humble opinion. You did it so well, bravo!

I had the alma gm in epi leather and it did not work for me at all… opening it was definitely a hassle. The LV multi pochette just seems like I have to open 3 bags just to find what I need. Buuuut the Loewe one I still kind of want for the looks but I do dislike that flap over the zipper and small opening. Great picks!

I just can’t jump on the Capucines. I think the mini is adorable, but I’ve tried it on so many times and there is always major wear even if it’s just put on display. It doesn’t hold its structure well and I know I would dislike it once it starts to sag. This is all before even considering the recent price increase.

I agree with most of your opinions. I, too, steer towards more conservative/structured handbags. . However, I do own the Neverful and use it ALL the time for travel. Yes, it isn’t secure, but I put most of my items in separate pouches so they are more secure. I have back issues so I travel with a cushion that fits perfectly in the GM along with my water bottle, shawl, chargers and small toiletry bag. I concur with your assessment of the Loewe puzzle bag, but I do own it (mini - blush color) and surprisingly enough, I use it a lot in the summer. It’s only when I’m in a hurry that the opening drives me crazy. The unique styles of the saddle bag and LV heart bag do intrigue me, but the cost is the prevailing factor. If I really have to have it, I will go the preloved route. Thanks for your perspective on these items.

I agree with you in all the options you picked . However Neverfull is still accepted for me despite the fact I sold it
