@Plan With Laur as someone in tech, I highly advise you get a password keeping application that maintains your passwords far more securely than a paper planner. That being said, recognizing that at times you may need passwords and not have access to the device with those passwords accessible that way, the last thing you want to do is have all your passwords in an other-human-readable form in your tracker: if someone grabs your planner, they’ve got far too much control over you, quite likely able to steal your identity and resources. Instead of direct text, write in a coded form that you will be able to associate in your mind how to translate that to an actual password, say “meow” for “cat” or (to be even more cryptic) “meow” for “dog” as an example. Be aware that if your planner is compromised, you’ll need to be able to quickly change passwords stored within it. So, at least have a password manager with all of them you can fairly quickly use and reset all your passwords.
Super cute ideas! Very helpful. I have so many planners because of course I bought them on sale and have no idea what to use them for. Here we goooo! 😂🤣
So, I’m pretty sure you read my mind... I literally have “Draft Notes Pages” written down for TODAY in my ECDPP 💗 really excited for the other 2 videos to come out!! I LOVE your channel... keep it going girl!! 🤩🥰
Thank you for the ideas. I have a lot of those on my phone (I don’t really hand write). Podcasts: There's an SVU one, Tenfold More Wicked and The History Chicks. List ideas: your doctors, a Black Friday shopping list and a travel list where you wanna go when you go to a certain city.
I love your note page ideas. Great video, Laura! I love your handwriting so much. For my 2020 planner I use my notes pages for a few different things. One page is for my goals for the year, I use 3 pages to keep track of the books I read by month, one page is for my EC and planner wishlist (since I'm not currently working), I use one page to track my Instagram followers by month and one page to track my RU-vid followers by month. And the last page, I use to journal about the year on the last day of the year (which also happens to be my birthday). I started doing that in my 2019 planner and will be continuing that as a tradition in all of my future planners. I listen to two podcasts: The Uncurated Life by Cindy of Llama Letters and Amy Tangerine's podcast.
So amazing Lauren! Also so helpful! Really love how you used your notes pages. This definitely gave some inspiration for my ECLP move in. Thank you so much! 💗
I listen to a ton of podcasts too! A tracker page for those is such a great idea. Up & Vanished is my all-time favorite crime podcast. I recently found The Missionary which is very compelling and easy to binge!
Looking at your older videos as I only found you early last month I think it was ;) This series is so incredibly amazing!!! I thought it would be enough to fill my life planner (purchase my first planner from EC) without looking up ideas but I got stuck, so excited to finish my pre planing sections!!!
So many great ideas! Love using the post-it note for things that can change!🖤I’ve watched a lot of these and yours is definitely the one I’ll be referencing when I set up, thank you for this!!
Lauren - this is the BEST video I’ve seen on Notes pages and I stayed up so late last night trying to organize my thoughts on what I wanted. This really helped me. Keep making your videos, girl!
Thank you for the great ideas and walking us thru your choices and how you created them! I really enjoyed the feeling of sitting down and doing this with you, even the mess up parts were great to see how you changed your mind or wanted the layout different, ps I love your handwriting! Adding in additional notes pages is a great way to combine the 4 different planners and notebooks I currently use on a daily basis, there are some ideas being stolen for my future planners from this video for sure! Thank you!!
Loooove this video! I’ve been trying to think of creative ways to use my notes pages and this has helped a ton! I think a list of podcasts to try would be good - maybe not even just podcasts but tv shows, movies etc? I know I always forget recommendations from my friends and colleagues so somewhere to put them could be cool!
I love your podcast page idea! And that you listen to crime podcasts 😄 I recommend morbid: a true crime podcast 💯 I use some of my notes pages to track info and vet appointments for my 5 dogs 😅
Obviously this doesn’t apply to people not in school or without kids in school, but the only thing I’ve got that you don’t is a school schedule spread. My teen’s school has been on block scheduling, but this upcoming year they’re switching to a hybrid: Monday-Wednesday they’ll be in the traditional all 7 classes each day in 50 minute periods, and Thursday-Friday will be 4 classes per day in much longer period times. Craziness!
Thanks for this video! Great ideas. I just got my first EC planner...a little daunted at where to begin. You have so many blank pages that you have customized, way more than my life planner somes with. Is the Daily Duo different, including more blank pages??
Hi Ginger! Welcome to the EC planner family you seriously cannot go wrong with their planners. I uncoiled and recoiled my planners and "frankenplanned" (aka made a customized EC planner). You can check out more about it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V4_OLlgNo9s.html
Hey Laur! I’m so glad I found this video. I’ve had it saved for a long time and just coming back to it. I tried to find this cleaning tracker idea in Pinterest for other ideas and I can’t find it. I looked through your page (of course I followed you lol) and I still couldn’t not find it. Any suggestions?
The Peloton page was great! I have been struggling trying to figure out how to track my rides. I like the idea of writing down the milestone ride. My LB name is #seasidedoxiemom!
I really hope W&D happens this year. I didn’t register (no spare pennies for runDisney exorbitant fees lol) but I’m going down with friends who did. Your date night spread is probably my favorite though 😍
