As a person who happens to be disabled, as well has worked remodding old campers for other disabled people, even now have one I have redone for use on the road (being a touring musician, and this is the cheapest way to do so.) loved #3... Winnebago has my respects.
Agreed, Now the competition needs to follow suit, resulting in more options and competitive pricing. Out of the thousands of campers we have featured I don't recall seeing anything close to what Winne did here.
@@mindseyedesign If I had the money... I would start a RV company that addressed Disabilities and RVing - from simple things that helped older people with limited movement to people with varying physical and even cognitive disabilities enjoy what Nature has to offer, and the emotional benefits it brings. As a musician with a disability, I guess I show what possibilities can be.
I never noticed before that you have a written list besides your commentary list, I really like this because I can see at a glance (cost, hyperlink to sites). Great job guys 👍🏼🇺🇸❤ thanks for all you do.
Love the European ones with the light interiors and also the one with the blue cabinetry and no wasted space. A far cry from the boring wood panelled assembly line layout of the American models.
I love them all but my two favorites were the one that looks like a bullet train and the one with black exterior with black tinted windows. That was fine.
Thanks, I was really impressed seeing the Winne as well. Just yesterday, before this video was posted, there was discussion about handicap ramps for campers. I really hope more companies more often consider similar options in the near future.
Minds Eye Design I was just wondering about the same thing about other companies doing the same thing. I’m going on the internet after dinner to look at the different companies and if they have possible modifications. You folks are the first so thank you.
SylvanSport VAST is by far my favourite of those presented here. It is simple and still offer what You need and can be towed by most cars / trucks. Queen beds and very heavy furnitures are, in my opinion, not a must, when camping, unless for those very few extremely rich.
Yay, Reacher and campers with bathrooms! (But I do like Glen, too.) AND A WHEELCHAIR WINNEBAGO!!! I'll never be able to afford one, but I can dream and these videos help! You even shouted out to Alan Heath, he's great, already a fan!
Its hard to pick a favorite!! They all are amazing but my pick would be the Retro style. !!! Thanks again for another amazing filled show!!! Lookung forward to the next one.
You're very welcome. Thank you for making the choice for top spot an easy decision. The entire 17 min video feature could have easily belonged solely to the XC5 Triple Bunk. 👍
I do like number 3 mostly because of the wheelchair accessibility because I have a sickness that makes it hard and painfull for me to do everyday stuff. Both muscle and bone eating sickness but a slow one.
This Dingo a genuine Aussie guy who loves outback touring. I think my caravan would be the 5th wheeler small to mid-size it's just right for those outback roads. 😆
Love the handycap RV that's nice I have to use wheel chair so be nice. But my fav. The retro love the red and white very nice. Thanks for sharing. God bless
No. 8 is a sure space saving winner, No. 4 looks fantastic as well! Heads up in respect for No. 3 No. 1 is my sure favorite!! :D Why: It has solar, power taken with you anywhere
First of all. #14 A toast to the "Good Ole Days" why not! #12 Canadian viewpoint of options!#9 Rear dinette/multiple sleep options! #8 I'm down w/Reacher's comment- parents heads-up at the least let's try to minimize the arguments betw kids! #6 Airstream has so much going on while keeping up to its revered Company standards! $3 2019 Forza Accessability #2 VAST Nautilus modern/extremely functional! #! Kedron Caravan; inside shower/ triple beds/ outside kitchen! Sounds like perfection realized! Put your hands together for Alan Heath; thanks very much Sir!
Just a guess, you're not American? What country would you say manufacturers best campers in the world? I'm also interested to know wht camper company you feel is the best in the world?
The Airstream Flying Cloud featured #6 without stating the model (I think it is a 25RB), but it isn't a wet bath. Shower and vanity/toilet are separated across the isle.
Check out the adoratie 673 pk form Adria . It is a 2 doors caravan designed for families with teenagers . We have one. It is really luxurious and a great caravan to show in your video.
DAVE'S PIC, THE 'HONORABLE MENTION' was pretty cool, but that bed pod should have more airspace over it... maybe the curtaind from the pop-up roof could extend over it at an angle, giving more headspace at one end of the pod?
if you turn the volume off they do. Are you saying it was too loud? If so that is shocking because I couldn't music most the video. I felt it was too low.. Another option is turn the volume down and use closed captions. Thanks for the feedback.
Awe now every Englishman needs a castle for the road and every castle...a Throne!,so having a decent Throne/potty makes all the difference(bunks too Mr R).My baby would be the Evoke L or The Camper Van with a trailer with room for a small Trail bike and a Jet ski, that's me n my hound gone for the summer. BTW Minds Eye keeps bringing the dreams...uh KUDOS!.
Thanks a million. Love them all but number 2 is pure genius. It compares well with the VW Grand California which I suggest you review some time. I figure if you can design a camper, designing an ordinary house is a piece of cake so I be using your included sets of plans to recreate these in 3D. One thing puzzled me! I thought that the designers would have a red line - either the shower/WC and cooker/ sink units would be standard off-the-shelf goods for the larger campers, or they would be micro-sized custom made. However, many campers in this selection have mixtures.
I do also wonder how the designers come to some decisions especially some of these clever storage ideas. My main concern with campers is a lot of companies are always trying to make them lighter, and in my mind lighter doesn't mean longer lasting. When I go to look at campers and i'm walking around, fairly often, they don't feel solid or well built. I've looked at brand new mobile homes that were never used and could see the wall trim peeling back. I thought the latches seemed dependable, except there's more that can go wrong with those mechanisms and how well will they stand up over time? Traveling in a motorhome, I could see myself using a lot of velcro. On a side note, I find velcro an excellent desk cord management tool.
Duly noted, both triple bunk beds and apocalypse-proof. A unique and unparalleled combination that at the same time, is good to know! I just left a comment mentioning how easy it would have been to make the entire video solely about the Kedron.
Heads up to those interested in the Pro-Lite models or any model with edge banded seams. They are hard to seal and keep sealed, and given the stick frame substantial wood rot can occur before you notice the problem. I’ve arrived at a camping site after driving in the rain to find the mattress completely soaked. When I spoke to the dealer, they knew exactly what was wrong before I finished my sentence. Ditto for the retro w the coregated siding, never going to seal that either.
Winnebago… For us right now anything under 60,000 that’s good. We’re preparing to move to the Oregon coast little over a year… So we’ve been looking for possibly used trailer… Or new depending on the price. The plan is to also have a log cabin… Amish made
