Nice old transformer but its pretty rusty. What is it feeding? Did you make this video because its going to be replaced with a new transformer or do you just like it. They don't make 'em like that any more.
Unless you have electric water and space heating, that will do 2 rural houses east with diversity. 15kva is about 60 amps at 240 volts, which is the normal supply fuse in the UK for a domestic property.
I just had an interesting conversation with a coworker about his breaker panel. Blew his mind when i told him to add up the cutout ratings kn the breakers, and compare it to the main.@techone2074
@@robertschemonia5617yes that’s usually the case as diversity has been calculated into the design. In general purpose or domestic installations it is unlikely that all circuits will be fully loaded.
Ehh enough for a stovetop and oven. You would have gas cooking and hot water and not electric anyways in a rural house. If the transformer is 15kva they probably have a 50 amp mains fuse.
