I did a long term review of the M2 MacBook Air 15 after 1 month of use and this is what I got! Does it make sense to buy this laptop from Apple now? What errors and bugs can occur when using this MacBook for a long time? Yes, I certainly did not expect such results! How profitable is it now to buy M2 MacBook Air? Nothing left without my attention today! I advise you to be sure to watch this video from beginning to end to find out the results of the long-term review of the M2 MacBook Air after 1 month of use!

Why are most Macbook reviews too focused on video editing capabilities? Are we all editors and content creators? The general public uses a laptop for basic browsing, word processing, email uses. I have this laptop at the base model, and it works perfectly fine. Who in their right mind will open 40 tabs in chrome anyway?

I am a visual artist and what I do is using cloud based app for images and a very light editing work. I use an Imac Intek I5 8gb 1Tb stockage yes it is slow but it is still capable. We are not all Nolan or even Basquiat. For an artist even the base model is fine and when I work I don´t open 40 tabs, making Pemiere and Photoshop running at the same time. Those guys to be paid by Apple to push you to buy a Pro model. I think also really arrogant to say that this machine is jus for "ordinary people" I consiuder myself as an ordinary people and the fact I do art won´t change anything.

Some reviewers complain that 40 Chrome tabs slows the computer down. Who needs 40 tabs? 10-15 tabs is the maximum I ever have open and that is only when I have a difficult coding problem.

The average person does NOT have that many pages open. However I have the 512gb model and I love it. I actually traded the m2 Pro 16 for it and saved over a 1000.00. I just wanted the 16 for the size, but this 15 is perfect and the sound on this MacBook 15 is amazing considering the price.

Hi, I'm currently considering which MacBook to choose, and I wanted to ask you which one, in your opinion, would be a better choice. The new MacBook 15 Air with M2, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. A used MacBook Pro 16 with M1, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD. I mainly intend to use it for photography, editing images in programs like Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and for live photo previews, internet browsing, and working with text documents. I should note that I don't edit a large number of photos in my workflow, just small sessions. The MacBook Air 15 with M2 is appealing to me due to its lighter weight and greater mobility, as well as its long battery life. However, the price is quite high, so I would probably go with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD to keep costs down. On the other hand, a used MacBook Pro 16 with M1 would offer a larger 512 GB SSD and 16 GB RAM. It has a better display, speakers, an SD card reader, and an HDMI port. Unfortunately, it is considerably heavier and bulkier, which might make typing and carrying it around less convenient compared to the Air 15 with M2. I would be very grateful for your response.

one more thing I luv apple is its bold ideas, I still remember the first iPad Pro 12.9" it probably launched in 2015, 2016 maybe. everyone was so pissed off, but the moment I took it out of my bag, people can't stop watching at it. man that was marvellous, all yelled at apple and apple removed the bezels and made the current pro smaller. now the biggest critique Samsung launch the same size tablet in 2022 or 2023, and people are running to get that cuz that size apple already discontinued. I still wish apple launch just one time iPad Pro 15" at least I will buy it and never update it like I'm still doing. apple stuff work for life no need to update every year.

I got the 15-inch Macbook air with the 24GB RAM & 256 SSD. The reason why I went with this because I use an external monitor and do a-lot of multitasking. I know people will say " but you should have went with the Pro". I get it, but if I went with the pro, it would be more than $2k plus tax just for a Pro Version, and I do not really need that HDMI port or SD card slot since I mostly use an external hard drive. I dit not regret my decision and for under $1700 with the 24GB RAM, it was well worth it for me.

This is what youtubers do: use any laptop to do their specific job, which is usually video editing, thus judging wheter laptop is good for work or not. No, this laptop is not dedicated for any workload like this and thats why its called Air, instead of Pro. Dont let anyone tell you that bigger SSD or RAM upgrade is necessary, it will be just fine for office and networking.

8gb ram is fine. Remember, this is a MacBook Air. It’s not meant to be handling multiple professional apps at the same time, and chrome is probably the worst web browser for your resources. @juliusjacob1416
@juliusjacob1416 10 месяцев назад
@@unknownposter2075I wouldn’t be so sure. In EU if I spec a MBA 15 with 16/512, the price is pretty much the same as a MBP 14 M2. But the thing is, the Air has a lot of actual real world usability benefits over the Pro: it’s lighter, bigger, thinner (all make portability and lap-use a lot more comfortable) and the battery life lasts significantly longer. I just bought an MBP 14 M2 and I’m kinda considering returning it for an upgraded Air 15 because of the benefits I just mentioned. I barely use the power of the M2 chip anyway. Haven’t decided yet though because the screen of the pro is so gorgeous.
@unknownposter2075
@unknownposter2075 10 месяцев назад
@@juliusjacob1416The weight difference is literally 0.2 pounds, so I wouldn't really consider that an advantage so to say. Yes, the MacBook Pro is thicker and SLIGHTLY heavier, but the specs provided will get you MUCH farther than a base MacBook Air 15. You get a brighter display, 120 hz refresh rate, double the RAM, double the storage, much better speakers, much stronger processor, HDMI port, 1 extra USB C port, MagSafe charging, SD card slot. Everything I just listed all have real life application/benefits according to your logic. Just having safari up with 1 extra tab and resource manager shows 6.2 GB of RAM being eaten up as I type this. If you're choosing a device primarily for portability sake, sure, you can go with the MacBook Air. However, for the same price point based off your previous point, you are letting go of a crapton of benefits the 14 inch provides. EDIT: Considering the purchase of a MacBook is an investment that you're looking to use for years, the MacBook Pro will get you much better mileage in comparison to the 15 inch 16 GB of RAM MacBook Air due to the souped up processor, better quality screen, better speakers, more ports, and more.

@@TimelyAdventure haven’t really noticed those to be honest. When I’m more uncomfortable with is the size. Thought that too until I got the MBA 15”. Love the size and it is still very portable don’t even notice the weight difference and its just as thin as my 13” intel MBA which I still have and will probably sell soon since I haven’t touched it since lol. Its nice that we now have a choice in sizes. Get what suits your needs. Everyone has their preferences. Need more ram get it, need more storage get it. Want a pro get that. Just sick of reviewers and commentators hating on certain models because it doesn’t suit their fancy. Theres plenty of options out there. I agree that a updated 11” model would be great as well for people who need ultra portability. As far as phones true our hands aren’t getting any bigger but most of us as we age our eyesight is getting a little more fuzzier lol a larger screen phone although a little more cumbersome helps a lot especially when you don’t want to pull out your readers every time you want to check a message. If you want smaller they have smaller versions available as well.
@Spazza42
@Spazza42 10 месяцев назад
@@Toby-vj3os It's only portable for people than daily with a 20-30L backpack. I use a small messenger style camera bag that holds up to an 11" iPad - "portable" is very subjective. I completely agree with more options/choices being better and it's not to invalidate what others want from a laptop, I'm just seeing a trend of everything getting bigger and they're being no other option. A 15" MBA is a welcome addition but it's completely impractical for my use case. From my experience the majority of people wanting larger phones are under 25 too so eyesight isn't really an issue, I think people just want to be able to watch TV on their phones now rather than having to carry a laptop, which I get. The smallest phone Apple sells now has a 6" screen which is a far cry from my old 1st gen SE that had a 4" screen. I'm not arguing btw, everyone has their preferences - my only complaint would be that everything is going the same direction of bigger everything. No issue with a 6.5" iPhone Pro Max, but I sure as hell won't buy one.
