15 MIN BOOTY WORKOUT - Level: Medium, slow Pilates Style, knee friendly, no squats I Booty Band

Floor Only ♥︎ a Pilates-inspired workout. A slow way to make those butt cheeks buuuuuurn! Bonus: No thigh work! / Werbung
We all know… „low impact“ doesn’t mean it’s not gonna burn :D I thought of a million ways to perform a Booty Kickback: Straight, Bent, Pulses, Twisted, Half Table Top, Straight Fire Hydrant, and sooo on. One exercise along might not be hard - but the COMBINATION does the magic!
▸ knee friendly, no squats, lunges or jumps
▸ suitable if you have bad joints or suffer from knee pain
▸ only Booty! Very minimal thigh strength needed
▸ a slow workout. No sweat, only strength.
It's super important that you THINK about your glutes during every second of those 15min and try to make them BURN. Means you try to
1) squeeze your butt for every repetition
2) move your leg with the "strength" of your glutes and not by swinging
3) don't release tension and relax at the lower point of the motion (e.g. the lower point of a glute bridge), but rather KEEP the tension during the entire movement and squeeze "even more" at the upper point of the motion.

Booty Band: Definitely makes it more efficient! If you don’t have one, you can still perform this workout without equipment though.
If you need breaks - TAKE THEM! Don't worry too much about that. You will improve over time :) that's the best feeling! The video is in full length which means you can just follow whatever I’m doing 30s for each exercise.

Woaaah one of the best sunrises we ever had, right? 🥲😍 mom and me woke up in the dark almost every day on the Maldives, to film a video in the best light! I have sooo many more coming. Plus, I couldn't stop laughing during the Glute Bridges when the wind made the Booty Band flutter hahaha. I wish that oooone day... you can also do a Glute Bridge in a wind. It felt soooo funny lol.

@@lennihco I don't agree with you here. The band does help me engage my glutes, hard. Without the band I can't do it no matter how hard I try.

@@lennihco I don't know if you speak from experience or it's because you already get used to heavy weights so you don't feel the effect of the band. It does add tension compared to working out without it, make the workout harder. I really feel it in my butt. "Engaging" doesn't mean "working"? If so, why do I see a lot of fitness guru tell people to do it? 🤷. Of course the band can't be compared to lifting heavy weights but you can't say it's useless. Don't even mention gym, it's obvious that going to the gym is more effective than doing home workouts.

Hey! If your butt is burning then it’s right but if not one thing that might help is din g much smaller movements, for example the first workout (kickback) instead of lifting your leg as high so it only a little. Don’t feel disappointed if you have to do this, it just means your flutes aren’t strong enough yet and it’s better to start small then hurt yourself!

For those who say its hard. I spent 2 years bed bound, lost so much muscles i couldnt walk. First it was no bands and just tears. Pain in ankles, in knees and wrists. Few months later here i am walking again. Thank you pamela

Ich fände das würde deutlich mehr Spaß machen, wenn sie einfach pro Übung die Seiten switcht und nicht immer non stop auf eine Seite geht und erst dann wechselt. Jaja der Pump is mehr da, aber erstens macht das weniger Spaß und ist sicherlich nicht sinnvoller wie einfach die Seiten zu wechseln nach jeder Übung. Ich fände es schön wenn auch einfach mal Workouts kommen wo man jede Übung auf jeder Seite macht und dann erst die nächste Übung. Klar kann ich das so auch für mich machen, aber dann brauch ich nen extra Counter oder muss ständig zurück spule, weil sie sonst ja immer schon in der Übung weiter ist.
