Releasing the hamstrings and quads through stretching and mobility exercises can provide them some much needed relief as well as optimize your power, speed and efficiency on the bike. A stretching and mobility routine can also ease or prevent knee pain as one of the most common causes of anterior knee pain is muscle tightness in the hamstrings and quads.
This 15 minute routine is from our Daily Stretching and Mobility program and focuses on stretching and mobilizing the hamstrings and quads. We recommend doing our Stretching & Mobility routines after a workout, right when you wake up, or used as a cool-down after a ride.
