Hell yeah, I swear you read my mind. I go to your channel for literally any of my training needs for rasp and I’m currently in my AIT now and gritty you have made me a beast. I did my RASP physical test yesterday for practice and I max every event and I have to thank you. With your advice and hard work, I’m going to be in regiment. That being said, I was sore today and realized I really need to start stretching to restrain myself from getting injured and sure enough, you posted this. Every time I need some sort of workout routine to get the maximum output out of myself, you somehow post about it recently or posted it within the week. I truly do want to thank you and it was truly a honor meeting you in person as well. I’m not a religious person but I do believe that everything happens for a reason and I truly believe you were my Ranger guardian angel sent to ihop lol. Just 21 more weeks and I’ll send you a picture of that Ranger scroll
Wow good to hear from you brother!!! Crazy how times flies, you’re already in AIT. You got me in your corner, but it’s YOU that’s making everything happen. Keep it up! Send me that pic!!!
In the years I've used RU-vid I've never posted a comment until now. I've been binging your videos ever since I decided to enlist and the information you provide is UNBELIEVABLY VALUABLE. Thank you for helping me prepare for an important period in my life.
THIS!!! Exactly what I needed! Hey GS, I bought the boots you recommended- Garmont NFS. Love 'em! I did like I told you I would and started rucking again. I used to do it in the Army and did it for fun many times- 50 lbs from JFTB Los Alamitos to Huntington Beach pier, approximately 20 miles, Medium Alice pack with the #2 frame. That was a few decades ago..... I still have, and use that old pack. Love it. Now I live in Alaska and ruck 30 lbs on the old logging roads out here. I am 59 years old and am battling HBP now. I am currently using a road that is a mile in and a mile back out. But the hills are numerous and some of them BRUTAL. First couple of times kicked the hell out of me. I am slowly getting my breath back. I'm getting stronger. Now I am trying to learn more to improve even more. I am looking at your food videos now too. I have actually cut my sugar and salt intake drastically. I only have one cup of coffee per day (morning) and I have cut my Copenhagen habit in half (working towards eventually quitting). I am working on a rucking goal- there is a mountain pass that I want to ruck up. It's about 2 miles up. Brutal hills. I am trying to get in shape to conquer that. I want to ruck 50 lbs up and I also carry my G23 10mm in a Kenai rig in my chest, so that's a little more weight (bears and wolves....). Thank you GS, for what you do here. You may have saved my life.
Been trying to do 1 of 2 of these every day and It has been great. I'm looking forward to trying the new ab workout tomorrow! Its good for making sure I stay active while going to school but I need to start rucking and running again for sure. I know its a bit schmaltzy but I really appreciate the uploads. Seeing the Gritty Soldier genuinely getting after it and perusing an admirable goal with excellence is inspiring!
I'm loving this routine Gritty. But I've made a few adaptations. I've made the limb extensions dynamic, like the reach throughs. And instead of doing 2 minutes of neck pulling instead I do 30 seconds of cat cows, 30 seconds of sitting wide leg adductor stretch, and 60 seconds of 90/90 hip stretch. Thanks for the inspiration! Keep killing it!
High quality workouts, a lot of them are also my favorits to stay strong and healthy even during hard endurance workouts. Stretch routines will keep you free from injuries, so important. Keep it up Gritty Soldier!
@@GrittySoldier Thanks...Age? I'm interested in how you maintain significant muscle running 40+ miles a week + doing ultras. What do you take to boost testoterone and speed up recovery? Logic points to needing more than protein and a few supplements running that much.
Gritty bro ive been watching your videos for a few weeks now in prep for ranger school in April! They've been super helpful and going to buy your ranger school PT plan soon! Is there any way to reach out to you?
If you can build a pull up bar right outside of your front door. Everytime you go in or out of your front door do 10 pull ups. Then go and do 3x10 pull ups everyday. In 3 months you will be a monster!
