Your channel has given me so much hope! I have been so lost in trying to recover from misdiagnosis and medication overload from doctors. Your clear and well explained explanations as well as the guidance you offer give me the courage to move forward. I can’t thank you enough for the work you’re doing! Bless you
I have lung cancer and though it can easily be blamed on my pot smoking, I attribute 95% of it to my ptsd. Now that I'm focused on healing my trauma, I've been dealing with very painful sciatica. With your help, I'm slowly healing from it which I know will also help me heal my lungs. I now understand that it's all connected. You are such a valuable healer and teacher. I look forward to writing to you when I'm fully healed. Thank you. 🙏💚🙏
@@kayleighmitchell8853 Hi, I'm doing great! No pain. It took around 6 to 8 weeks of just consistently doing the somatic tracking exercise every morning or almost every morning but the pain just dissolved one day.
This is wonderful. I found it very helpful to envision how I would comfort a child feeling the way I do ( fearful and in fight/flight mode) . Thinking of ways to impart safety to the nervous system throughout the rest of the day is also extremely helpful. My pain, both emotional and physical, eased during this meditation. Thank you so much Tanner!
How can I decrease my perfectionism and people pleasing to cultivate ease. Wonderful!! I love this so much! I chose this video as my meditation for the next 21 days.
I really love your channel. A lot of what you teach I’ve learned and am healing through primal trust. Somatics, slowing down and acceptance have been huge in my recovery. It’s nice to have you walk us through these calming exercises with your soothing voice. Thank you for what you do and the gold you offer for free 🙏❤️✌️
Thank you Tanner. You've helped me improve a little from CRPS. I'm doing many things every day to try and help myself. and your videos sometimes play a part and give me new ideas. Thanks for your time and advice.
Love this Tanner! But for those of us with sensations of exhaustion from "CFS/ME," 15 minutes is a little too long - I always fall asleep. (Thankfully you have others that are only 10 minutes.) I wonder - I took a yoga and mindfulness course from a TERRIBLE doctor with no real training in yoga. She never once walked around to see if we were doing the postures correctly. My physio later shrieked when I showed her the posture that caused an injury - "Stop doing that right now! You're putting terrible stress on your pelvis and wrecking your sacroiliac - Uh Oh." Specialists later confirmed that. The injury didn't heal I now known due to inescapable stresses at the time. Might THAT what is making my Crocodile brain give me sleepy sensations? It associates mindfulness with the injury? (Did the same with yoga once, but I learned to ignore that - but it's hard to ignore passing out cold!) That would make a huge amount of sense.
Yes shorter practices could be useful here! We often bring negative emotions or dysregulation from past experiences with certain practices, that we need to work through.
