We... we couldn't think of a more imaginative title...
ANYWAY, Marvel movies have always tended to allow the actors who star in them to be creative - and that's resulted in countless moments that you probably didn’t even know weren’t scripted.
You might be surprised that some of these moments involving the likes of Robert Downey Jr. (who plays Tony Stark AKA Iron Man in the MCU), Chris Pratt (who plays Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord in the MCU), Chris Hemsworth (who plays Thor in the MCU), and Benedict Cumberbatch (who plays Stephen Strange AKA Doctor Strange in the MCU) were completely ad-libbed - though you might be less surprised at the fact that one of them sees RDJ humorously trying to one-up his good buddy Tom Holland (who plays Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man in the MCU).
There's a chance you won't look at certain scenes in these Marvel movies in the same way ever again!

Alvin Niel I’m not excited that Natalie Portman is in it. She ruined the other Thor movies in my opinion, and I don’t want her back. She left by herself and I feel like she wants to come back because of the fame Marvel and Thor has gotten over the years... (obviously I don’t know but that’s how I feel...) Ragnarok was the best because she wasn’t there to distract him and he could be funny.

Natalie Beck She signed into because they told her there would be a woman director for the second Thor movie - the woman who ended up directing the smash hit “Wonder Woman”. I don’t remember why it was changed, but Portman has been in the entertainment industry for DECADES and it’s well known how hard it is to become a director if you’re a woman, and/or be recognized with male counterparts around awards season, and/or get the chance to direct movies for big mainstream projects like this. So she had some right to feel slighted, considering in the second Thor movie in a lot of the scenes they feel reduced to nothing or get killed like Frigga. Given that she’s adapting the more recent Thor comics where Jane takes over as Thor, and Taika is known for being a good guy (and they’re both Jewish) and fair...Probably easier for her to accept this time round.

@@doriwilson6991 It's actually a case of Whedon being a terrible writer (on top of all the other terrible things he is). Captain America was a SOLDIER from Brooklyn. He should have been the most foul-mouthed of them all but instead Whedon, in both Avengers films he was involved with, wrote Cap off as some prudish boy scout Pollyanna. I'm grateful that he was NOT foul-mouthed, but I am so glad the Russos made Cap feel like a real person as opposed to just a walking cliche.

He shares the blame/kudos with Thor, who went for the glory kill as opposed to the direct kill, but it's really all on Doctor Strange. He knew everything that was going to happen from looking into the future. Everyone that got dusted is on all three of their hands...But it's like Gandalf at the end of the Battle for Minas Tirith in Return of the King. The most blood is ultimately on his.

There were good bits in it between him and Loki and Thor just generally being Thor, but the whole story around the "bad guy" and that stone was not well written and should never have made it into a film - in my opinion, of course. Stories truly are often as good as their villains.

Honestly, while I wouldn't say Thor: The Dark World is as good as most of the MCU, I think it's still better than the first Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and both of the Iron Man sequels.

@@SithCats No argument about the iron man sequences (they could've gone with such better villains, sigh...). The first Thor grew on me I guess - didn't like it the first time, and well, Hemsworth and Portman just don't really have the required chemistry (Thor is not a romantic character to begin with). Incredible hulk I sorta liked - not the best by far, but certainly the beginning was quite all right, goes downhill once the romantic interest arrives.

What’s amazing is... if Starlord didn’t mess up the first attack on Thanos, they may have defeated him, which would have possibly prevented Gamora from returning. Therefore him messing things up was actually a positive in the long run. Mind blown!

Thor Ragnarok was 80% ad libbed? No wonder it feels relaxed, fun and much closer to home compared to the previous two Thor movies.

Without a doubt, it saved THOR, and Chris himself said that the hair loss was a biggie for him, because the hair was a killer to do in Makeup. I loved the other two films, and there is nothing really wrong with them, they were supposed to be as they were, but the humour that we got, was certainly allowing us to enjoy the MCU a lot better. IT made them feel more normal, rather than it all being ultra serious etc, so yeah, to say it felt relaxed is I agree pretty much spot on.
