I’m glad I pulled through, despite the crises. I am retiring next yr at 55 with 3 houses paid off worth 4.5 million . One is my place of residence the other 2 properties will give me $80,000per/yr rent . I will have an income stream of $20,000 per yr through my super which gives me total $100,000 a yr to live comfortably . I have no debts ... Stay Motivated!!

Honestly without any degree of exaggeration, I don't buy or agree with the 90 percent of your presentation about the four hour work week book because I read the book so many times partly and several times from cover to cover and I'm practicing the many insightful ideas of the book so many years before the pandemic until nowadays. The book is efficient and effective when practice by a real deal smart and intelligent person. The book is for the very few of the world population because it's a real deal working progress whether you'll exactly do four hour working hours every week or more than four hours every week. I watched dozens of Aluxe videos and I'm sharing Aluxe videos with so many people for so many years but on this presentation of yours on the four-hour work week book I'll give you a below-average rating or just an average rating. When you're reading the book so many times in part or many times from cover to cover and applying it through adjustments as time progresses, you can advocate the book is a real deal tool. Anyway, thank you more than words can express for everything priceless and sensible Aluxe through the years.

I guess, along their journey, as Alux refined their ways of seeing the world they realised that "The 4 Hour Workweek" might be overrated by them and by others. Just like we will call the bullshit on something that we held so dear to when we were younger. It is mostly because we have more experience now and know better than we did then.

I realised the whole book was suspect when he claimed to learn mandarin in like 6 months or a year. I can't remember which. He said he had the crazy idea of learning the radicals (parts of what make up each pictograph) and that sped things u0 enourmously. Trouble is, thats literally how Mandarin is taught pretty much in every book and course. His other tall tales become more suspect as a result.

It is all about perspective. Tim never did say you would be an expert, just precisely that it would be possible to appear to be one and that it's necessary for people to accept what you say. Countess situations are this way and people and ads fake it alllll the time. Just put on a white coat and some glasses and boom you're a doctor 😆 ads are the worst. Don't forget your clip board. If you look back on the years back to 2007 this book is literally priceless and 100% on point. It may be tougher these days because so many people realized this is possible and now everyone wants to make passive income. I only wish I had read this book back then. Understanding the principles and finding a good way for them to work for you is the point. Videos like this just reduce people's hopes and attempt to keep them asleep and running on the hampster wheel, because obviously we still need stupid workers to support the rich.

By the way the News totally sucks and is obviously constantly negative or it wouldn't be news. I personally literally never watch or read the news and it affects my life none. There's actually very little or nothing at all most people can do about the news or even affect their lives having the knowledge of all the negative things that have or are happening.

I am sick of the 9 to 5 job being bashed all the time. 40 hours a week is hard work but it is also good money and a stable job that alot of people could only dream of considering how many people are struggling to make it with 2 part time jobs.

And also, if you don’t like your job you can always quit and get another one. “It’s not that easy” Well, actually yes it is. “But theres no other jobs around here” Then go to where they are. “But I like where I’m living, I don’t want to move” Then shut uo and go to work.

CEOs don't delegate because they are lazy and want to work 4 hours a week. They delegate because it is not their job, their job is creating and overseeing a system that generates profit. Even if you delegate, this in itself will take too much of your time. If you don't delegate, it's impossible and you are not generating jobs.

Listen… I don’t want to be that negative person but I definitely got bad “vibes” from this book right off the bat… I mean doesn’t he starts the revised book (2009) but saying he’d been hustling nonstop in New York. Another thing that hit me was how “white-coded” the whole idea was. I’m sure others from around the world (he mentions this in the intro also) could have made it work but let’s be real there are much bigger problems than being antiauthority the average POC has to get past to get anywhere near the lifestyle he promotes and most of us “non-first-worlders” can’t simply decide to pop on over to Europe because we got a little overwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a minimalist myself and totally adhere to slow living but to attempt to create a manipulated version of reality is simply not sustainable. I’m glad I read the book because it got me to think critically about the lifestyle most take for granted or believe is the only way but I wouldn’t recommend this style of thinking to anyone, rather do what you can with what you have and be grateful while trying your best.
