One thing that makes Poko's lack of return tragic is that his Japanese eReader card says he's Ike's son. Ike is still around but not his son which is really sad because it would be cute to have the two of them together. I agree that Poko would very likely be a fan favorite since I find him to be one of the cutest villagers for both the jock personality and the cub species. Dozer would definitely stand out with his sleepy personality, and I could see him being a popular one. Three cute mouse villagers I would love to see return are Carmen (who would be re-named due to the rabbit villager taking her original name), Flossy and Penny. I think at least one of them could be a sisterly type since we don't have any sisterly mice, and Hazel is the only rodent villager in general to have this personality.
i feel like it’s highly likely the Legend of Zelda and Splatoon characters will make a comeback closer to the release dates of Breath of the Wild 2 and Splatoon 3. i feel like they’re waiting for the LoZ team to hurry up and finish the game so they can bring back old classic furniture like the master sword and triforce and others
My #1 requested villager is Huggy. She always bounced between my town and my brothers. She was so cute and nice! Honorable mention would be Carrie because I don’t think she returned?
