Results! I quit smoking - no cigs for 3 months so far. I joined the gym and go at least 3 days a week. I've altered my diet and how I handle money for food: no coffee shop coffees, more fresh food, no fast food or take out lunches, I make my lunch and have no-spending days, "dessert" is a health snack or fruit instead of sweets. More filtered water in BPA free water bottles instead of disposable water bottles or tap water....and more and more work to be done.
I am a Brazilian, and I have been studying english by myself, without any School, and I can understand every thing you say.... Your Channel definitly change my life.
As for #16 it is so true! I had a mentor in Los Angeles who was trying to have me be more accountable and not come up with excuses on why I am not where I want to be in life or not doing what I should be doing to get there and at first he was pounding on me so hard that he made me cry but after observing and analyzing what he was saying I now understand. And now I do the same thing.

Results! I have the Audiobook version of Atomic Habits, and I'm gonna listen to it today. i'm commenting on this video in 2022 and I've been eating healthier foods, taking online courses to learn new skills, ordered 2 books to read and trying to do the things that scares me. I'm practicing on tracking my progress and taking it one step at a time one day at a time without feeling overwhelmed.
Results. Thank you for the motivations. Since I can't move a mountain all at once, I strive to move a few pebbles every day. My apartment was a mess. Fear of illness motivated me to clean up. At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of clutter and garbage that surrounded me. Of 7 rooms, I got 5 cleaned so far. Working on the last 2 rooms right now. Every time I think of quitting, I think of the mess and chaos I lived in for much too long. I'm paving a way for my business and the rest of my life and this is my way of moving pebbles and realize that I have moved a mountain in short time.
Always happy to listen to these Sunday motivational videos ALUX. In our culture we have this saying, "single drops make a river" which means that small effort over time adds up to great success. Oh! I almost forgot 'RESULTS'. Let's trump those who don't watch until the end.
Results. The funny thing about this video to me is that I've started doing some of the things you suggested; I've written down my goals, I've started exercising daily, in January of this year I picked 26 books on writing ( my passion ) that want to read this year and I'm on book 19 now, I've been applying the things that I'm learning, a friend invited me to go to the Philippines in January.
I've applied this principals not thanks to this video but to other on the alux channel (this knowlage isnt new) and the results were amazing. Just to name few: 1) cognitive habilities and world view went on steroids immediately after listing to the first audibook and first book red (6 months ago, now im listing to 2 self-improvement audiobook per month) 2) excersice: the amount of energy that this routine inyecta is incredible. You stay more focus and less tired hence you do more with less which means you get more free time to improve yourself furthermore. Excercise is a keystone habit. Put yourself under manageable yet challenging stress. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger

Important to me changes I have made: stopped smoking, got control of my finances, become more active, These have had a huge effect, positive one, on my life.
Result! Man, really great to be here listening to the tips as inspiration and knowledge. I'm turning a new leaf in my life again, and have been coming here to your channel for support. I started my success journey when I got clean from heroin and drugs in 2010 after a decade of intravenous, 18-28. I've lived in that life since i grew up in that environment. This path of self discovery and facing my fears and the deep personal challenges as the result of what i had to deal with when i changed my life.... I just keep hitting new heights internally and recently left the cigs for good after stopping for years, then going back after experiencing a couple of severe traumas, again in my life and went back to it for a year. Cigs are done for fucking good now! I'm still literally in the same location though... like where i used heroin, went to college and started working and dealing with PTSD... literally most of it in my life. I've done a tremendous amount of inner work and I'm ready to take my life even further. I've studied and have taken in a large amount of information related to personal growth work and business over the years, but my head and heart... me, needed to be correct. All of this information of yours has gotten me going again and i decided to cut some really poor people out of my circle this week. luckily my city is big enough to find new people that have an interest in business to create a new network. It took me a year of analyzing this situation of mine before finally committing to me and my needs, again. I've taken on some serious challenges and have had to deal with unwanted burdens in my life, and handled them, so this business and personal growth chart and goal setting should be a piece of cake. Self discipline and my daily routine is what i know I need right now. Thank you, peace and love
Hello, Alux! I'm not sure how effective my "results" will be, but I know that I certainly want to change. I'm also aware of where some of those changes need to take place. Get results doing 15 sensible things right away. Terrific insight! I’m already well on my way to doing the steps. One step is taking care of my money. It’s kind of a pain but I add up all bank accounts and investments and add up all of the debts and put it in my journal every day and then minus from yesterday the net worth. Seems stupid and it seems like why don’t people do this but what it does for me it gives me a razor like focus when I’m ready to spend money. In addition it makes me realize that time is more precious than the money and that if I would’ve started this last week, last month, last year, last decade where would I be tomorrow.
I'm 71 & worked do governments for 40 years. I was forced out to pasture at 62. I have to bring in more income. I have a master of business administration & a realtors license. I also work for McDonald's in the morning shift as they are my current cash flow. Thanks.

Thanks Alux i am dying to start my journey now i lost a love one and it almost destroyed my life too .I was depressed and felt dejected Now i feel a much positive energy returning as i try to let go those who caused me pain

Honestly getting my braces even at 26 made a major difference. It was expensive and I worked for a long time for them but braces and a haircut turned my confidence 180
I'm watching this video today on March 19, 2021 and for the first time even though I have been a so called "Aluxer" from a bit of time earlier than this video was launched (if publishing date is correct) and trust me exactly from time around the publishing of this video has been the phase from when I have been doing like 11-12 things of what is mentioned in this video and today at this date and time I feel I am at a lot successful point from what and where I have been but mentally I'm kinda broke. It maybe anxiety or probably a bit of depression and maybe my lowest mental point (no I'm not thinking of suicide :p I really don't find that as a solution). I hope whatever I have done until now (as mentioned in the video) gets to help me and probably from this lowest point of mine, things get really changed and take off as in the quotation goes "you find faith or things happening when you least expect it or kinda give up". Have a good folks!
Just wanted to let you know Aluxers, I am eating Salad like no tomorrow; I have lost 16lbs in 60 days; My LDL and HDL are better and my clothes are starting to get baggy. With a big thank you to Jesus and Thank you for your encouragement!!!
Results! So far I've already done all of these small things except for travelling. I'm saving now so that I can go somewhere foreign earlier next year hopefully.
#results I’m already working on some of these goals, I’m down 8 pounds and will start working out tonight at my works gym. I bought my own car after years of sharing one with my husband, and I’m applying for QMA classes at work. I already shower daily and try to look my best otherwise ;)

I agree with every single point on this list however I lack time , there's very little you can do after you work the majority of the day How do you choose what to do with the spare hours ? Going to the gym ? Educate yourself ? Cook a healthy dinner Never mind going out or going on holidays and such How do you choose what to give up when every thing enhances the other ?
OMG, I Actually started!!! let me share my story. I mean may seem dumb to some, but honestly 2 months and I had major impact on my life. Doing something scary: I moved out from one town to another 1000 km apart with no job offer and only my savings. Good enough reason I had to leave home because it was abusive and I was suicidal. If I did not leave, I would die. Healthy food We all learned we need it, but for 2 weeks while alone I ate only carbs and protein, I felt hungry and tired. Thinking that can't be right since I ate 3 meals a day, one day I added more veggies. BOOM! Instsnt change in 1 day! I decided to add it to my diet no excuses I did this while still attending college and jobless. So yeah I didn't even let University stop me. Cut out one adictive thing Well there is no TV in my house, partly because I can't aford it, but I realized even when I'm near a TV I don't need one. Take care of hair I have an afro and got a Big Chop to get rid of chemically processed hair. For the first time in 5 years I'm caring for my hair as best I can with little money. All these changes Actually make me very happy, don't get me wrong the struggle in Africa for youth is real and I'm still scared, but my desire to fight increased, my happiness increased and my hope for a future increased. Thanks alux for showing me that I am on the right track. PS I am still going to graduate.
