The whole “they die if they run out of gas” thing is false because in cars 1 McQueen tries to escape Radiator Springs but runs out of gas before he could cross the county line. Reason why? They drained the fuel out of his tank while he was passed out as Sally herself said. So this indeed contradicts the actual canon. And there have been multiple characters throughout the franchise that ran out of gas. Especially in Maters Tall Tales. Yes. I am a cars fan. Gotta stick to the canon CMON DISNEY/PIXAR!!!!
They even showed a wine bottle in the final episode, which was also in Cars 2, leaving us to question - how do cars pop the cork out of it? Maybe the pitties can only do that.
I think the way cars dying is the most interesting yet complex thing to explain. There have been engine failures, oil leaks, gas tanks not full, yet cars have not died. The only death we see is of Rod Redline in Cars 2. He died because of his engine block failing and blowing up. It's hard to tell what else can kill a car. An explosion is obvious, but if they can live with engine failures (Otis Cars 2) then how long do they truly live? Do they just... die naturally?
I didn't think of the gas problem until this video. I just thought they were emptying gas and then maybe you know what I mean with Mater since no gas means he could stay there. Since I remembered in Cars 1 when McQueen runs out of gas around the Radiator Springs sign
If you actually watched Cars OnThe Road, Lightning tells Cruz that they're both still racing. Also his "paint job" was entirely different in Cars 3 because it was a heat-shrunken wrap applied by Rust-eze to monitor his training progress. It got ripped to pieces during the Moonshine run in Thomasville during training.
They actually shown the Champagne in Cars 2 in Italy. When the crew to Guido and Luigi’s hometown and the big Lemons Secret meeting when they were sabotaging the World Grand Prix in Italy.
3:59 Cars revealed in the first movie that its no big deal if their tanks are empty. Lightning was siphoned dry to keep from escaping successfully. And Sally revealed that she broke down and ran out of gas when she first came to Radiator Springs, reason why Flo took her under her wing in the first place...to fill her up. And Lightning didn't retire, he made it very clear in Cars 3 that he wasn't going to retire but keep racing. I don't think Lightning is the type to be metaphorical with his use of words. As some theories portray he was meaning to keep racing with Cruz through her. He also said that she and him were both racers in cars on the road so he's definitely not retired.
It's great to see Cars series still keeps going despite the... Difficult start (not pun intended). But I wished that Cars on The Road could have a lot more episodes than just 9
If they do make a season 2, I’m guessing it will either show Mater and McQueen’s journey home from the wedding or maybe McQueen’s going to his own family reunion.
Uh there is no race track because this is a road trip. That doesn't mean Lightning is done with racing, actually he said he was a racer in the show, so that proves he is not done with racing.
After McQueen's -retirement- (no it's not), he doesn't have a sponsor of Rust-eze anymore. I wonder if there's a next gen racer for Rust-eze. Plus, Tex Dinoco bought Rust-eze. He decided to keep racing with Cruz since he and Cruz are both racers. In "On the Road", he has the Radiator Springs logo because he now lives there as a racing headquarters.
@@brunofelixx2110, oh yeah. Let's process this. McQueen started the race in the final race in Cars 3 and Cruz finished it for him. McQueen decided to keep racing with Cruz and as for Cruz, she decided to race for Dinoco instead of Rust-eze. Then, Tex Dinoco bought and owned Rust-eze.

It's funny that you said Lightning retired because he never did. He said he's gonna keep racing at the end of Cars 3 and since Tex Dinoco purchased Rust-Eze from Sterling, it would make sense that Tex still lets Lightning Race because he also tells Cruiz, "See you on the track."
i might sound dumb but after i watched all 3 movies, every single mater short, plus now on the road. i am just realizing how big everything has to be to humans like the stores, planes, and the new hotel in ep. 2 and everything else
I’m not 22 years old, but cars is still my childhood movie, I recently came back to it and I’m so happy I did, been rewatching it again and again, time after time😂 i also admit to have watched every single cars toon and every single episode. It’s great to relive childhood sometimes :)

The reason they changed lightning McQueens paint job is for a reason,have you noticed every in cars movie/show lightning McQueen got at least two different paint overs

If they run out of gas they don’t die. In cars 1 when McQueen makes a run for it, the sheriff and sally siphoned his gas tank. Mqueen ran out of gas at the radiator springs line, and McQueen didn’t die
Cars don't die when they run out of gas. If they did, then Lightning would have died in the 1st movie. When cars get emptied, I think all the energy is drained from their battery
I would not be surprised if they announce cars 4 and that would officially be the end. Plus of course I wanted to see more racing and lightning being dragged back into it
They missed that mater and his sister are completely different makes of car, so a family of cars might all be different makes, models and maybe even types of vehicle?
Also when mater met with an accident and meet an angel in the clouds thats the first time in cars universe where door gets open by the mater. Earlier no cars universe had open door scene ever.
Its pretty interesting that although mater is completely rusty and lost all his paint job, his sister never point it out. Mater dont like her, meaning that they probably not have met in maaany years. So last time they met, he most likely had more paint. So she should at least be chocked.

Just a little bit fixing of the retirement thing he’s not retired he still racing, just along with Cruz as during the series Cruz we’re both talking like mostly, as McQueen was still in the racing at the piston cup, and also even during the time of cars three despite Cruz , helping to win during the final sections of the Florida track. The deal was still valid because in NASCAR rules, it doesn’t matter who driver is out there as long as the number makes it first and cruise was definitely holding that number so I’m sure case lighting is not retired. He still racing on the track with cruise as a friendly rival
The show than the movie is like no copyright but thats why every series of movie or video game makes the main character differ than the movie becuz they dont want the movie to get copyrighted

the wole empty gas thing is wrong, in the first film lighting gets his gas siphoned and just cant drive, and aswell as in the second film, meaning no they dont die to no gasoline- they problably die of old age, sickness, and other stuff
Is the series not canon? Cause it doesn’t make any sense if it takes place after the events of the third film since his paint job after Cars 3 was more of a dark blue (similar to Doc).
Its canon because i expect the series takes place AFTER the events in the 3rd film because Cruz joined Dinaco and the reason why Lightening Mcqueen when from his dark blue back to his original paintjob might of took place BEFORE the series started, its kinda like Monsters at Work where the 1st season took place after the events of Waternoose being arrested and before the end of the film.
