things we miss most about china: the food and the safety. I don't have to explain food, but safety... there's just an indescribable feeling of peace where you aren't constantly on guard for your personal safety when out and about.
omg that's the main reason why i want to move to China...im born raised in America and when i visited China because American media doesn't really show China in the brightest light, so i wanted to visit it for myself. The peacefulness in that country is as you described it, indescribable.
I’m from the USA, and I love foreign languages. I took Chinese Mandarin in high school and that was the only good thing about going to high school, the teacher was so amazingly nice! Traditional Chinese food looks amazingly delicious such as Peking duck and dumplings. Westernized Chinese food isn’t good at all. China has amazing long rich dynasty history, amazing-looking traditional dishes, China has its own astrology system and a very meaningful language. I also began immersing myself in South Korean pop culture and language. South Korea has the prettiest girls in all of Asia. My favorite celebrities from South Korea are PSY, black pink and red velvet. South Korea has an interesting language that is easy to read. Both Chinese and Korean languages have meaningful meanings.
Awesome video Nico. There is so much value you put here into an 11 minute video! I think your points particularly on working culture and job opportunities are really relevant. These aspects are really difficult to know / find credible information online, before potentially being in China. Keep up the great videos!
Great content and well organised framework and funny editing. You have done such an amazing RU-vid job Nico ! I’m from Yunnan and living in Australia now. hope you can visit my hometown one day : )
No it’s a super hard decision to make and so much harder at the moment. I think for some things it certainly is but for others it can be hard if you don’t speak or read Chinese.
I once saw a video where Chinese police become barriers to let people cross the street and I thought it’s was too much drama then I saw 👀 people then I realized that totally makes sense
Life change is always difficult and you always face uncertainties during the transition period. But one thing for sure is that it makes you realize what the important things in your life are.
When I first started watching your videos I was surprised at all the varied landscapes throughout China, don't know why I was surprised as there are vastly varied landscapes throughout the US, the lady at 4:35 of your video looks like a dark haired version of today's Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas
“Wearing green means unfaithful wife”, well, that refers to green hat or cap specifically. Green chothes are fine. Besides, give clock as a gift is not polite, but give watch is safe.
@@willengel2458 “Green hat” starts from Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Stipulated by Yuan Dynasty Statues (元典章). Parents and spouse of sexual workers shall wear cyan color headscarf. Afterwards the meaning was extended to unfaithful wife, and green (similar to cyan) hat (similar to headscarf).
I remember once I was wearing a green shirt in a class (I thought it was fine, because it's not a hat), and the kids made so much fun of me that it was difficult to finish the class😂Long story short, I've never worn that shirt again.
i used to wear a dark green toque in the winter. i noticed that sometimes i got some weird looks from other chinese. i never thought about it until i started watching chinese tv dramas on youtube, then i know what wearing green hat/toque means🤣🤣🤣 !!! i stopped wearing it 😂😂😂. love from canada.

That depends on if your diploma is the equivalent to a bachelors degree or not? It wouldn't be enough from the UK to work as an English teacher but it might be different from another country.
Yeah we have travelled to a few places in South America, we share more of that adventure in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c2MZxIumZK8.html
