There are many things to do around Mount Fuji that a lot of people miss, so here is a video showing you what you can do around Mount Fuji and some ideas for easy trips from Tokyo!
I went to the 3 neighbouring prefectures of Mt Fuji - Yamanashi Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, and Kanagawa Prefecture.
They are easy to get to for weekend trips or day trips from Tokyo too!

So I see some comments asking where she is at since there aren't much videos. She co-founded a Japanese learning school in Akita Prefecture and I'm sure that keeps her very busy so it's difficult to create new content...that along with COVID I'm sure doesn't help. Looks like you enjoyed the area around Mt Fuji as much as I did! Really cool area to go to with lots to do and great people. Well worth seeking those out of the way spots too (yes, I missed out on Shiraito Falls and am just a bit gutted about it now). Of course being me I recommend hiring a car or better still a motorcycle if you can as the roads are great and you can find some out of the way places that way as well. Another great video as always, looking forward to your next adventure.

I wish that I had seen this video before I went to Japan in October. I went to Fuji Lakes, but the fog hid Fujisan from us. I did go to Ominichi and I rode a bicycle for 2 days on the Shimanami Kaido, and stayed on the Lemon Island. I had seen your video about your trip and I love riding bicycles. It was great fun. What a wonderful, detailed, cultural video! I would love to visit Oyama during my next visit, but Tokyo>Oyamasan>Aokigahara is very round-a-bout. Will likely have to settle for Tokyo>Takaosan>Aokigahara.

I will be going there in two weeks time and shiraito falls is one of the places I will be visiting . I will be staying at numazu which is part of izu peninsula. Over there, there’s many viewpoint to view fujisan too.
