@@fu9793truly enjoyed keywest bro it’s way bigger than you think looks like New Orleans and Hawaii mixed together real carrribean vibes !! If you are a earthy person that loves outdoors you are going to love it
Nice video!!! I’ll be going in two weeks and this is our third time. We always drive from Miami but this time flying in. And like you said I just want to go there and relax 😌
I have been to the Keys twice in the past three years for a honeymoon and babymoon and this is a great list! Glad to say that I have tried most of the things you mentioned in your video. My big question: What time of year did you go?! I have gone during the summer (June-July and July-August) and have never seen Fort Taylor or Smathers that teal/turquoise clear blue... :(
Thanks for the info! We have our first trip there as a port of call on a cruise in a couple weeks. We don’t have too much time there. What do you suggest on a time constraint and is it hard to navigate? I’ve heard there is a tram?? Do you know if that drops you to the main area? Def want key lime goodies, the White House and Duval street and hopefully a short beach trip. Thanks! 😊
For first time people there is almost no parking close to the night life. Now you can pay to park not a lot of those and pricy. We found a scooter was best or a bike. Enjoy walking getting your steps in. No RV or trailer camping in key west. but few miles up are some 100.00 per night cheapest . not a good idea to bring your rv or pickup with a trailer, the roads are narrow and very few gas stations most at the entrance to the island. Thanks for the video. well done.
We are going to key west in September for the first time. Watched your videos and now we know where to eat down there. Thank you, and if you tour Ohio we can take you to some good spots. Aaron and Angela
Kudos on a very great video! I checked out your other one too. Thanks for the reminding to take it easy and slow there. I’m doing MIA first and driving down. Then flying out of key west so I don’t waste those precious hours my last day (while picturesque) driving.
Your videos were so helpful as we planned our visit. Yes, the 1st priority should be to relax. Not sure how you 2 fit so much in. We will need to plan another visit. Please come to Colorado.
@@AdamandMadalynThough I’m from Denver, I am going to suggest Colorado Springs. A stay at the historic, 5 Diamond, Broadmoor Hotel, a visit to the Garden of the Gods, Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. Optional side trips to Great Sand Dunes National Park and white water rafting down the Arkansas River.
Throughout this entire video we kept saying "We need to get our Airstream down there for at least a week". Our Key West experiences have been a few 1 day stays off a cruise ship. Thanks for the motivation....
@@AdamandMadalyn BTW, if you're wondering how we stumbled across your channel, we were in Milwaukee with the Airstream and searched for German Restaurants. Your review of Maders popped up. Of course we went there and loved it.
