To answer your question Alux, Scarface is the movie that comes to mind when first thinking of Miami, it's a great movie and Al Pacino did a great job acting as Tony Montana.
When I think of movies that depict Miami, the 1st ones that come to mind are Bad Boys 1, 2, & 3. Also Miami Vice and Will Smith's music video Welcome to Miami come to mind.
Parts of the Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart was filmed in Miami. And Carib ( Stacy Ketch ) Miami Vice, Don Johnson, but those was series. Pepsquad, 1974. was also filmed in Miami.

Now an honest opinion from a resident of Miami. It is everything like this on this video. However all you saw here was the bayside & Miami Beach areas. As soon as you leave bayside and go into wynwood it's nothing but ghetto and torn down old houses (up to the point where you reach the airport) after the airport you have more moderate wealthy lifestyle that isn't as crazy as south beach but still provides some of the most beautiful properties and occupation. So the city is basically divided as so from west to east: Middle/High class - Middle/Low class - High middle/High class

Well I think of the movie Cocaine Cowboys, but now I know that Miami was once a citrus Grove I believe that is really cool because when I was a child growing up in California in Tulare before I moved to Oakland California there were so many citrus trees oranges lemons, tangerines.

Not just Latin American countries surround Miami. Plenty of other black Caribbean islands are nearby. Spanish, English and Haitian Creole are spoken here.

Made quite a few trips there to party and have fun there when i was younger and dumber. Learn Spanish before visiting. Has the nation’s only legal nude beach in Haulover Park Beach. Best time to visit is before or after hurricane season, like December to June. Watch out for scammers spotting tourists particularly on South Beach. Never use the public beach bathrooms on Ocean Ave on South Beach. There are much nicer and cleaner and less creepier and less used bathrooms down at the point where the beach and port meet.
