The Yakuza is probably not a pure evil group. I see it as a strict and more honest(in terms of intention) form of private government (for good or bad).
Just so you know, there’s a typo at 5:24 “the turf was ‘etween’ the yakuza boryokudan groups……”. It should be spelt as; “the turf was between the yakuza boryokudan groups……”. Amazing video so far though guys, you’ve been doing an incredible job this week as always!!☺️
In the yakuza you have to cut off your pinky finger for betrayal or for not following order and cutting of the little finger weakens your grip on the katana and if you betray them again you wont lose your another finger. You will have lose your head
Adjusting to modern society is not the problem. But over the years Japanese government has been cracking down by enforcing strict laws on yakuza which is why they're dying off. The new/modern wanna be Yakuza's cannot really be called Yakuza as they do not hold the reputation of being respectful and polite between each other. They do not follow etiquette and have no system of honour.

Im not japanese but i do know the language and the pronunciation triggers me to. She said やくざ like "Yuh-koo-zuh" but the pronunciation of Edo triggered me more.

Don't wanna ba a criminal but scaring the shit out of the people is fun just like the yakuza warns everybody else.people laught at me but I made them stop looking like a boring individuals even if I make them felt like I am doing a dynamite fishing and my fire-works fucks me up back in return.
My wife is Japanese there was no surprise at all I knew all these things. The woman doing this needs to work harder at pronunciation though she is very amateur.
