Tip #14 is something everyone needs to know. You can't expect big numbers and growth on RU-vid if you're only casually participating. #15 is also a tough one for most people but very important to realize.
@RobertoBlake

Indeed. I see so many creators frustrated but they are taking a casual approach to something that should be respected as a career

Thank you for all of your help!! I’ve got the subs in 6months.. just need the watch time!! I made the mistake with advertising to get views on FB (which doesn’t count for watch time) and wasted a lot of time! But I’ll get there hopefully by year end!

Do you know what totally makes you stand out from your competitors? You talk slower, which gives a sense of calmness and it's so easy to and enjoyable to watch your videos. So many other creators teaching how do RU-vid, talk so darn fast, some guys do it but especially many female content creators tend to talk so darn fast. I just really enjoy your content because you talk normally. It's weird to actually complement a content creator about his/her speech but yeah, so many content creators talk very fast pace that the viewers feel rushed just listening to them.
@RobertoBlake
@RobertoBlake Год назад
Actually this compliment made my entire day since one of the things I am the hardest on myself about is the way I talk and my overall voice and tonality.
Год назад
I agree. I'm a non-native English speaker. This video is great and I will see the other ones too. Thank you for your dedication and useful tips!

I’m guilty of talking fast because I don’t want my videos to be too long. Well.. in life I talk fast too. This is something to consider in my videos 😊
@CrochetCrimeAndCommentary
@CrochetCrimeAndCommentary Год назад
@@ActivityAuthor I myself have never logged of a video when I'm enjoying the content and the person is talking normally. But I have many times logged of videos where I was also enjoying the content but the person is talking so darn fast that I just want to jump through the screen and slap her on her back and say "breath, just breathe and talk slower". I use to watch Cathine Manning's content but she is in a sprint race when it comes to talking. She herself has mentioned that her viewers have mentioned she talks to fast, yet she has not changed it and I just cant bare to listen to someone who sounds like they are in some sort of 911 crisis, yet they are teaching RU-vid education. So I unsubscribed from her channel. I absolutely love Nick Nimmin content but unfortunately I've noticed some of his videos he is aldo talking like he is in some sort of sprint race and the bad thing is, these are people who are teaching others how to do RU-vid and by them talking so fast is teaching newbies that's how it should be done. Yeah many of them bring great value to the platform, but they lack the basic communication skills of talking normally to their audience. But hey I'm just some small RU-vidr, who I'm I to tell a big RU-vidr they should talk a bit slower. When someone talks normally and at a normal pace their audience automatically feels calm. Roberto nails this perfectly and I've just always loved his deliverance. When someone talks to their audience as though they in some sort of race or 911 crisis, that tells me this person, just wants to get the video over and done with asap.

I just celebrated my 100th video, all focused only on the core of my niche; recipes. I wanted to build a nice catalog of recipes actually cooking something before I ever did any product reviews, unboxing videos, etc. It felt good, and people seem to be responding well. As you said, many people don't make it to 100 videos. The other thing I love that you said that you said at the end really resonated with me, regarding comparing myself to other people or their results/growth. I decided very on to be my most authentic self on camera. It's been a great source of personal contentment and a consistent direction for all my content. Great work on this one Roberto. Love the keying work. Did you use Ultra Key in Premiere Pro or did you do the keying in After Effects?

Ultra Key with some personal tweaks! Might release the PRESET sometime soon for free!

Thank You Roberto. Love the knowledge you dropped here. I’m slowly making my way up to my first 1k subs and I’m grateful for your channel and tips on growth.

@@RobertoBlake its a lot of what you said in this video. Audio is a big thing for me, the first 30 seconds, thumbnails and titles. What is helping the most is watching your getting to 1k subs videos (I've watched it several times over) and content like this. Your edit is awesome and engaging you lead by example. That was a lot, but I am so grateful for the free content too. Lets gooo... to Japan. 😬

Number 15 is by far the most important thing to do, watching others people content is great to get fresh inspiration for future videos. But comparing to their channel and their growth on RU-vid is not a healthy idea in the long run. Thanks for sharing this 15 Amazing tips.
