Thanks mort for the stories. I live in Alaska and earthquakes are normal here. But a couple years ago we had a big one and it was devastating (look up 2018 anchorage earthquake 7.2 magnitude). Now I got a bit of ptsd from that. Even little quakes we usually have and don't notice while sleeping, has now gotten me jumping out of bed, panicking, at any sudden movement of my bed. 😥

I enjoy how you added some animal stories (hope you do more of them in the future) but that earthquake story was the hardest to listen to, especially the end where both parents ended up dying... Additional - when it comes to snakes and spiders, always treat them with caution, until you know whether they are dangerous or not!

He was fine, lucky for him he is a rather skinny guy..🤪🐮I must admit I did have a good laugh while he was explaining what happened..😂

Okay, why is nobody talking about the Scotland camping one (29:50)? It's terrifying, I can't figure anything out and, most of all, WHY IT MAKES NO SENSE? Beautiful bay setting that's obviously very popular, yet the next night they're the only ones there. Everyone gone, with them being (presumably) the unknowledgeable new comers, unaware of something that everyone else wanted to avoid. Like, I don't know, the HISSING from the sourrounding cliffs. Was that actually an owl? Why did it sound like it started up high, came lower to their level, growing in volume and seeming to be going towards them? WHAT OWL DOES THAT. Was it Padfoot, the Demon Dog/Sheep/Cryptid/THING?!? Why did her boyfriend shrug it off, apparently not having heard the hissing, then freaked out moments later when he did heard it, but the way it's worded makes it seem like she couldn't hear it when he could?? I know she was around 100ft away from the car, which explains why BF didn't hear it the first time. AND what about the police car? I'm assuming they were probably on the look out for any litterers or people drinking alcohol in public and/or smoking recreationally. But -and this is a big but - what if they were doing rounds for something else? Why go all the way down into the bay just to turn right back around straight away? Was it to make sure this....thing hadn't eaten anyone, and if so, call in the cleanup crew? Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and hopefully shed some light. I'm confused, scared senseless and I've listened to that story like 4 times now and I still can't make head or tails of it. The worst part is I was only meant to use this to help me sleep, like scary bedtime stories (it does work, usually. For some reason I just couldn't stop tossing and turning this time). Now, I'm going to try listening to it again to see if there's anything I missed because I genuinely can't tell if it's because I'm sleep deprived, or if I'm missing something entirely, or if everyone else who watches the video just really isn't as phased by it as I am. Please help me. Thanks, love you.
