I've got some big news to share - we've settled down in Slovenia🌍✨ From the moment we set foot in our new home, it's been a whirlwind of excitement and new experiences. Imagine this: numerous trips to Ikea, spending what feels like eternity assembling furniture (seriously, I never want to see another screw again!), and receiving our first parcels in Slovenia - it's been a rollercoaster of emotions!
Our mornings have been filled with surprises too - like discovering the size of Slovenian blueberries (spoiler alert: they're huge!). And let's not forget our epic trips to Ikea - we practically lived there for a month! 😂 Assembling furniture became a family affair, with Alice showing off her newfound skills with a screwdriver. And when we finally sat down with our first cup of coffee in our new kitchen, surrounded by boxes, it truly felt like home.
Of course, settling into our new life in Slovenia hasn't been without its challenges. From finding the right kindergarten for Alisa to navigating the grocery store aisles, it's been a learning curve. But seeing her adorable little face light up as she navigates the store with her tiny cart - well, it's moments like these that make it all worth it.
And let me tell you about Slovenia itself - it's like something out of a storybook! From the charming streets of Ljubljana to the mystical fog-covered countryside, every day feels like an adventure waiting to happen. As we explore this beautiful country and create new traditions (like our Halloween trips to castles - so much fun!), Slovenia is starting to feel more like home with each passing day.
