15 Most NOPE-Inspiring Insects on Earth. On a bad note, Fuck the Camel Spider. Face claws and can run 10 mph? NOPE. On a better note, I thought the Orchid-Manta was actually quite beautiful.
Frexcy No I don't. I believe in things that make sense to me and, sir, the Bible does not stand as one of those things. There are too many plot holes, errors, and redundancies to let that "literature" rule my life.
My reactions to: 8: "Oooooh pretty :D" 2: "I'd run from it too if I saw a 10-legged spider thing running towards me at 10 mph..." 1: "Aaaaaaaand my Trypophobia kicks in."
All these insects and arachnids were amazing creatures especially the Orchid Mantis one, so cool, I hope there are more fascinating creatures like these beauties. :3
OrangeAwesomeness DOOD IF CTHULHU IS ALIVE THAT MEANS HE'S WORKING WITH ROBOT HITLER AND SPACE OBAMA. THE MOON LANDING IS FAKE, 9/11 WAS CAUSED BY THE CHILDREN OF THE CORN AND LIZARD MOLE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CREATING TECHNOLOGY SUCH AS THE TRICYCLE TO PROTECT THE EGYPTIANS FROM SOLAR PANDA WAVES CAUSED BY WOMBATS ON MERCURY. ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was suprised he didn't put the assassin bug on this list. it deserves it. you see when an assassin bug kills a smaller insect, it takes the dead insects shell and puts it on it's body. it will do this with pretty much every insect it kills until it has an armor made of it's victims.
He's telling the truth, I read about it on a different site. They do it as a defense mechanism, so the thing that's trying to eat them is distracted by the dead bodies the bug can get away to safety.
isn't there that fly that make eggs on humans backs and when they grow they make these cacoon like things that are huge half inside your back sucking your blood with spikes going in a direction so that if you want to pull them out it hurts like fuck.
BingeReader They only live in south and central america, and even then u can avoid them by taking the normal measures to avoid mosquitoes like netting and bug spray as mosquitoes are how those little suckers (skin-burrowing larvae) get on u since the fly itself is very conspicuous.
BingeReader in biology class we had to watch a video a bout a lady who got a bot fly egg in her head and surprisingly it isn't that bad the put a band-aid with Vaseline on it to suffocate it then in the morning since its dead the spike retreated and they can pull it out.
The Orchid Mantis was the only one that caught my eyes the most! 😆😍 It's so beautiful! While others insect was kinda creepy,so i always cover my eyes whenever they appeared in the screen. 😨 And yes, I'm afraid of insects but still felt curious about it. 😅
I believe there is a difference between damselflies and dragonflies, however, my favorite saying/quote that I live by (one of the many) is, "To each is own". So you call it whatever you want!
Yeah, I say Dragonflies too. In Norway they're called Øyestikkere, which directly translates to Eye-pokers :p I used to be scared shitless by them when I was a kid cause I thought all they did was poke people's eyes with their long "tales" or whatever it is.
Damselflies are so pretty. They are just like dragonflies. In my biology 2 class when I was in High school I caught one for my display and it was all green, like a green apple green, which is my favorite color. Very cool.
Found one of the number one (giant water bug) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was flying around a light post late in the season too. We thought it was a bat. It hit the ground with a THUD. Ugly, aggressive little bastards. They're called toe biters 'cause if you swim in a river or creek and get too close to them as they wait for food (small fish and frogs) they'll bite yer toes.
Imagine having a camel spider in you house, what would you do? I would shoot it :D. And imagine if the bacteria in your body could evolve into it. Have fun sleeping.
I've had an Orchid Mantis stow away in a box of flowers a couple years ago. The flowers were from my cousin, whom was visiting Indonesia for a few years, and when I opened the box they came in I was greeted with a big pink bug. I sent brought it to a friend who is a huge bug enthusiast and he still keeps it as a pet. It's actually quite docile and only kills things when its hungry.
number 7... the atlas moth... imo i think its called the cobra moth because the tips of its wings simply look like cobra heads to me... like on the top of the wings...? the corners...? nvm no one probably sees what i see anyways....
senne note dolan says that it is called atlas moth but some people call it the cobra moth, its my idea its an actual thing they call it T__T listen to what he says next time :3
MasterHumus umm. do you live in Denmark? This is a rare thing I'm positive. Never seen one, wherever I've been. Seen normal looking brown moths, but nothing like this
MasterHumus well I did think we were talking about the thing shown in the pictures.. I didn't know whether it was a larva or a moth. Or I did think it was a larvae but then I saw you guys talking about moths? So I guess that confused me. But never seen it. And the environment in the city is a lot different than on the country side, so I too would assume it's more likely to see these kinds of animals in the country
There's a caterpillar that looks like bird turd, if that counts. PS: I found a giant waterbug outside my house, and despite your statement, I was not afraid of it. I picked it up and kept it in an empty peanut butter jar. It was adorable. Then again, I am an entomologist....
Wow! Great video! I did'nt know any insects could simply chew leaves - thought they all used stylets to get into some layer of cells or other and suck out or digest the contents.
I'd like to crawl into my bed, cover my head, stay there for a few days and emerge with superpowers. Then again, I think everyone might have wished for something similar at some point
