Another Easter egg I found that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere, with the new 2.0 update, panam will leave you pierogis in your apartment and the description says something along the lines of “who needs swords when you have dumplings” which I believe is a reference to the sword maker Hatori who makes dumplings in the Witcher 3
They lost the chance to put Ciri as a NPC on this game and even make a quest with her. Specially after that quest on the witcher 3 where Geralt finally finds her and she says that she went to a world that is just like Night City.
@@rrf1999 Ciri was always on the run though, she didn’t get too close or talk to most people, she world jumps so she could have been there for a few minutes or even a few hours.
@MacCullaichFamily in the dialogue, she says that cp world is the one where she could stay the longest because it was the hardest to find for the Wild Hunt. She says that she stayed in Night City for 6 months.
Forgot about the military group Barghest - its actually a name of a monster in The Witcher. It even has a green logo of a dog, the monster is a green(ish) dog too
The best one is in Evil ending.. after agreeing to go to Arasaka Medical center when you're in the car, a bird comes near.. that bird , i think is ciri..cuz she can turn into a bird.. and why i think its Ciri? cuz in one of dialogue someone says there is no animal even near the night city, and they name birds specially.. and even Ciri said she went somewhere that horses were flying a lot of lights, ppl were entangled with metal etc.
I could be wrong but if you go to the weapons merchant in the aldecados, you can say “wanna see your wares” and the merchant replies “ browse till your hearts content” isn’t that what merchants usually say to Geralt ?
Read the books, then you'll understand. Saying that the witcher netflix just barely tells the story would still be giving it too much credit. Not that it isn't good, but it doesn't do the series any justice whatsoever
Never played Witcher, so this is all new to me but still interesting. I knew there were some Witcher-related items you got if you had the game before you bought Cyberpunk, and if you linked your CDPR account to your GOG one. And supposedly there's a Witcher connection to the FF:06:B5 mystery
