I don't think the problem is age or rushing into the hobby with 1mil, the problem is that he's only thinking about money, all his answers to brains questions were just about money, he didn't really say anything about an actual passion and love for the animal.. o well as long as he stays committed and keeps up with these animals there's not much to complain about

Brian - poor effort here man. This is your first vid that has kind of annoyed me and I've been supporting you from day one. "You must have done a lot of research Gabriel before you decided to do this' NO he did not! Why didn't he start with a few base morphs and produce a clutch or two first and go from there, that's research. You actually look like the kid in this and he's standing grinning like the breeder with 25 years experience that started with nothing. He's smug, has very wealthy (in my opinion irresponsible) parents and this totally sends out the wrong message to young people. Has he even produced a SINGLE clutch? You say he's following his dreams and going for it....come on man, there are loads of 15yr old kids would love to do that but it's not an option and I think you're totally sending out the wrong msg. Your story is totally different and you've belittled it with this. This is is not the way to start a snake breeding business.....from one ball python to over 200 in a year PLUS carpets, retics and now his next big project is rainbows seeing as he's mastered the rest!lol NO DOUBT it's a great collection but it has no story, no history and no passion....just a load of great animals thrown together by someone with too much money, I want I want I want! We've all seen most of these animals already by the great breeders who produced them...I reckon Justin Kobylka must have about a quarter of that million in his pocket!lol Let's hope he doesn't get bored

It's clear he is putting this kid on blast and bringing attention to these amazing snakes hoping it will put the rush on getting these beauties in better hands.

Due to this seemingly never-ending quest to produce the newest and most desirable morph, there is a RIDICULOUS surplus of ball pythons in the pet trade. As such, I'm not particularly impressed by the fact that a 15 year old spent 1,000,000 on even MORE ball pythons, to further add to the massive overproduction of this species. I would have been much happier to see him put his time and money towards his producing a rarer species that you don't see too often in the pet trade such as Boelen's pythons. But maybe that's just me...

This kid has the best person around to help guide him with anything he may not know about the business.. good luck kid 🐍 are awesome!

Anyone compared to the great Brian just doesn't seem enthusiastic enough. The vibe this kid gives off is that he may be into snakes but doesn't deserve the initial investment that was needed to make that operation happen. I guess I'm just a hater because I'm jealous.

This is mind blowing. All of the jealousy people and hate people are projecting onto this teenager is ridiculous. It's his money and what he does with it is up to him. I personally commend anyone who has the courage to start a business at such a young age. And I wish him the best!

Amazing collection and very impressive kid! My husband and I will be selling our first baby ball pythons this year, so I can only imagine the excitement and craziness this kid has in store for him in the near future! Looking forward to following (and hopefully doing some business with) this charmingly young man!

Brain I love you but this kid should NOT have that collection. He got his first ball python less than a year beforehand? That means that he barely got a beginner snake and moved on to hundreds of snakes including Retics in just a short while? He no where near has the experience to properly care for that many snakes, most of all the Retics which require years of experience to be cared for well. Honestly this is a classic case of someone with too much money and time, and I am not convinced that he won't just get tired of his collection shortly as many do and dump it on someone else or worse, neglect it.

I believe with this kind of hobby, it should start as a passion that slowly works towards a business so a person can learn to appreciate it more. Not where they just buy a bunch of stuff to have it as a business from the get go. I don't care if you have 10 snakes or 1000's of snakes, the first and foremost reason to be in this hobby is the passion of the animals as living creatures and beautiful works of living art. What bothers me is the instances where Gabriel mentions the snakes' worth, as such is the whole reason he decided to work with carpet pythons because they are more rare morphs and still worth more. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds almost identical to when bananas and coral glows were still rare and people were jumping into the hobby strictly to make money and thus saturated the market and eventually left the hobby because "the money wasn't there anymore". I hope I'm wrong about this kid, but I just got a very bad vibe from watching this video. Gorgeous snakes though. I hope they are well taken care of...which brings me to another point. It's not just a couple hours a night taking care of hundreds of snakes...with him only being 15, he has school and homework at minimum, not to mention a social life and possible girlfriend or whatever (I have a 15 year old son, and his social life and girlfriend almost consume him). So where will all the time come for taking care of all of them. If he's going to be responsible, he shouldn't be depending on others to be doing it for him, which is what I fear will happen. However, as long as someone is taking care of them, that is what matters. But with 3+ years of high school left, this whole situation doesn't feel right, no matter how much money him or his family have. Sorry, just my two cents.

wow, I'm impressed with the dedication and passion this kid has. keep it up, so many people stop chasing their dreams. the first time to hold a snake is like a rush you never wanna let them go. I remember I had my ball with me to walmart and an oldman asked me why I was a scarf with a hoodie.. I just looked confused till he tried to show me and I nearly had a heart attack when he realized what it was.. I felt bad. not the first time I've done this gone to my mother in laws home and spent an hour there till I realized he was moving a bit..

Man, I don't want to come off as a hater--but maybe we should've focused on Gabriel's parents "they the real MVP"! Seriously though, I'd like to know more about the parents this lucky guy has. I appreciate the education and I love reptiles but I don't understand mass breeding facilities. They cannot be ethical... where do all the extra snakes go that don't get bought? This is just as bad as a puppy mill. They don't even TRY to provide a decent enclosure for their animals.

The most likely scenario: The kids filthy rich parents told Brian that they would let him and his wife stay in their 10,000,000 mansion if brian featured their son in a snakebytes episode. 😂 all jokes aside, honestly I'm not hating. Non of us know how he got the funds, but if I had the money, or if my parents were rich and would've let me do this, I would've done the same thing as this kid. Haha although I think you appreciate things more when you do it by yourself, and have to struggle and work for it.

I look forward to Brian's Snakebytes show every Wed, but I can''t even begin to finish watching this. Brian, you're asking a 15 yr old kid who just got into the hobby a year ago about spending this ungodly amount of $$ on snakes. I hope he invested that much for his college account, or donated some to food banks or under privileged families. This encourages the worst instincts of reptile hobbyists to buy everything they can, as fast as they can, for the purpose of making money. With a million dollars, how many endangered species could he have helped, how many donations to zoos, how many other things besides trying to create the next godd&^&%mned Frankenstein-like ball python???? In two years, when he's hopefully venturing off to college, will this young man still be chasing the latest fad in ball pythons? Expanded his interest to other species? Or be like so many that dive too fast to the deep end of the hobby, and lose interest in what he has and want to get rid of them, and jump into the next "big thing"? At the worst, he seems like a sucker for the big breeders to sell their new creations to for top dollar.

You guys are hating on the kid because he has a nice collection of snakes wether he will be a successful breeder or not wether he’s parents brought it for him or not he has a passion for the animals he works with and that’s all that matters

Some people get money from some type of accident or misfortune, and a big corporation could've been the cause of it, or a car accident or anything really. So don't judge him because he spent a million on his collection, you don't know where he got the million. Don't assume.

Awesome snakes! Seeing a lot of hate in the comment section for seemingly no reason. If i had a million dollars lying around I would definitely get hundreds of snakes like this kid. He obviously has a passion for snakes or else he would have went into a much easier or more profitable than snakes.

My favourite is the firefly leopard clown ball python. AnimalBytesTv I'm your biggest fan and I've been inspired by you guys, I've even bought my first snake and he is an albino motley corn snake.

I have the same passion and love for reptiles as this kid but I dont have enough money to start breeding🙁

actually i'm 14 now and i bought 4 reptiles 3 months ago after watching you i think same as he thought i will make abit money grow it collect more and i love em and yeah those 4 are crested geckos and i will breed them like in 4months :)

Very cool awesomeness for this young man. Great to see the upcoming generation doing fantastic things. Who cares we're or how he got his money that is irrelevant. People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars sending there kids to all sorts of sports stuff. So I am happy he is spending his money on snakes. Hope nothing but the best for him.
