She's got potential, being so young, tall, lanky, having good hands, and a potentially good shooting form, but she's far from athletic (at this point), is very awkward in her movement (understandably as most 15-year-olds would be), lacks footwork as a basketball player, and has no lift/bounce. She needs to also take up dancing, yoga, and possibly swimming as part of her routine, if she wants to begin improving her footwork and agility.
@endtimes3622 I agree. She's slow like a snail. I don't think she'd do well in the WNBA unless she learns not to be afraid of breaking any bones. She might have brittle bones and many issues as a giant at her age would and will have in her life. But if doesn't have any of these issues in real life than she needs to learn to hit the gym, get burst energy and act like she's the biggest person on the court, the gym and her whole entire town.
She can be a shaq type player she got potential she just might need some post score more and some mid range I would like to see her in the WNBA she could be a shot blocker so y'all wnba teams better hope y'all get her if Candace Parker be her teamate good luck beating that
They would eat her up in the WNBA. Those women are more athletic and they can jump higher than her. Just because somebody tall doesn't mean they will dominate.
@@Ok-oo2khyou realize she is only going to get slower, right? Being 15 is why she’s doing well. She isn’t even athletic. She won’t be able to do anything when she gets to the WNBA. It’s not rocket science.
Creo que debería existir un límite de estatura , es injusto para las demás , en todo caso , que hagan una liga especial para personas que midan más de cierta Estatura , eso es gigantismo y siempre todas estarán en desventaja
She definitely has potential. Soft touch, runs the floor well, able to bully around the goal. She's 15, by the time its all said and done, she may end up being 7'8". I would find a trainer for her to work on footwork, even lateral quickness and work on how to "fall" without getting injured. Height like that comes with more cons than anything, but it can be done with a lot of work. She's just 15, give her time to figure things out. She may not even want to play basketball beyond HS.
She's very effective since no one's close enough in height to effectively guard her, but I wish she was just more exciting to watch. Too many basic layups, no dunks, and she's not very quick. She almost looked bored while playing so I hope she was having fun out there.
The “future of the wnba” 😂😂😂 right up until she gets hurt in her first season. It isn’t even entertaining. It’s like putting a 500 lb person in a hockey goal with no space to spare and calling it “talent”
Not sure I'd say she is unstoppable. From the looks of some of those scores, most of the games seem to be pretty close. I am guessing she is on one of, if not the best team in China for that age group, but even so, she is at least 2 feet taller than every kid out there so there is no reason she should not score EVERY time down the court. With that big of a height advantage, especially at that age, her team should be blowing other teams out
Her team is just a medium/weak team without her. And the close score is because that the rule of this league requires that no player could play more than 3 quarters . Every time when she sits on the bench ,her team loses 10-20 points ( usually in 2nd quarter)
how is her team barely winning games when she is more than 2 feet taller than everyone? thats the mark of a good player, not height. Do they help their team win.
Bring her to America. She needs strength training, agility training and explosive movement training. I would also put her in hip hop dance programs. Maybe beach volleyball. But if she's still getting taller then she's probably doomed.
Yet there's a complete radio silence about her on collegiate recruitment websites; she might not be going to play in college even though she scored 40+ points in games at the U18 international level (which is what solidified what WNBA Draft stock she currently have).
Her parents will have to decide where she will play. Remain in Japan and hope for an Olympic team or come here to the US and try to play for the WNBA. She will have to improve her game much more. Height will only carry her so far if she can't run and/or handle the ball well.
I was thinking why doesn’t she jump but honestly why does she need to? The risk of injury for someone of her size would be zero reward for her already upper hand advantage. Hope she becomes famous!
She should not play too much basketball instead swim and condition. Let’s be realistic : she might only havd a certain number of miles on those feet and knees. But will be unstoppable. She should get a gold metal or a pay day each time she plays.
THIS GIRL IS NOT 7 foot 4 she is not even 7 feet. If she was 7’4 she would be the tallest living woman. And she is NOT. Rumeysa gelgi from turkey is the tallest living woman and she is just under 7 foot 1. This girl here is not even 7 foot she is like 6’9 maybe 6’10 it’s alllll lies
She cannot jump. Her toe never leaves the ground. She is instructed not to jump to protect her knees. She cannot dunk without jumping. She is too heavy. If she jumps, her knees will be damaged real quick. You can refer to NBA Pelican team's Zion Wiliamson and Yao Ming as well. By the way WNBA players did dunk. I remember a Australian 6"8' lady who is playing in WCBA now can dunk.
@@quebecome She's 100% above 7 feets lol , why would you want her to dunk and get injury especially at that age lol , yall should leave her alone and let her keep growing until 18 lmao
She should have gotten collegiate offers by now. And yet, Somfai (another girl on the all-tournament team at the U18 Asia Cup) is down to UConn, Stanford and Duke.
no its better not to dunk cuz there will be also opportunity to have injury especially at that 14 age lol , just let her keep growing until 18 then she can dunk
A girl that's 15 years old and 7'4. I guess grown men gonna have a good reason to date her. I can hear them now," oh damn man, she 15,, ! Damn I had no idea, she didn't look it at all. She told me she was 21 lol..! How could I not believe her! Lol lol!!
protect the knees basketball player with that height, 1st priority is to protect the knees, so not jumping even she can Yao Ming almost cant walk due to knee injury at late 30s and she cant dunk
