The mere fact that he his able to play it is amazing, you have to play it over and over and over to play something, a few misses here and there are nothing compared to all the work he has done to get there in the first place !
Not only did he play this so well but he did so from memory! That is amazing and I’m glad that at least a few people stopped to appreciate this person’s musical talent
Although a great performance he cut most notes short by not holding them for their full duration. Still a marvelous completion however there is plenty of room for improvement.
Did someone delete my comment explaining why this was impressive? Why? No seriously why did someone get rid of my comment? Is someone’s ego so fragile that they couldn’t stand a simple metaphor on complexity and memory? It could not be construed as wrong or offensive in anyway so I must think that someone must have a bruised ego from my words which is kind of sad really.
At a very young age, and is able to do this. Great job! I love playing piano too, and I am only 16 and have been playing for a long time, but definitely have not reach this level! Good job!! Beautifully done!!
The fact hat he only messed up a few times while playing this from memory is astounding. The hardest part of this song is how tiring it is, you kept going faster and faster while both hands do different things. This is simply outstanding.
Patchubun, BRAVO, EXCELLENT!!! I've loved this song ever since I saw you and Cole play it together. Your playing was superb and it's always a pleasure to see a new post from you. Looking forward to many more, btw, love that hair. Thanks for the post.❤❤👏👏🎹👏👏
I'm still 95% certain that the whole thing was setup as a ploy to get a bunch of views. And it clearly succeeded. Whole situation made 0 sense. Also, calling them "nationals" is probably incorrect. Every one of the Chinese individuals except one spoke with a heavy British accent. AKA they have lived there for most/their entire lives.
Who do you think they would fight for if war broke out between britain and chyna? They're chynese nationals trust me their loyalty lies with chyna and always has
@@chrismulkey7341 nationalists, ie nazis, not nationals. Also that is excactly how these ccp brainwashed drones behave in China and all over the world and it's awful. Doesn't need to make sense to an outside observer, infact it rarely does but to them it's everything cause their national pride was hurt.
skill* Talent is a myth. People don't get here because it was gifted to them on a silver platter. This is hard work that got him here. You can do it too, if you've got the discipline.
you know they gotta get that flight; to the toilet; a pack of cigarettes; a gift for their mother or a life to live. so many people calling out the by passers. i for sure wouldnt notice if somebody would play and insane hard piano track in a mall.
I used to be a musician before my hands got shaky from a medical condition, and it was second hand hurting my feelings that so few people stopped to listen, I'm glad he got an audience.
I ALWAYS see shorts about please playing rush E but they never show the harder bit which leaves me feeling a bit suspicious about them. Bro actually did it all. RESPECT ❤❤❤❤❤
It’s so sad that no one cheered for him and just looked at him AND NO ONES TALKING ABOUT IT Edit: OH MY GOSH 104 LIKES!?!?! THIS IS INSANEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
While I felt bad for him about that, it seems one guy stopped in surprise, but the boy noticed that and it made him nervous and threw his playing off a bit, so the guy decided to walk away because I think he didn't want to make the boy nervous. I have no doubt this kid can play this perfectly in his living room, but naturally the eyes of strangers would make anyone playing such a complicated piece nervous.
they don't recognize it. modern people are programmed to only care about things that are 'familiar' or nostalgic. all pop music is derived from the same familiar sounds and chord progressions
The thing is - even thought there was no crowd, people stopping by probably made the boy more nervous and caused him to make mistakes. He's really good (unbelievably good for a 15yo) - but he still made mistakes (100% expected, it's a random public piano and and an extremely difficult piece). And I can assure you he can hear his every mistake and thinks that others can too (even though usually they can't) - which probably stresses him out xd
Eh - it's at St Pancras International, there are about three public pianos - you get used to people playing decently when you go through there every day.
i don't think there's any musician that get's appreciated more than a piano player. we've all had a go and know it's so hard and takes serious effort to learn. i remember a m8's brother up from oxford coming out with us one night and having a go on the old & rarely used pub piano in our local, everyone started singing and no-one would let him get up lol.
as an 11 year old who is learning rush e and has played fantasie impomtu and other classical songs, i can hereby declare that rush e is not the hardest song in the world
Rush E in its full version is unplayable solo - someone worked out that to actually play it, you need 9 pianos, 22 pianists, and 2 engines (blocks of wood you can use to strike multiple keys at once). You *can* make rush e easier to play, but you can also make it harder, by playing more or less of the original. Thats why it is 'the hardest song in the world' - because technically it is impossible.
this video shows the possible version and even after everything, no fake notes, no easy version, it's still not the hardest "impossible song" there is a whole genre of this type of music called "black midi" which is just soulless remixes of other songs but with note spam rush e is just the most popular
Love these videos saying playing the hardest part. Hardest song to play. So on. Yet every pianist can play the song or at least can learn it. It’s fast not impossible.
@@MandaBee-pf2jz It really baffles me when people find someone playing a 3 minute piece without the sheet music impressive. When Yuja Wang played the 5 Rachmaninoff concertos back to back, the fact that she did so without sheet music is probably the least impressive part of that momentous achievement.
An even better title would have been: best pianist in the world plays the most difficult piano song in the world. But then the second part would still have been a bit exaggerated of course. 🤔 😇
