For those who can't figure out what's so amazing about this clip... I'll help you out. Pro Rogue: Vanishes from point blank range to apply a quick sap to the healer (druid, focused target) Pro Priest: Accidentally simultaneously applies Shadow Word Pain (SWP) to the same target. Pro Priest: Realizes his SWP will damage over time and break the Sap, causing enemy healer (druid) to be able to heal the enemy warlock. Pro Priest: Reapplies SWP over and over so the damage won't tick. Look at the focused target, watch SWP get refreshed over and over. Pro Rogue: Kills Enemy warlock because Enemy druid stays sapped. gg.
Not exactly something new, i myself figures that out by accident but it was definitely common…that’s why blizzard nerfed it (first tick doesn’t get delayed anymore since years) and even put a initial small damage to prevent abusing it further
@@erikstein1348 if he used major rank, sure. absolutely no reason to major rank unless hes the kill target tho. r1 swp costs less than 40 mana each cast afaik, so ure looking at ~400 mana spent
This is what can happen when you play your class for a very long time... Every game mechanic your class can do, And how it interacts with teammates / Opponents, Becomes second nature Pshero's gameplay always amazes me, And for him to see something new from a priest, The most common healer comp with a rogue, speaks volumes Amazing. I knew SWP takes 3 seconds to apply its first tick of damage... Never thought someone could instinctively remember this, And reapply on a blind. Its insane
@@derel5880 basically, shadow word pain doesn’t start damaging until a couple seconds after you apply it, so the priest saw that he had sapped/blinded and started spamming swp to reset the timer on the one already on, to prevent it from actually starting to damage, which would’ve broken the cc. The target already had swp on it so by spam reapplying, you keep rolling the timer back to the start over and over. It’s pretty genius in a simple way.
BC has come this far already huh? remember quitting last year in dungeon blues. Was tired of coming home from work and not being able to get groups as a rogue.
@@FukkenGoogel Rogues have always been solid dps. It's just that Mages and especially Locks are more preferable with superior aoe. If you have your own group of bros it's easy, but a solo rogue out in the wild nobody will want to give them a chance.
i played wow for 10 years, now im resting.when i finish this video i thought i never see sap like that :D than i read video's title :D you are impressive pshero :)))
What's the purpose of spamming rank 1 pain? Genuine question of a non-classic wow player. I know it won't break the sap if he spams it but whats the point of doing so? Any priest proc or smth?
re-applying any pain faster than it ticks means it would never deal dmg if u kept re-applying it on every single global , if he was spamming max rank pain he'd be out of mana within a few globals while with rank 1 pain he can spam it during the whole sap and it wouldnt break and he wouldnt starve of mana
@@wasdawow4608 no, the priest was dotting the blinded target so he could go in for the fear since he didn't think pshero would get a sap off. The SWP covers as dispel protection from felhunter so the fear sticks.
he was spamming priest dot over and over to not break the sap... because when u apply the dot, theres a time delay before the first tick of damage goes through... so since he didnt know pshero was going to vanish/sap the blind, he made sure even though he dotted, that he didnt break the blind.
Learned something on my demonhunter also after a few years and a high pvp rating. The animation of thrwoing the glaives in pvp can actually be interfered with with certain stealthed druid and rogue builds.I noticed at around 2k rated bg grounds that I would appear and throw the glaive with plenty of time and they would still cap the flag with the leader shouting and finally watched a video about it and would now jump on those that did it.Also some folks like rextroy have exposed some serious glitches in some builds that make you overpowered in pvp.The same person also showed that some animations and camera angles can cause you to do better--or worse things.
Very nice, although what is even more ridiculous and disgusting about TBC PvP is that the druid (with trinket CD) was CC'd for a whole 34 seconds until he left. That is so broken.
u mean 28 seconds? blind not lining up with pvp trinket is broken yea, but considering how busted rdruids are tru all of tbc, id say its not my first complaint about tbc
I'm struggling to find an answer to this question but does anyone know if it is allowed on a PVE server to turn other players PVP by stepping on their AOE damage?
@@mcmerry2846 Also.. this is a player with fucking insane hours in arena/world pvp/ experience. And he's fully admitting he had zero idea that was a thing. Get real dude. You've never scraped 1800.
Reminds me of the million times I was in raids as a Warlock and feared CC targets and for some magical reason, my fear targets never pulled adds because I know how to juggle CoR/CoE. People would always say "I've never seen that!".
@Alec N. You cast Curse of Recklessness (which negates fear/horror effects) on a feared target to make it path back to whoever it's targeting, then put Curse of Tongues (cheaper mana cost than elements) to make it run away again. Hence the name 'fear juggle'.
@@bobar84c the priest didn't think pshero would sap, so he did rank1 sw:p and was going to fear. The warlock will pet dispel the druid, but has a 50% chance to get the dot instead. When he realized pshero got the sap, he instead kept refreshing the dot so it doesn't tick and break the sap, then fears after sap is over.
Always been fascinated by his absolutely bored face during games😂😂 crazy skill indeed. He is like doctor strange of rouges who knows what’s gonna happen even after three-four steps
Rogue Sapped the Druid Priest dotted the Druid Sap would have broken when he recieved damage from the dot but the priest kept spamming rank 1 Dot to rerfresh the Dot timer because dots need like a second to pass to deal the first bit of dmg but if he spams it it never reaches the time and doesnt deal dmg Priest used rank 1 spell to save up on mana
he sapped the druid, but the druid had a dot from the priest, so the priest kept reapplying the rank 1 of the same dot to refresh it so it doesn't tick and break the sap
Sap is a CC spell that rogues have that incapacitates the enemy (makes it so they are practically stunned) but breaks when they receive any form of damage. The priest refreshed his Damage Over Time effect so that the damage tick timer was reset everytime, so it never dealt any damage, thus not breaking the sap.
Priest applied SW:P at the exact time rogue sapped priest, priest notices and keeps renewing SW:P on global cooldown, so that the damage doesn't happen and hence break the CC.
To deal dmg long term. He probably didn't think pshero would sap him since he was in combat. When he saw that the druid did get sapped, he reapplied it to not break sap. Edit: I stand corrected, see comment below mine
to block the dispell on fear from Wlock pet but then Rogue sapped and priest kept spamming Pain to prevent the first bit of dmg because it needs a second to kick in on application
@@gregpeterson3144 in case you didn't notice the druid was on the pillars for the entire innervates and hard to chase down. literally no point going out in the open against a lock lol.
Basically all the people learn how to exploit the game or abuse mechanics of their own class... it's pretty cheap and dull. I learnt how to capture the flags in stealth mode in Lich King with a Hunter back in the day, but there wasn't any fun of that.
Why do u keep kidney shotting the warlock. Combo for pvp. Sap. Clean him of buffs bleed>slice n dice after only 2 combo points. Build up to 5 and expose armor. Now use every combo point to refresh slice n dice and expose armor. They go hand n hand u see. Faster attacks on a weaker target. Also profs mongoose and your weapon specialization
