As title says. A cleanup of a very good 15 years old sound system. Even to today (2024) - these speaker sound brilliant! Nothing is rattling and speakers sound crystal clear!

Love it 🥰 I used to own these speakers myself many years ago. I think I sold them with my Mac mini to a friend. Good sound quality & look!!!

Most likely some capacitors or cable that goes to the computer

Hey man great video. Im about to restore my old soundsticks as well, do you think that 96% Ethanol will work the same as your cleaning liquid? This is what I have at home 😅

Hm, not sure, you can buy it online: profimix.shop/proizvod/3122/ it’s only 5€/1l and the stuff is amazing! Edit: just check if they are shipping to wherever you are from :)

hey man, thanks so much for this video! but I'm hoping you can help me with one big question. I unpacked my 12 year old SoundsSticks 2 system and all works perfectly. But both of the speakers have the front sections disconnected from the rear. And I was going to epoxy the two halves together - as you did near the end of your video. But now I'm thinking, if I epoxy the pieces together, I would never be able to get them apart for further maintainance? So, I'm thinking, maybe just tape or rubber bands? I'm thinking of eBay-ing the system but not sure if anyone would want it, done up with tape or rubber bands? I tried Harmon Kardon to see if the two sections were supposed to come apart, but they were no help... What do you think?

Buy glue for mobile phones, it can be disolved with hear from a hairdryer (b9000, something like that)
