The Meepo NLS PRO is one great board, especially for the relatively reasonable price. I received mine about 5 weeks ago I am 61 years old and hit 30 mph (48.28 kmph) on mine a few days ago, and I don't think I was quite a full throttle. A crazy fast board!
MeepoBoard Kieran can you adjust the acceleration on the boards. If you can’t can you add it on the next boards. I want to have all the torque but not the full speed.
Hey fabi, hopefully you answer this, I've had my meepo board v2 for almost 2 years now, do you think upgrading to the NLS PRO is worth it? Im going to university soon so I need a reliable board that's not gonna break often, also does it handle better than the v2 on slightly rougher terrains?
I have a video comparing this to the v3 on my channel. The boards are similar and different in their own ways. The brakes are also much stronger on the v3. Give it a watch anyone who is interested 😎
Not a good review, more advertising. Misleading title, how does it compare to Boosted? Flex?? Remote? Trucks? Wheels? All these hub motor are great except safety, there is a good reason the outer rim of the belt driven wheels is rather soft, to grip parallel bumps and climb over instead of bouncing off. Than rear wheel comfort, hill torque. The author should concentrate more on comparison than selling.
I own the NLS pro since its release the review is good. It’s just Fabi goes by how it feels. In the review he flew up a 20% hill fast & quiet it goes over 32mph it can even hit around 30mph on 30% battery that tells you how good the hub motors are, It was controlled and carved well so that’s how good the trucks are the remote is great for control & quality but might be a bit big for some the 100mm wheels are sweet! the breaks work really well but it won’t stop you hard if you leave it to the last minute to stop the ER battery is second to none can do 20miles if you ride sensible but the best thing is the deck itself it feels amazing too flex & looks great you wouldn’t want any more flex on a 30mph board The only thing I changed was to put some knuckles bushing on it for an even better carve for the money it’s amazing full stop!!
Title was just a klick bait, fact. It is becoming so common on internet, to promise one thing and deliver your own agenda and that is my only criticism. The author has many good videos that I’ve liked and hopefully will have many more. Hub vs belt is a long story, that requires much more space. Hubs are quiet, have enough torque for most of my needs, just fine. Owned a few of them, and was very happy. The main downside as per my observations is full cylindrical design and thin grip layer giving less flex and lateral/grip traction of the outer rim. It is amazing seeing good quality wheel gripping an almost full size curb at a very low angle and tendency to climb over it. That is such a safety plus and confidence on the roads containing many board parallel imperfections which are real wobble hazards when attacked at the low angle. After trying the proper wheels el board couldn’t get back to hubs. Now own 3 proper wheeled el scateboards only. At the same time, dislike belt changes, noise… If only these hub motors can get smaller in diameter, and they probably will would be perfect blend. I would personally trade a 1000W+ hub motor for a smaller 750w with a 50years proven wheel design.
Not gonna lie... I've seen a ton of his videos and he promotes boosted boards like crazy. I had friends who tried boosted try my meepo n they blown away. They thought it was the next generation boards.... Belt drive boards are over priced, loud, less battery, high maintenance and dead in water when there's no more juice, so be ready to carry em. Hub motors are beyond what a belt drive system is. Shit, a similar motor is used for Tesla's cars. Boosted is pure advertising hype. When I tried boosted... I couldn't wait to get back to my hub motor board.
@@fonkyonder very true. But hubs make you have much thinner urethane on the drive wheels. Belt lets you use proper longboard wheels. This is the only big advantage they have but it's HUGE. Unless you happen to only ever ride on perfect silky smooth surfaces. But that's unrealistic. It's nice to have a hub board a belt board. Don't get me wrong I love hubs. The way they can coast for like 600 feet is just awesome. The ideal is direct drive. Coasting like hubs and with proper wheels for a soft well dampened ride. Ultra ultra smooth stuff. It's the future.
Hello Fabi, I am very interested in the Wowgo 3 but heard a lot of criticism of Wowgo in terms of customer support and delivery times. What do you think? Should I go with the Meepo NLS Pro in case they are better to deal with? Thank you //Jonas
These budget board brands just keep getting better and better. I’m interested to see how these will eventually stack up with Boosted or any other $1000+ brand in the future.
@@3Dbert Its my first board so I dont have much to compare it with but Im really satisfied with the product and delivery. For my first run I rode 15 km at an average speed of 17kmh, tackled some hills and slopes and went 30kmh as a top speed and it felt stable and comfortable throughout the ride(even for a noob like me). I rode at night so the light in the NR remote came really handy. Had around 45% left at the end. It took 14 days to arrive at my doorstep (China->Holland). Great hubmotor board I say!
What’s anyone’s input on this boars versus the boosted stealth? Seems like the Meepo board is better but I’m in the US so the boosted is easier to pickup and maybe I’m missing something? Also, does anyone know how long it would take from the order date to reach me in Florida?
The only thing I'm worried about with the black carve is that the motors are so close to the ground. Is the black carve getting shipped with AT wheels too??
I have a video comparing them on my channel. And can say that the acceleration is a little quicker on the v3. But the top speed is given to the NLS PRO
They are great when they are working, unfortunately, they aren't working pretty damn often. I wish Meepo would bump up the build quality a bit, I'd happily pay more for a reliable board. I've had multiple wires vibrate themselves loose, ESCs start doing weird shit, wheels completely falling apart, and a battery that just randomly shit itself, all within 6 months. If your board is held together with hot glue, I don't want it.
Fabi when is your comparison video going to come out? I ordered a NLS PRO just after watching your video last week and cant wait to see another video about it since i will still have to wait for a while to try it by myself.
Seems like the 100mm hub motors have a little more meat than the 90mm on other meepo boards, do you feel this helps with vibration compared to past versions ? 🇺🇸
Darryl Nunn the NLS pro is a flex board like the boosted board. More of a snowboard like ride vs the exway pro which is a completely stiff deck that has a tougher ride but more like a surf board on smooth roads
Meepo baby! I heard that X1 pro only goes fast until 60% 🔋then drops to a lame 21mph. Then below 40%🔋drops to an abysmal 17mph. Couple that with a garbage range and you do the math. I just bought a Panther X3S. And was debating on getting the NLS Pro. But the Panther range is 60km for the same price and same top speed.
Whoah that was an some awesome board specs. And rly cheap. I bought the nls pro but I can try buying the panther to my gf. If it turns out it’s bad or smthn I don’t care 😅
Also due to the Hobbywing the last two modes are basically the same. meaning it only has 3 modes. I've bought this board as of Friday and done a TON of research on it.
Hey fab after u use the boards they give u do u sell them on ebay just wondered if I could get a gd discount on one I'm not embarrassed to admit I'm a father of 3 that does not have a lot of spare cash but really would like one of these for my daughter.
Dino Frediani When I posted that, it was for sale at $679 and a $50 promo code JayBoston.... so I got it for $629 shipped but, it’s back to full price now and that code doesn’t work anymore.
You Said 300 pund is 106 kg. You are wrong there 😅 The website is correct with the speed as well so you are wrong there too 😋 but good video nonetheless 👍
They for sure will send it! Just look them up on Facebook or Instagram. They post about the boards they ship daily. I live in Germany and still love the NLS PRO!
Do you have any information on delivery time when purchased through your website Also I'm a little confused cuz the extra information on my credit card says clothing instead of e-skateboard or something like this
Hi Tobias. Please always send me an email. I sometimes don’t see comments on here. We will get the tracking number ond Monday/Tuesday. No worries about this there must be something wrong with the settings.
How would this compare to a sleek revolution flex e board 2.0? It's cheaper that's for sure! For a beginner like me I mean. Is this like jumping into a Ferrari after the driving test? Too much power?
Had a flex 2 from slick. Not happy with the board at all. Cant adjust belt tension, esc didn’t feel responsive, got two motors replaced by warranty, can’t change pulley teeth for different size wheels. eBayed the board and got a nls pro that’s arriving in a few days. My meepo v2p 30inch board with the hobbywing esc is smoother and more fun than my flex 2 and cost loads less. If you the money buy a second evolve rather than a flex 2. Love my mini meepo, got a feeling I will like the nls pro 😊
They are all my pictures and they stole them. I can can even prove it! They steal everything in China they stole my whole design and pictures.. they rebrand my design!!!
@@0123vegeta i have the v2 stock and i wanna buy something with more range and now the new v3 looks good however i really wanna see a review from someone that uses e.skat everyday
@@031246172 yea same here. The only vid I found comparing the nls pro and v3 ER was this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V-XqClrTue4.html
It depends on what you want! Bouncy Board VS Evolve where you can change out wheels and so on. Or just get a Black Carve which has everything 😉 And yes i love esk8 😂
@@Y0kiwi Nope, check Drag race beetween the Backfire G2T and Meepo NLS, they are like kinda close in Fast mode on G2T but the Turbo let you go like 45 even more if you are light, and if you hack it (buy another 3 speed remote like Wowgo) you can go all the time in "Turbo" mode.
Just wanted to help with something, I also thought that torque was related to belt driven systems and although belt systems generally have a lot of torque these things are not necessary related. There are allot of systems that have more power than the boosted, for example direct drive, like the raptor, that is not belt driven.
I’ll take reliable breaks and comfort of boosted board over Meepo. You keep saying these boards are so GREAT! U can’t compare this to the boosted stealth.
