As I watched the 2022 lineup of Hot Wheels Cars, I began falling asleep because most of the cars looked basically bland and boring! A few made me smile, like the Station Wagon and the Green Pickup Truck. Then I 🤔 thought after so many years, what was going to new with 4 wheels anyway! I guess at 61, I was expecting to be impressed. But this time, I wasn't.

A lot of those cars will have decals on it when they come out, so hopefully you will like them more when they hit stores 😉

Maybe you're right. But I don't buy them like I used to. After I suffered through 2 brain 🧠 surgeries and congestive heart failure in 2010 and 2011, my priorities changed. I gave away most of my collection because I had different challenges to face, so I wanted some children to smile like I did when I was a child. I still love Hot Wheels Sizzlers though! And yes, Hot Wheels have the coolest die cast cars overall, but the way most of the 2022 lineup looked to me made me feel a little disappointed. I suppose sometimes, after seeing some real awesome creations over the years, you wonder 🤔 what will be next? I guess I expected more fantasy or robotic type vehicles.

Hot Wheels Master? Thank you for your response. I know that they're not popular like they used to be, but as a child and even as an adult, I always LOVED the Hot Wheels Sizzlers line. I missed out on the Chrome Series of the mid 70's, except the Vanthom Silver Van! I was able to obtain that 1 which I still have, though it doesn't run anymore. I have all of the 2006 Sizzlers and they still work perfectly! If Hot Wheels Sizzlers were brought back with a new lineup, I'm sure that I would purchase a few! I had so much fun with mine as an 10 year old in the fall of 1970!!! Now I have some refurbished Sizzlers from the Golden Years of my youth! And next year, I will have my Sizzlers on the Fat Track of my youth!

I’m sure the 18000 people who watched this video, enjoyed it. This video is very informative for Hot Wheels collectors. So I don’t why you think it’s a waste of time. Maybe you don’t collect Hot Wheels. That would make sense.

More pos's as Mattel usual. Just because you throw on a different paint, tampo, wheels dont make it a new casting imo. Pure garbage no ingenuity. How many people like the same car just different paint & wheels year after year? If that's your thing then more power too ya I guess. Should change the name from Hot Wheels to "Meh Wheels". Same ole wheel styles too... smh, another disappointment another year I'll pass, I have more fun customizing.

I understand what you’re saying, but I actually really like recolors. It’s cool to see them next to eachother. It’s also almost impossible for a company as Hot Wheels to only make new models. That would cost way to much. I think they try to do their best making some new castings every year.
