That Kurtis sports car looks fucking cool as hell. Never seen one of those - I'll be getting that for sure. Overall, there's some nice models coming up!
8:40 a nod to the past. the 1960's Matchbox #12 Land Rover Safari early production was also dark green and dark brown luggage. I'm not sure why the new production Land Rover is a series 2 with series 1 round wheel openings. The series 2 has more squared-off wheel openings.
@@THE_HW_MASTERS Amen....I'm 57 ..and yes, I still love Matchboxes. Bought: Husky's Corgi Juniors Hot Wheels Tomica's All over the years...BUT Matchboxes will ALWAYS be my favorite. Something about them still attracts me.... I''m glad they went to the "simple hub" (I call it the Aurora ThunderJet hub..if YOU know what I mean - and yes, I collect old slotcars too). I do not like the new hubs - UNLESS it is APPROPRIATE. Looking forward to those new models.. ....Oh, and by the way - AWESOME VID. It reminds me of looking through the old Sears or JcPenny's Christmas catalogue when I was a kid! Sigh...those were the days! Keep up the great content.
In the thumbnail there are also some 2022 cars, but mostly 2021 cars, bc we don’t want to show too much before the video started. In the video is also the 2021 mainline list with all the 2021 matchbox cars.

@@THE_HW_MASTERSMy friend, I use this medium to consult you on the following topic. Yesterday a friend sent me an image of what is supposed to be the new edition of Hotwheels Car Culture, this collection includes: 1969 Volvo P1800 1957 Prince Skyline (not Nissan Skyline) 1957 Corvette 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL 1960's Peugeot 404. I have searched for information on the Internet, but to no avail. Thanks in advance.
I wish I could agree. It was matchbox that got me collecting again, I saw the red '59 wagon with canoe and I didn't bother with Hot Wheels until a year later and I've bought more HW than MB.
Matchbox is even worse than Hot Wheels with too too many recolors. On one hand it is easier to collect Matchbox becuase I don't feel compelled to get all the casting like I do with Hot Wheels. For Matchbox I can go for those Working Rigs. The last 2021 compilation was fantastic. I do have most of the rescue cars, coupes , roadsters, trucks ,and super sports cars from this year. Plus whatever 5 and 9 pack that catched my eye.
I think you haven’t read the different chapters in the video. In the beginning of this video you can see new 2022 Matchbox cars which aren’t in stores yet. After those chapters you can see all the 2021 mainline Matchbox cars, which are not new. Please read everything before you comment.
