I like that you waited for the process to complete then upload the videos instead of asking us to believe what you said. Also you numbered your videos so it is easy to find the referenced videos. What I learned here is moisture promote fast growing as long as they are kept cool to avoid rotting. Does the water propagation methods on one leaf cuttings (video 104) and rosette cutting apply to most succulents or just echeveria? Also, if succulents can grow fast in water, why do we move them to soil and why do they need soil with good drainage?
Hihi Hy Chen, video 104 works for all of Echeveria. And cutting works for all of succulents too. Planting succulents in water to get roots faster. Not for permanent planting. Because plain water don’t have enough nutrition for them. So planting in soil is the best way 😃

I’ve been doing this for a month now and I am really surprised of the roots that comes out of my succies even just for 2 days. But to be effective you should put 1/4 tsp of mineral powder inside a 1.5L of water. Shake and wait overnight for the powder to go down the bottom of the bottle. The next morning you can now use the water for any plants that you want to grow.🥰
Love seeing the process from beginning to end! Did you also wait for the larger cuttings to callus over before you put them in water, or did you do it straight away? Not sure if I should wait
I adore 🥰 the way you teach us! I am actually outside doing my succulents now. I’m scared, because one is really over grown and packed together. I remember how you show to cut and separate dirt and roots. Wish me luck. Thank you 😊 🌱🌱🙌🏼 ⛅️ ☀️.
LeLe's Time USA I will have babies soon. But I do have different kinds of succulent plants now though 🌱 🌱 I did everything you taught me. So let’s see what happens in a few weeks!
Hi LeLe, I always wondered why my plants kept dying. either l watered too little or too much!! So glad you showed that they can grow in Water!!!!!! Thanks.... Now I might not kill as many. LOL
@@ouridatagnit8820 i plant succulents.. they wont die in water unless there is still some soil on the roots or there are still left some rotten parts (you need to cut off all the rotten parts then let airdry few days to callous) that can rott the succulent.. and succulents cannot survive in only water forever.. it needs the soil nutrients too.. unless you grow them in hydroponic
I did the same thing for my cacti and suculent and they had roots and then when ı put them in soil they lost their roots in soil after a week.. I dont understand why... How often do you water your suculent after you dig them in soil?
Wow, very good work. I'm learning so much from your videos. Thanks. I wish I could propogate as good as you do, but I don't seem to have that talent yet.
I'm so happy i found your channel 😊 do we follow this procedure during summer time (hot period) only or we can do it during all seasons? Thanks and regards from Athens Greece 🌞
You can propagate cuttings any time of year when the variety isn't in a dormant period. Types like tree aeonium actually go dormant during the hot, dry summer and will be very difficult to root. To echo what LeLe says, keep them out of direct sun. Bright and indirect light is best. Our weather here in Southern California is very similar to yours (warm/hot & dry summers). Again, just do a little research to check when the specific variety goes dormant so you aren't wasting your propagating efforts in the wrong season. Good luck from Orange County, California, USA. 🏄♂️
@@bigtridentguy Interesting that they go dormant. I am in Singapore and we get alot of sun but it has also been raining quite a bit these days. Am thinking to propagate and cut off the top like in the video above. Not sure when is the wrong season since we only have 1 season :)
I was thinking the same. She also put the wet stem touching the water directly. She might waited for it to callus the put into the water.... but the video does not say she did waited.
Yes, this is what I am trying now. But I have a feeling in Europe, where we have the four seasons, even water propagation is very slow or impossible in February. I am living in Switzerland and until March plants are still dormant or largely slowed down. I have several Echeveria leaves in your plastic-covered bowl situation now as well as a stem cutting that has its top in water. I will tell you what happens if you are interested. Lucky you to be in CA! For succulents it is probably perfect... well, maybe not as good as in the southwest, but still more bright sunshine than we get at this time of year. Warm greetings, Judy
When water propagating a succulent rosette do you put the stem or the bottom of the rosette in the water initially, or do you suspend it and wait for roots to appear and grow down into the water?
Como fazer por favor, você troca a água todo dia? Estou começando a cultivar suculentas e cactos, e todos falam que não pode encher de água?? Responde por favor, obrigada
Oi o que vc coloca na água ? Qual enraizador?
Tenta... Abraço🤗
Em là hiện ở VN mê trồng cây với nuôi động vật Kh biết mơi mốt sang mỹ rồi ở xứ ôn đới Thì có thể trồng được cây gì của Việt Nam ạ cho em hỏi luôn là khi trời tuyết thì phải xử lý cây như thế nào ạ
How do you transfer them in soil? Do you keep the soil wet while planting them because they're used to having more water... Or do you plant them in dry soil like usual...
Hi. I love your videos. I wanted to know when you cut the scalent you dry the cut for a few days and then put in water or straight cut and put in water. Do you change water every week? Thanks
Thank you so much. They still growing but slowly than in soil. I try different succulents (4months in water). I will keep them in water longer time to see how they are doing. This is the video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VPJQfK7KBb8.html
@@lelessucculentsusa8978 thank you for your quick reply, I did it with a few watter bottles right after I watched your video. Also can you put aloe Vera in water to grow roots? Also what video is to do with spider plants so I can go view your tips. Amazing videos and sending love from Canada 🇨🇦 to you mamma!
Like 29 chi trồng sen đá đẹp quá .
