This setup was way more consistent than now. Loved the high revs too

Its originally came for tube chassis cars. With the headers coming out of the fenders you could lower the car a lil bit more towards the ground..... also with the turbo car they started doing it because of the heat from the turbo it cuts down on running more tubes and it keeps it a lil cooler under tge hood
