A great alternative to the wiring loom is black gaffer tape. It's matte black and binds everything together really well. Would work great at covering up all those wires coming from the controller, so they don't stand out.
@@E-bikeguy hahaha that’s good to hear that shows your work is good and it also shows in the smiles I’m sure he had! Congrats on everything man looking forward to your review of the S2! Proud of your consistency and appreciate the knowledge you share with us them sending a bike to review is nice!
Great bike build, they are lucky to have you building bikes for them, id love that bike! Good ole bmx, loved bmxing as a kid/youth/young man, can still 180 bunnyhop a bmx... I bet a hub powered bmx is fun, fun, fun!!!! Ebike kid's got it great with his setup, sure is wholesome seeing you do stuff with him/for him, too many kids are all about the consoles nowadays... Its good to see you all hanging out having fun, good times dont cost much and he/you will always have such great memories.. Good times.
Another Ruff N Tuff Tonka Looking build! My e bikes all have that bandage appeal of my extra battery wrapping and location on top front bar, but they faster than the 3000$ e bikes. This build is eye candy!!!
That's clean with the wires from the controller going to the battery bag. I've had that issue before with a wobbly wheel which turns out to be a poorly seated tyre. Also some of the cheap tyres also have a bad tread pattern, not being true due to manufacturing. Although the rim is true, it's annoying as hell seeing the tyre pattern wobble.
I recently did my 1st hub motor build, I'm used to mid drive. I do like it but I had that same noise coming from the wheel turned out to be loose spokes. Keep up the good work!
Yo E B4L, I have great FYI on understanding a certain limit of speed on e bikes. I really have to start wearing motorcycle helmet or hard cap because I was just going 30mph of 100 feet distance, as I came to my next left turn, I was wearing headphones and didn't hear the blow out but I'm always feeling my handlebars of motion as I almost had a side out fall when turning left but I balanced my body to counter the off balance. I almost crashed if I turned handlebars too left of my left turn. Just going 30mph and from now on, I'm wearing my helmet , no BS anymore or I end up quadeluptic or paralyzed ( seen many RU-vid videos of bikers crashing to be paralyzed from those falls) . It's serious more for the high possibility over the high speeds around 36 and faster. Them blow outs are DANGEROUS and nothing if nothing serious happened. Ya kids E, take no chances, teach them the 411, better safe than sorry if they have e bikes over 30mph. You too ,lol, but the helmet is very personal of using or not but I'm learning off this near mishap of deep crap...
@@E-bikeguy cheeses christ E !?! Saw the other video you posted going 60plus.?. Not sure if it was a statement of 72v but cheeses E, you along the cars, lol. Mannn, I'm always having you on thoughts of a daily safe day weekly. But likely you no flake with ya kids of fyiing them the helmets.
@user619tlsdca5 yeah lol I never would go that fast especially with the kids they will have some sort of gear on lol thank you tho I was a little scared tho
@@E-bikeguy Always on my mind once I'm cruising at 32mph plus. The thought of feeling the speed hoping not to have sudden blow out and why I'm always feeling out my handlebars of handling it proper of not wanting a front jack knife twist that will send my body forward of same speed flow. So far past year, 3 times had blow out when turning left at 32plus mph. I think I just need to slow down more before turning but very sound of being aware of feeling out physics and handling.
Please, please stop making such interesting videos. I'm now getting it in my head to modify my scooter and build an e bike. I'm too compulsive to get into new things, please spare me.... Lol! Great vids, but you really are giving me the bug. I'll be watching.
@@stuffdo_er what you thinking of building? I'm on with my 1st build, 1500w 48v with 52v 20ah battery, it's a Voilamart kit... I know it won't be anything special, but should be a lot of fun and help with the damn hills where I live.. Ebike guys been helping me with his knowledge/advice, I know I'm already bitten by the bug as I just been looking on eBay at these sabvoton controllers...not cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for, maybe in a few months I will update my controller to one.
Ive yet to buy a fat tire due to my limited income of not going over a grand. My best bet is to spend 400$ on a regular fat tire bike to convert to e bike, but im still on being cheap, lol.
Nice job. Did you ever mount a 175mm wheel in a 190mm dropout bike? I have a geared wheel from another bike I am upgrading and another bike. Its a steel frame I may be able to just bend i or just tighten the nuts to squeeze it. But if not how to add spacers to inside? How much on each side? And do I need a cassette or free wheel spacer? I know a caliper/ torque arm spacer is needed mounted on the inside.
Nice videos Ebike Guy, I also have the 45a sabvoton controller, but I notice that I can not select hard start…I can only do 3speed or boost which is ok but I want to speed on the jump. Is it not available on the 45a controller but is on the other ones? Im looking to upgrade to the 80amp or 100amp controller for the hard start option. Keep up the good work 🔥 👍🏾
I have a 7245 also, and an SW 900 display.I cannot get the speedometer to work.Any suggestions on which wires go to?What And I am also setting it up for a 60 V 20M.H battery any suggestions on the parameter settings for discharge rate
This late asl but im having issues with a sabvaton and wanna try getting new one is your controller labeled sabvaton or Risun motor? I noticed there's 2 different batches of these
i feel a wobble in my mtx39 rim, not from side to side, but up and down. i never hit a curb or something. brand new, i even checked it with a wrap tie. only dont know how to fix that
I just got my 45a controller for my ebikeling 1500w 52v setup but idk where to start with programming it because I don't know anything about my battery got the kit and battery used
