I would definitely invest in a cricut. If you don’t think you’ll use it a lot you can get the cricut joy, it’s smaller but does the same things. It has a washi tape cut setting too ;) these turned out gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you do next!

Yes, it's called a Cricut (Cricket). It cuts vinyl and cardstock. Along with a lot of other materials. I think it would be an awesome idea for you to get one. I have one and I absolutely LOVE it. I put all kinds of sayings and pictures inside of my resin projects that I've printed off with my Cricut. ❤

Julie they are beautiful. My favourite colour is navy! I have a cricut which is great for making my wood signs. All you need is paper cutter for scrapbook paper I think you can get it on Amazon. Love from NB Canada!

I love my cricut! I bet you can find lots a projects to use it with. I liked the white dotes but I’m not mad at the black. The sliver edge was chefs kiss!! Totally took them up a notch!!!

I recommend paint the lines & wipe all, then go back and add the dots. It’s much easier. Best to wipe while still wet.

Lovely colors, I really like the pattern of the washi tape. I don’t work with washi tape much. May I make a suggestion, the backs of the dominoes should have a consistent pattern, like a deck of cards so people playing won’t know which number dominoes have been selected. I hope that makes sense. The front with dominoes (dot side)-can have any design as it is always played face down.❤ I used to play all the time.

These are beautiful (just from the thumb nail alone hehe), but i was thinking of something if you want to use this tape in future projects. I don’t know if this would truly work, but if you’ve done something before (ie the dominos) could you do as you did and place the tape on the plastic then trace the item over it to get general shape without a lot of measuring? Again just a thought and not sure it would work.

You could get a corner punch to round the corners it's used in card making and scrap book making you could maybe order from amazon or ebay

These look great. For me I'm a color nut and I would have done the dots and lines in orange, pink, or even yellow. I love the silver on the back and you could have done the dots and lines in silver too. They are so pretty. Makes me want a set. Thanks for the fun video. ♥♥♥

A cricut joy would be perfect for cutting out the holographic vinyl or film into the exact shape and size plus you can make designs to put in your pours.

I have made these and did what you did and started doing them with clear resin with a couple of drops of alcohol ink. As I hadn’t filled them I put black on the back of them and they turned out really well.

When you outlined the back with silver it appeared you framed the constellations. It truly popped. A Cricut is an investment but you could spontaneously create your own custom items to imbed. I do not have a Cricut but after watching your channel for a while I have wondered why you did not have one.

You probably won't see this, but in case you do, you could always color the dots inside the mold. Meaning paint, color, dust, whichever you choose, then add your colored resin, then your back coat. Then it's all done, and you just pop them out and not have to worry about coloring them afterward. ❤❤❤ I love this set btw, astrological constellations are what is on the washi tape. Blue, silver, stars what could go wrong! 😊❤❤❤

The issue with them being see through is people cheating, right? The same is true if the backs are all different. It's akin to a marked playing card. But who even cares. These are stunning and I love them. ❤️❤️

I have a cutting die and a hand crank cutting machine. The cut pieces are just a little smaller than the domino but that insures that it is entirely encased in resin.

Love the silver edge. I just got a Cricut for Christmas and have to admit I was disappointed. I have been using a Roland vinyl cutter for years and the software and the vinyl I purchased from Stahl’s were much easier, faster and straight forward than the Cricut. It may cut paper better but if you’re looking for a vinyl cutter look to Roland and/or Stahls.

Why can’t you pre-paint the dots and lines before you add the first layer of resin? Wouldn’t that save a lot of time and effort? Washi tape comes in so many stunning designs and sizes so you might be able to find some that you don’t need to cut down to size. The galaxy/astrological design and the blue you used looks gorgeous. Pity about the sparkle overtaking the colours. Lovely work though Julie. 👏🏻🌺🌴

These are beautiful but basically not playable. Each domino has to have the exact same back color. That way you can't remember what domino is which one by the design on the back.

How do you fix the edges of the Domino? I've domed to the back because it didn't have enough resin originally. So the back/front is pretty but some of doming resin leaked onto the edges of some of the pieces. How do I fix these edges without ruining the front or the back?

You should start out with the Cricut Joy. That's what I have and I can go weeks without using it. I do love it though. I mainly got mine to make personalized name plate settings for my daughter's wedding.

I know this is really a dum question but how do you get away with mixing your resin so aquardly by that I mean not equal parts. All I have gotten says to mix 1 to 1. I've really confused with this.

Officeworks has a gillatene u could then cut straight down from top to bottom. Careful they are sharp but u can cut serveral at a time.

I spray/ wipe my dominos with alcohol after I buff them. Works well.

i have struggled to cut washi tape on a cricut. but for inbeds in resign it might be worth it . or ask on some forms/facebooks groups to see if people can cut them for ou like makr labs. also if your worried about over flowing the domino lines.. use washi tape.

If you are interested in a Cricut look into the Maker, it does tons of things. I personally have the Brother Scan n Cut and love it. You can scan an item and then cut it out. Dont need a membership or a cartridge. Love the Dominos.

There’s corner rounder punches rather than using scissors to round the corners. You can find them with scrapbooking supplies.

I’m so mad at myself… I mixed up a little less that a cup of resin to make a set of dominoes for my brother… I overfilled the cavities and now I have to sand all these dominoes down… I could have done half a cup of resin and been just fine…

Not white!!!! There’s no white on the domino itself, try the silver. O if the silver is brighter than the glitter it will look perfect with the tape.

Hi dear it will b easier to use washi tape as it is, just wait for the peices to cure then stick washi tape on the peices and sand the edges in the result you cut tape exactly the size of your peice then topcoat it, don't invest in cricut just for this
