Lots of people rate that figure highly! It looks great and I would love it if they re-released it with a premium finish! I would buy that in a heartbeat!

@RC80studio I have the Japanese hooks version. Closest you'll get to premium finish I think. It's an awesome figure and still my favorite prime figure from the first 3 films. Better than the ss in my opinion.

I agree with you. There’s a lot of junk on the SS that the Battle Blades Optimus hides.

@@RC80studio Battle blades also trues to replicate his back more, has a better alt mode, and more playability. And a more accurate transformation and bot mode. If they had kept and improved on some of the engineering of the RotF voyager, the SS would have been amazing.

The clip on the front grill snapped on mine. I wasn’t very when that happed! There seems to be a lot of quality control and poor design lately 😕

​@@RC80studioThe tab on the truck grille is doomed...that was largely a poor materials decision. It seems that on the original SS32, it's clear plastic painted silver. I have the first version of SS44 DotM Jetwing Optimus Prime, and when the tab on the truck grille broke, I noticed that the plastic underneath was solid blue and painted silver. Guessing that regardless of what they used, it's just way too thin. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with the 15th Anniversary SS32 reissue and the Buzzworthy Bumblebee SS44 reissue.

@@DragoonMSI had the Buzzworthy Jetwing Optimus and after my clip snapped on my SS32 I looked for a fix for the grille problem. I came across a video saying to shave the paint off the clip and it would be ok and it seemed to work! I’m sure the clip will give out eventually but that layer of paint makes the clip way too tight.

⁠@@RC80studio I have the same problem as you on this Optimus, the grille wire is broken. please How did you manage to close the grille like in the video ? thank you in advance. 🥺🥺

It’s not too bad for the price point. There are definitely better Optimus Prime figures out there
