That Haselwood stiff-arm was my favorite moment in the game. A WR giving a defender a dirt baptism like that basically summed up the whole game in real time
We know we’re gonna run it, they know we’re gonna run it, and they still can’t stop it. That is dominance. It’s been a long time since we’ve had that here in Fayetteville. Keep rolling, WPS
We ran a brand new play today. Never been done before in history. A quintuple option. We're using the running game as a pass. Briles might be inventing an offense.
@@bobbyjones1985 It was the drive where KJ threw the bomb to the receiver in the middle of the end zone. 12:38 in the 4th. It happens very fast. I suggest running it a .25 speed to really see it all. Here's the play: Pistol formation. 3 wide, Tight end left. LWR goes in motion and sets up behind KJ . Snap. 1. KJ reads to the right and fakes to the back on his left.. 2.Has an option to keep it and hit the right edge. 3. Rolls left with the motion man as the pitch man. 4. Has the option to keep it. 5. Hands it to Landers on the jet sweep. The RG pulled so it was a speed option left, not a fake for the sweep. That's a designed quintuple option. Never even considered before Saturday by anyone. If that's what the offense really looks like, we may be unplayable for most defenses. Theoretically in that type of scheme, you never lose yards. I've never seen anything like it before. That was a plain vanilla scheme, save the option. I think we got a glimpse of what Alabama is going to have to deal with.
Good to see Darren McFadden has returned to Arkansas after all these years. The NFL wasn't working out for him, but Arkansas will always welcome #5 RB with open arms.
@@ematt88 BUT he ran for 4600 and 41 td’s in 3 years at Arkansas with a loaded backfield. Obviously the nfl didn’t work out quite like that. Take a joke my man. Clearly it wasn’t literal.
Well DMac was obviously faster with that 4.41 speed too, but I was definitely thinking the same thing with that slight juke he did while running at full stride, and just the explosiveness of that play was all around reminiscent of some of the great downhill runners we've had at UA. Sanders is extremely talented. #WPS
Drew Sanders is an absolute animal! If we had even a decent secondary this defense would be great! Going to have to hope we can get a lot of pressure on the qb moving forward or we will have to just hope we can outscore our opponents.
A lot of Rattlers yds were in garbage time but I won't sugar coat it. Yeah they need to tighten it up if possible. We do lead the sec in sacks , which can only help .
Yes! My thoughts exactly. We are giving qbs wayyyyy tooooo much time to throw. They have to pressure them or we are going to have to outscore everyone. Scares me when we play Bama though after Texas almost beat them I think we’ll do just fine!
Hogs may currently be a legit Top-10, based on what we've seen so far, but they'll have to keep progressing thru the season to improve on that. There's more of a talent gap between the Top-5 teams in CFB and the rest of the pack than you seem to recognize, although we're obviously not too far off when at our best. It's crucial not to get carried away before we face some of the REAL tests coming up. #WPS
WHAT A GAME, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS ON MY 55TH BIRTHDAY!!!! GOOOO HOGS!!! #WPS :) Let's hope that the HOGS go UNDEFEATED THIS YEAR!!!! This is a GREAT START!!! Stay Focused HOGS!!! One GAME AT A TIME!!!!
Took care of business these last two games. got the lead and it held up. Defensive pressure today was more effective. Pool and Sanders make a formidable LB crew. Too bad Chris paul has his knee on the ground.
@@aaronjohnson799 He's a gun slinger. Spencer has a really nice arm. He just isn't always accurate with it. I'm by no means trying to hate on him, but you're correct. The huge touchdown pass over the middle and a few others definitely helped pad his stats from YAC.
@@lowkey2050 Last year vs Bama he was 22/30 with 3TDs to 0 int. Against A&M he was 7/15(which isn't the greatest) but also finished that game with 212 passing yards, 2TDs and 0 int. Against Ole Miss he was 25/35 with 326 yards, 3 TDs and 1 int. Against Auburn he was 21/35 with 228 yards, 2 TDs and 0 int. Against Mississippi State he was 19/23 for 191 yards, 1 TD and 0 int. Against LSU he was 18/25 for 143 yards, 1TD and 0 int. Against Missouri he was 15/19 for 262 yards 1 TD and and 0 int. You sound stupid as fuck. He had 1 subpar game against SEC teams last year and that was Georgia. And A&M If you want to count that game. But he made the plays when they counted and he didn't turn the ball over. You genuinely sound like a hater. And you absolutely just got proved wrong. Try again little guy.
If not for the penalties, we likely would've won by a bigger margin. Now to get ready for Petrino's arrival. Get his motorcycle and hot blonde ready y'all!
I kind of wish Alabama blew Texas out the water. You know saban is going to have them boys ready to play when it comes to Arkansas. They got embarrassed in national television, so saban is going to be chewing some folks out. But A&M was satisfying. 😁
Arkansas barely had to do anything on offense today to win this game. Just vanilla Razorback football. Run it down their throat, they can’t stop us…Go Hogs!
people assume that when teams lose to Arkansas they think Arkansas is a bad team bc of the rough past.. not anymore South Carolina played a very good and physical team and lost, WPS!
Probably not, but Landers had the safeties beat by about 10 yards or more and would've been in full stride into the end zone for a touchdown -- but he just dropped it. Frustrating play at the time, but it happens. Don't worry though, you'll surely see him actually take a few to the house this season. There's no question he's got talent.
Honestly I can see Arkansas being in the top 10 when the new AP/Coaches polls come out. I think the last time they were that high, they had Peyton hillis
WARMACHINE2013 I'm happy we are playing well but like I can't believe Catalon is out for the year AGAIN. How did he get injured again, it sucks we have one of the best safety's in college football but he got injured really quickly. At least we are doing good though WPS
